Stopped in after Church for lunch and again, as always, it was delicious... We started out with the chips and salsa (mild), plus the small bowl of guacamole... She had two Toastidas from the 'pick two' menu and I had the Chimichanga from the Lunch menu...
So many great selections to choose from! Highly recommended!!!

I have been going to Buen for 25+ years starting back when they had the small location by the high school. I have lived in Chicago and now live in NC and this is still my favorite restaurant. We are always treated well when we go! The Chile con queso is the best I’ve ever had, and everything I’ve ever tried on the menu has been enjoyable. This place will always have a special place in my heart!

Excellent food camaronés ala diabala and the panchos were the bomb. Server was pleasant and anticipated our needs. Will be stopping here to eat whenever we're in town.

Best authentic Mexican food in Illinois.
Amazing prices and the real deal on typical Mexican fare. If this restaurant was located in Chicago it would cost a fortune. Unfortunately most people in Danville don’t recognize how great this restaurant really is. The upside is that it’s usually not terribly busy and the atmosphere is lovely. Dirt cheap bang for the buck top-notch Mexican food just like they make it in a small town in Mexico.

This is your place if you are looking for real Mexican food. My Mexican family members feel this is the most authentic in town. Personal fave is the chicken enchiladas. Service is great too! And can't beat those prices.

A hidden gem on North Vermillion Street. This restaurant might be hard to find but while worth the hunt. Excellent service, authentic Mexican entree, and clean well light environment. I hope that your experience will be as great as ours!

Had a great lunch and definitely couldn't beat the price. Chicken chimicanga, rice and beans came out fresh. I couldn't even eat fast food for what I got out of there paying.

I’ve been there my whole life however more recently I’ve been ordering takeout (COVID) but when I do dine in it is just as I remember it has great food, service, and it’s cheap!

Fresh, homemade food that never disappoints! It's my favorite place for Mexican cuisine as I have been eating here for 23 years. I always order the Chicken Taco Salad and my kids order the Grilled Chicken Breast with blanco queso.

We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. We didn't eat.

The workers treat my table like family. Patrons are greeted with smiles and great chips and salsa! My group loves going here because it is rarely busy so we can take up half the place and just ENJOY our dinner. There is a food perfection for every taste and a well-stocked bar. This will always be a winner here in Danville.

Food, service & price was fantastic. I had the chicken fajita salad & it was delish. I've had other food too & it's just as good. I highly recommend this place.
