Ashley was my stylist and I showed her a basic picture of what I wanted, knew that it was right for my hair thickness/texture and color and she was 100% spot on. Fast, professional and friendly. Nice to be taken care of and enjoy the service from start to finish. Thank you, I will be back!

I've been to Urban twice and had Annie and Ashley cut my hair. By far my favorite hair salon I've been to. Everyone is very sweet and extremely good at their job, they're very generous and attentive, and its overall a very pleasant experience. 10/10 recommended

What a place! I finally have a hair salon to call home. I have never left unsatisfied, Jamie is very professional and listens closely! Also the atmosphere is fun. Worth every penny. Happy to contribute to such a great local business full of passionate artists.

What a place! I haven't been to a hair salon in ten years, I never much liked the experience of going to get my hair cut, but WOW, does Urban have it figured out. Receptionist was friendly, awesome vibe inside, they offer refreshments while you wait, and most of all - exceptional Stylists. I had Leah and I would highly recommend her. She was friendly, professional, and paid attention to every detail of my hair. I can tell that Leah takes great pride in her work and has an artistic eye for hair style. I will most definitely be going back to Urban.

I really liked this experience. The staff was very friendly and listened to my input on what I wanted. My stylist Jaime was wonderful to talk to and she knew how to best frame my face for a great new look. The owner's dog was super friendly as well.

URBAN exceeds all my expectations and has for several years. The staff is friendly, fun & personable.and Sarah is one of the best - as well as a classy & delightful person. She fun to converse with, she's honest, Sarah listens well & tells me if a style is right or also says if a style won't work with my hair and she careful & thorough w/ cutting & styling hair. The other stylists who have done blowouts are quite good & I can easily recommend them. The women @ reception are sooo welcoming - make you feel special & provide a beverage if you so desire. And of course there's Deuce, Sarah's Bernise Mtn dog, whose welcoming personality completes the salon!! Thanks.

Sarah & her team did the make up for our wedding. They were AWESOME and knocked it out of the park. Renee, Chelsea & Sarah kept everyone moving and kept us on time. They were friendly and provided tables for us to have coffee, drinks & breakfast. Everyone's make up and hard for my bridal party looked amazing. Thank you again for everything!!! :):)

URBAN is the best salon in Kalamazoo by far... The staff is so friendly and all of them are equally as talented. When you go to URBAN you will be met with professionalism and fun-spirited stylists. It is truly a great experience.

Best place in Kalamazoo for a hair cut by far. I've gotten my hair cut here by a couple different members of the staff and they all do a great job.

They colored my girlfriend's hair, it's looks perfect! She has finally found a salon she feels comfortable going to.

Jamie is awesome! The whole salon is great. Hip, trendy and on point. Love the shop dogs too!

They fit me in right away and gave me an excellent cut. The head massage during the shampooing was also fantastic!

My experience at Urban is usually pretty great.
I mainly go for the fantastic products they use.
Oribe is the #1 reason i always choose Urban!
