Saugatuck Brewing Co. - Kalamazoo

Came solo on a Saturday evening for dinner and was seated immediately. I love their brand and enjoyed every beer I ordered in my 4 drink flight. Each sample is individually priced so you can order more than 4 if you want.

I had the Frisco melt sandwich with the secret sauce on the side with fries that was very good.

High, Low booth and bar seating. Clean. Average restrooms. Good service but not happy to be working. Unknown on wifi. Moderate prices. Limited street parking.

5 stars for the beer. 4 stars for the rest. I would return.

We stopped in for lunch with our 7 year old during spring break today and had a great time!

Food and drinks were great but the best part was our server/bartender Beacon. She was so kind and personable all while managing the bar and people at tables on her own. Our service was fantastic. Beacon even overheard our daughter be a little bummed that mom at the last bite of her chicken tender (she said she was done!) and brought over a surprise freshly cooked tender. It was the sweetest and funniest little gesture.

It’s been a while since we’ve encountered a server so wonderful in Kalamazoo. Beacon is a treasure!

Stopped in 9:45 wondering..will they serve us food close to close time. YUP full menu we ordered amazing tasty food…these were a tie for the best chicken strips I’ve had..and the beer was great as well. Stop here when ur in the area u won’t be disappointed

I like that there are flights for the beer. And they are 5 oz servings. So, plenty. The service was amazing and the food was great. The server accidentally put my order in for chicken wings I stead of the hog wings. Not only did they quickly remedy the issue but they also discounted the meal. That is how you ensure satisfied customers. The hog wings were awesome, so tender. And the sliders were awesome as well. Interestingly, they made it to the table cooler that I'd like and medium well instead of medium, but they were so delicious, I couldn't bring myself to take them down to 4 stars. If google allowed 1/2 stars, I would have given them 4.5 but the service, customer satisfaction, and flavors tipped the scales closer to 5 stars than 4. If I am ever back in the area, I will definately be back.

Stopped in to try a flight of beer and to check out some local breweries. They had a lot of beer available on tap and even some of their tier 3 beers in cans for carry out.

The wife and I snagged a flight of beer but no food. I absolutely loved everything we tried. My wife really enjoyed the Ghost of Neapolitan Nitro and grabbed a 6 pack to take with us. My favorite was the Lux 13, it is really strong but very nice.

We were there around 1pm on a Friday and it was not overly busy at all. The tables were spread out for Covid. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. The music was nice but the kitchen's music was distracting from the dinning room.

We saw the food around and it all looked amazing, if we hadn't just eaten we would have definitely grabbed something.

A lot of the breweries around the area don't open until 3pm or 4pm so this is definitely worth stopping by during the earlier part of the day.

Visited here for a round of drinks during the week and had a great time! It was pretty slow when we came in, and our party of 8 stopped by the bar to try a few different beers on tap. Most of us ended up doing a flight since it was our first time here. The beers were so delicious and flavorful, and was a great reminder of why I love local breweries! Our bartender was very helpful, friendly, and just went above and beyond to help us. The inside of the brewery is very inviting and an enjoyable atmosphere to be in. I love that you can see some of the actual brewery inside the restaurant as that really adds to the vibe. Sadly we did not get to try this time!

Really really nice find in Kalamazoo. This place had lots of style and solid product to back it up. The bartender was fun and engaging to chat with. Very accommodating as well. Phoenix was the man! They had wifi and a TV to watch sports. It was clean with plenty of seating. I was also there close to closing time but didn't feel rushed at any point.

I tried several of their beers including one jalapeño one I didn't think I would like but very much enjoyed. Give their weird beers a try. They pull them off with subtlety. I liked the Margarita pizza. Was extra cheesy. Didn't have any flavors that dominated too much. Consider ordering it extra crispy though. For sure plan on revisiting this spot. One of my favorites I've hit up in Michigan.

Went during kalamazoo's restaurant week and got the fish and chips for 2... more like fish and chips for 4! Portions were perfectly fried, super meaty, and huge!! Saugatuck has also been upping their game in beers and had quite a few tasty tier 1 and 2s that came with the meal... for $35, we got a giant meal, dessert, and beers. They are great about wearing masks, indoor and outdoor dining (although outdoor can get a little loud with the cars driving by), and had great overall customer service. We will keep coming back here (their nachos are definitely one of the best in kzoo)!

A good addition to downtown. Beers are good and so was my smash burger.

I only had their beer, but it was good. The double IPA was just ok, but the New England style IPA was one of the best beers I've ever had. The food menu looks fabulous and has a following.

Cauliflower tacos and veggie burger paired with about any beverage you like. All great! Forgot changed from Big Doge r.i.p

Great selection of porters and stouts. All of the beers I tried were very well balanced. The neopolitan milk stout is a trip, you can taste the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, but it is subtle. The artichoke dip is amazing.

Fun little brewery. I liked the fruit beers, but they also had darks (I just don't drink dark beer in the summer.) I'd go back

Great brewery! Been there pre-COVID when transitioning from Gonzo's and frequent customer of Gonzo's prior to that. Living the updates. Great for, great beer. Good times!

Tuesday night is $14.95 for a beer and a smash burger that is incredible. Friendly staff and a great GM in Emma! Take a chance to visit and u will come away very happy!

Everything works. This place is great for all the reasons I can think of, I've been here many times, and I'm definitely going to come back. Seriously, you have every reason to try this place out. I've never been disappointed and I'm confident you'll enjoy your visit too!

Poutine and the beer flight were both great. Outdoor seating has a nice atmosphere too.

Wonderful evening out at the new location. The food and service were excellent. I’d recommend the Olive Smash Burger and the Mac & Chez, both were delish! Will definitely be back to try more beers and menu items.

My wife and I were on a long weekend and decided to give Saugatuck a try on Sunday afternoon. I knew of their beer and had tried several and always thought they were well above average. But we were totally unprepared for the food! We had the steak bites and split a smoked chicken stack sandwich with parmesan truffle fries.Unreal!!! I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthwatering bite!! Our server Delaney was wonderful as well!! Very engaging,not pushy in the slightest and very helpful!! We were super pleased with our first visit to Saugatuck. We will definitely return!!!

Had a great time. The service was amazing and the bartender was very commutative and friendly, they have great drinking options. From blondes to porters and wines, also have the 6 flight option which is great for someone who wants to experience new flavors or just wants to have more than one flavor drink at a time. The environment is very calm, laid back but you are able to have a good time with people minding their own business. Last but not least, the food... was absolutely amazing, I had the pulled pork mac wrap w/chips. The plate was stunning and the flavor of the food followed suit. I will absolutely go back, very enjoyable and easy loving place!
