This is a great access point to experience several of the wonderful areas of the Sipsey Wilderness! Wether you are going on an overnight hike, or just out to explore this access area provides opportunities along the Sipsey river and a short distance to Borden Creek.

This place was beautiful. I wish I lived closer. We only had an hour and a half so we didn't finish the trail. It was a pretty easy walk though. Some spots you need to be careful with because of slippery spots or jumping over little streams.

One of the most rewarding hikes I've ever been on. Minimum three very full tall waterfalls, the Sipsey Fork River was full and a beautiful shade of blue/green, a gigantic tree had fallen and crushed a shelter area, and another tree was struck by lightning and you could see the patterns on it. Beauty at every turn. The trail is also very easy to follow, but you definitely want to have hiking boots, and if you're going after a rain, hiking poles might be useful for balance. Highly recommended! I went February 26th 2022 after we had about a week of rain. Can't wait to go back in the spring when there are more leaves on the trees and it's a bit sunnier. There is a $3 parking fee, so bring cash. It's the least we can do to keep nature like this preserved for future generations.

Absolutely gorgeous any time of the year. We hiked trail 200, the Borden Creek trail. Wildflowers are beginning to bloom. Every little drainage had a waterfall. This is a federally designated wilderness area. Groups size is limited to 10 persons. Dogs must be leashed. And please, Leave No Trace. Take nothing but memories, leave nothing but footprints.

Gorgeous day! Saw 4 beautiful waterfalls. Kinlock Falls, Mills Falls and 2 others on trail 209. Had a great time! Had a picnic at the recreation area. Really pretty area and a bathroom there too. 👍

So many waterfalls. Ended up going straight on the trail because the og trail we had to cross the water and it was just way too deep this go a round. I was not disappointed, saw lots of great things.

There is a fee. $3 per vehicle. We did not know that before hand. Luckily we had cash on us. You are not supposed to have a group of more than 10. Make sure to look up the rules. They are there for a reason.

Parked here for a hike to Mize Mills Falls, a pit toilet and nice spot to play in the river. The trail to the falls is pretty short and not difficult

I don't have words for the beauty that is the Sipsee Wilderness. My deepest regret is that I waited so long to explore this slice of heaven that is practically in my backyard. The botanical diversity is mind boggling. The bigleaf magnolia (Magnolia macrophylla) is abundant. Although native to the southeast US, they are rare in nature due to loss of their habitat. Waterfalls are everywhere; often encountering one while still in earshot of the last. Peaceful and beautiful place to visit.

This is a nice and clean area to park. We parked overnight here to hike in trail 200 to 209 for an overnight camping trip.

We loved this trail easy to follow. Beautiful waterfall great for camping. Well traveled lots of people safe for beginners or trips with children. Will not disappoint. Unless you want trip away from seeing people. Sipey trail runs into another trail with tons of wild flowers butterflies small cave and a Fatman squeeze lots of beauty and excitement but easy trail. Out and back trail great time camping.

Beautiful Spectacle of Creation. A 12 mile walk is plenty of time to consider how small humanity is in a vast wonder of God's world.

This place is an absolute Heaven on Earth! It's so peaceful and quiet, the falls are very relaxing, and the path is an easy-medium difficulty.

I've been coming here since I was in high school. I love the Sipsey wilderness area and I now take my son on fishing and camping trips here. A wonderful slice of nature.

Lots of walking available, and on some trails be ready to get your feet wet, but it's absolutely beautiful.

Borden Creek Trail is a Beautiful trail and relatively easy to walk with several small waterfalls along the way. It is one of the most popular in the Sipsey Wilderness Area.

We took a slightly less traveled trail that goes down to Turkey Foot Falls. It's a difficult trail for kids at points but my 9 year old made it. Has quite a few falls that are awesome to see. There is a camp site near this fall before Turkey Foot that has a fire pit.

Nice place to get down to the river. We were checking the ease of being able to put in a kayak. There is a day use fee of $3 per vehicle. One outhouse type restroom facility.
