Hiked to White Falls and Valentine Fall from here. Almost 7 miles road trip but we'll worth it. Small parking area will hold about 10 vehicles. Download the Alltrails app to hike any of the trails. Be sure to download the trail you wish to follow because there is no cell service. No public bathrooms. Just nature ad a beautiful walk in the woods.

Great experience, very eye opening when you see things from another perspective. Randolph Trail Head 202 offers a breath taking example of a time before Any time we know of. Less than 200 yards in on the left.

Randolph Wild trail taken by itself is bit of a boring 4 mile hike. But at the end, you're rewarded with two really nice waterfalls. To reach them you have to know they're there. The first one is easiest to get to. After about 3.5 miles from the trailhead you'll start down a steep descent. The trail will level off briefly at a small campsite. Turn around and take a few steps back the way you came and you'll see a fork that you probably walked right by without noticing. Take that fork to the left. In less than 5 minutes you'll be at a very nice waterfall in the wet season (early to mid spring, or after a significant rainfall)

The second waterfall is much harder to get to, but worth the effort. Go back to the campsite and continue going the way you were originally going. The trail gets much steeper. Yes, I said much steeper...so be careful and watch your footing. You'll soon come to a trail crossing. Take a left and follow that for a couple minutes. You'll come to a small creek that feeds into the larger Sipsey river on your right. Turn left at that creek. There's a trail there that is well defined in spots, and hard to follow in other spots. Just keep going with that creek on your right. Keep going until you reach the waterfall

It is my favorite trail. You're out in the middle of NOWHERE. Plenty of campsites. Following the river to White Falls is always worth it. There's a cave me and a friend went by that smelled like death, way deeper in, but none here should even come across it.

Plenty of parking and a nice starting point to hike to several areas in the Wilderness. From the trailhead to Sipsey Fork, which is right after you get down into the canyon, is about 3 miles.

Good place to start your hike ,but definitely recommend some good bug spray as ticks are rampant in that area

Good parking spot, not always room to park based on the weekend. Sometimes there are 2 cars Sometimes 15. Just don't block the gate or you can get towed. I haven't but it can happen.
