Spring Hill Pastry never disappoints! They are our go-to for birthday cakes and they exceeded our expectations. I love that they can scan an image on your cake and then take it up a notch! Here are several they’ve done for us.

I have been going to Springhill bakery for the kids birthday cakes the last few times now. They are close to work so I'm able to stop by afterwards. Every cake I get there is not only delicious and fresh but it is also decorated beautifully. Friday I picked up a sheet cake for my daughter's birthday and it was strawberry. So many people complimented the icing. I pointed to the box and said Springhill bakery! Their hotdogs are amazing too!

It smells so good when you walk in the door, and it tastes even better. Good service too, even though as newbies we were a little indecisive. We got "hot dogs" and see why they are so popular. Look forward to many more visits to try all of it!

We heard and read about this bakery and their famous "hot dog" donuts. Don't worry, no hot dog which I hate, just a fresh soft damn good donut with a whipped cream type filling. We come from an area that is known for mom n pop donut shops and have not found any to even compare with the donuts from our home town in the Midwest. Well... We finally found it. May be the best donuts we've ever had! Even my husband who is not a sweets eater loved them. The freshness level is beyond crazy, melt in your mouth fresh! We tried a variety of a couple options, as you see in the picture, and I can truly say each was just as good as the one before. Wishing we bought more but thankful we didn't because we would have shoveled it all down! Well done Spring Hill Pastry, you went above my expectations and standards for a great donut. Also- If there is a line to order don't worry- it goes fast but even if it didn't it's worth the wait!

Don’t even know where to start!! I always thought petit fours were tiny little cubes but learned there’s were the most scrumptious huge completely covered vanilla cake!! Snowballs… oh, the yummiest marshmallow fluff! The double dip pastry is so yummy, it is full of vanilla and chocolate flavor! Their claim to fame is their hot dogs, they are good but I love so many other things that I hardly think of them anymore. You just have to keep going back as there are so many things to try!!

It’s always delicious, visiting and the amazing smells of baked goods. It’s a good thing I’m an hour away I’d weigh 300 lbs !!!!!

The people here are AMAZING.
I have them make my son birthday cake the last few years I have been in WV. Their pastries and cakes are phenomenal.
This year they are making me a massacre on a birthday cake for my son's Chainsaw Man's birthday .

Great pastries, great prices, and great customer service. They only use non-latex gloves, so good news for people who are allergic. Last time I had glazed and cream filled donuts, with chocolate icing. I will come back again.

First time costumer here but oh dear Lord I'm glad I do not live close enough to go by this place every day or weekly lol. Absolutely smells delicious as soon as the door opens . I fell in love with the house specialty, the hot dog, or what I would call it, the joy dog. We went in twice today. So delicious. Already thinking about my next trip to Charleston.

Until our recent visit with family in WV, I had never been to SHPS. Once we arrived, my Uncle David told me that he loved their Hot Dogs. What a funny thought, a pastry shop selling Hot Dogs? But he laughed and told me about these fascinating "Hot Dogs".

In our 4 day stay, I managed to try these, the Creme-filled Brownies, Chocolate Covered Buttercream Icing Cupcakes, Lemon Meringue Pie, and their Donuts. 🤤🥐🍩🎂🥧😋 Btw, the Hot Dogs are pictured, a hot dog shaped pastry with a delicious cream icing throughout the middle sprinkled with powdered sugar. 🤤

Spring Hill, you rock the Charleston, WV area! My Mom brought goodies home to SC for us; needless to say, they did not have an extended stay!

If we lived closer, I would have a difficult time not indulging in a daily treat! Two thumbs way up for Spring Hill Pastry Shop; you do WV proud! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻

First time at this bakery, on the advice of a friend. The shop was busy well staffed and all the items looked delicious. Cakes, pies and pastry so many choices. The lady who waited on was friendly and helpful. I purchased four eclairs. They were delicious. I'll definitely visit again on my next visit to Charleston.

The cake they made for my mothers 90th birthday was a masterpiece! She has Alzheimer’s and I wanted something bright that would catch her attention and it did. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, it tasted as good as it looked. Thank you for making her birthday so special.

I actually noticed on my last visit they sell home made bread....YUM !

I usually add pictures to my reviews but unfortunately this time I did not, I just dove in 😍😋 I will say that the pictures you see on thier photos are truly to par. I have copied a picture here to show that they truly look as they do in this photo. The beautiful pastries you see with chocolate drizzeled on them are called Dogs I do believe and they are to die for and I prefer the ones without the chocolate but both were great to eat. We also tried the canolas and it was like eating a cloud it was so soft. We have never ate anything so soft and so delicious at the same time when it comes to bakery. The only upsetting thing is....wait for it...........thier not at my hometown. Please give Spring Hill Pastery Shop your business when visiting Charleston or hey just jump off the interstate and grab some for your trip, you will not be disappointed I promise you. Thank you Spring Hill Pastry Shop for such beautiful and delicious pastries and I would recommend for my own guilty pleasure that you add a Shop in Roanoke va. Thank you and God Bless!!

Our family is grateful to be able to support another local, family owned business in our hometown and it is icing on the cake (pun intended) that Spring Hill is amazing at what they do!! For my wedding day this spring, I knew Spring Hill would be a great fit in delivering a delicious, beautiful yet simple almond cake for the big day!!!
