Slanesville General Store

Love this place! They have very nice staff and they sell a lot of different things here. My family settled here from Ireland and the town was named after them (Slane) so I try to come here often for the history! Would definitely recommend it!! Also, they sell Slanesville General Store shirts now and I bought 2!

Absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was perfect. The All American burger is my favorite. It's the best burger in the area in my opinion. The thick cut steak fries are awesome too. Great setting and service. This is my 4th time here and it was spot on in every way, every time. Clean restaurant too. And prices are great! Me my wife, and 4 kids all got great meals and drinks for about $64! It was well worth that! I'm telling you this place is worth the drive even if you don't live close. We all loved it and will be back very soon. 👌👌👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Awesome set-up! The resturant food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful. Our party was large and she kept up with us. The store part was great and had a selection of everything. I definitely look forward to coming back here again. They also have firearms for sale here, how awesome is that!

This store and restaurant under the current Ownership is a blessing to our little community. As this review is taking place during the pandemic. I’d like to deeply express all this Establishment means to our little community. All the employees and the owners are always friendly and helpful and courteous. They have just about everything in their range of stock for all your needs - a grocery section that has fresh meats (great quality) and fruits and vegetables and they have fresh baked goods. Along with already fresh prepared heat and eat meals and a hardware section- nuts, bolts,nails etc..., plumbing,paints, electrical,animal fed and a good assortment of other items. They even carry a line of shoe ware (shoes and boots). Their food to go in the store and restaurant is great as well (whether your dining in or carrying out. (no dining in at this time-only carrying out). They are protecting our community. By following the C.D.C. Guidelines.

The All American burger and fries were perfect. One of the best iv ever had.
Burger was huge and the wide sliced steak fries were crispy and hot. I don't ever do reviews but they really deserved it. The chicken strips and fries the kids ordered were great too.
The prices were great in my opinion.
I don't live in the area but I'm going to start driving there more now for sure.
The atmosphere was nice. So glad my wife pointed it out and said wanna try that place? ⭐Great dinner⭐Very filling.⭐

Excellent dining at the "Main Street Grill" (although the name has been changed recently). Great assortment of hardware choices including nuts and bolts, toilet repair, keyed locks, PVC conduit and pipes, a myriad of other 'necessities'. Also, a good place to stop for the local paper (the Hampshire Review) on Wednesday's, and good, hot coffee in an emergency ($1 in your own cup!).

Awesome general store. The have redone the inside so it looks really great now. The diner is super friendly and serves good comfort food.

Very nice little shop. Everyone was very kind. You can truly get everything you need from that shop. We bought stuff to make dinner at the cabin, the meat and produce was very fresh.

Slainsville General Store makes the BEST fried chicken I have ever had!!!!! And you can’t beat the price!!! I will never eat Popeyes or KFC again.
