Valley Guns II

I recently moved to the area and needed a good local gun shop. I'm thrilled I found family-owned Valley Guns. The folks there, from the owner and his daughter, down to every single employee, are just incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. No one has an "attitude" and you can ask any question and get a sincere, insightful, non-judgmental answer. I bought a rifle there and they helped me choose the proper scope for it, then set it up flawlessly the first time. Was able to go to their on-site rifle range and sight it in. As far as I'm concerned, if you're within driving distance of this place, you shouldn't think twice - it's a bullseye :-)

Took my husbands bow in “per his request” and the guy was super nice and fixed it very quickly! He didn’t even have to ask me any questions. Which was very helpful considering I’m not the most knowledgeable on the subject of bows.

Great service. Been going to Valley off and on for years. They have always gone above and beyond regardless of who was behind the counter. So many gun store employees have bad attitudes, and I have yet to run across that here (whether myself, someone with me, or towards a stranger in the store). I have also found their prices to be reasonable and lower than a lot of pawn shops without the haggling. They have earned my business.

Went in to sight rifles before season and again as usual staff is awesome ,they were quick and got us set up in no time. Great shop great staff

Justin was very courteous and Knowledgeable. Lee set up my 2019 xcursion 6. Installed peep, rest, kisser button, checked 2nd and 3rd axis of the sight. Perfect job! I highly recommend this place to any archer.

Handy to get to off Interstate 81 and lots of interesting things to look at, drool over, and purchase if you find what you're looking for. Ammo is always in demand so may not always be in stock in the caliber(s) you're looking for. "Supply and demand" is the order of the day, so get there early or call ahead. I found the "Valley Guns II" folks helpful and willing to chew the fat and answer questions if they're not too busy. They have lots of parking unless you're in a big rig with a trailer.

The staff was very nice and professional. They asked me if I needed help several times. I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market for a weapon of some sort. I just like shopping around and getting information for any training for myself. I'll definitely be back because my son enjoys going here.

Excellent customer service and efficiency. Walked into the store ready to buy a handgun and purchased a Sig M17. All the guys were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend. 5 Stars.

I walked into this store for the first time today and was looking for a particular type of handgun which luckily had in stock. I have limited experience with handguns, and this is the first one I’ve purchased. Terry helped me and was very thorough explaining the features of the handgun. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole process including the background check did not take long. I am very happy with my purchase and plan on returning later for the safety class.

Came here for the first time today. Traded a rifle for another rifle and bought my first pistol. The customer service was great. Will definitely be returning for any future needs. Had somebody asking me what they could do to help didn't even need to ask. I was helped by several employees and all were great. Got a great deal on a pistol and left very happy with it and my rifle trade.

I have been going here for 10 years. I absolutely love this place. Everyone is nice and full of info and ready to help. More stock of ammo and guns than you could ask for. They resale guns. Prices are the best. IF YOU DO NOT GO TO VALLEY GUNS 2, you are wasting your time and money.

The employees here are fantastic. We went into the shop a few months ago not knowing a lot about guns. The employees took their time explaining pros and cons of different models and general gun safety and recommendations. We never felt rushed or pushed into a purchase and left truly feeling we were given quality information to make a decision based on our needs. We're looking forward to taking classes here in the future.

My family and I did a custom training course at Valley Guns II's training center in Paw Paw, WV. The facility is beautiful and I love the rustic cabin themed decor.

The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I had never shot a gun before in my life and neither had most of my group. We were treated with patience and taught a lot about handling guns. It was cool to be able to shoot so many different styles of guns. I really like the AR-15 and the semi-auto .22 rifle.

I definitely plan to book more courses with Valley Guns II next time I am in the area. Great facility!

Fantastic place. All the staff are friendly and fairly knowledgeable. Didn't purchase anything at the shop, but had a look around. The selection is quite nice. Was able to take a tactical rifle class. Went about 35 minutes up the mountain. Great location, quiet, private, good sight lines out to over 500 yards. Instructors were helpful and somewhat critical without being judgemental. The whole class saw some improvement. The drills were beneficial, made you work a bit, but also really fun. Will be trying to come back again. Would highly recommend.

Recently purchased a matthews V3 X from Valley Guns. Everybody in the shop is very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Had to take bow back for some adjustments and some questions to be answered. The gentleman that worked with me was very kind very informational will definitely recommend for anybody else thank you for your great service.

This was my first firearm purchase and the guys at the shop could not have been more helpful. Firstly the shop was set up well. The guns were displayed clearly and the store was not intimidating. The employees were extremely helpful. I have no experience in guns and every person i spoke to took time to answer all my questions, and offer additional info on things i had not considered. In all i spoke with 3 employees, they were really busy (a good sign) and i still had my questions answered. They allowed me to test fire two different guns And discussed the differences between them. They also informed me about carry laws and the classes they offer.
Their prices were great. Not only was the gun they had cheaper than the same gun at another store, it was cheaper than the msrp from the distributor. They had cleaning kits and holsters, everything i needed. The sale was quick and easy, i filled out one sheet of paper and in 5 min it was done. In all I'd spent probably 2 hrs there and had a great time. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase or who wants to learn more about firearms.

Valley Guns Archery is a fantastic store/ shop. I would first like to thank Lee for working on and fixing my bow. It is now set up to perfection. He is a true professional.

I had previously taken my new bow to other places however I knew it wasn’t set up properly at either shop. A friend recommended Lee, so I drove the 1 1/2 hrs. I’m so happy I did. I was able to see first hand what was wrong and watched him take the time to make it perfect. That is very rare for most bow shops today.

I hadn't shopped at Valley Guns before so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a well equipped store with lots of variety and lots of expertise. The staff were very helpful in explaining features and benefits of comparable guns and when I honed in on one model, they allowed me to test fire a model in the shooting range to make sure it was comfortable for me. When I decided to purchase, they quickly gave for me a veteran's discount. Overall, I was very pleased and impressed and will not likely shop anywhere else in the tri-state area.

Stopped in looking for a new bow, the customer service was exceptional. Lee took the time to set up a few bows to allow me to compare the different brands. I probably spent an hour test shooting the bows. No pressure to hurry along the sale. Once I made my decision, Lee also took the time to paper tune and set the bow up. 2 weeks later, had Travis change the cams to a shorter draw length, again exceptional customer service and very helpful with technical information about the new bow. Both guys are top notch in the archery department. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a new bow to stop by.
