Dos Charros Tex mex

I had the spice combination fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp. It was fantastic. Shrimp were extra large for pieces and the chicken and beef cooked perfectly. Not overly "hot" spice leaving room for salsa but just right....and I like spicy. Had a margarita on the rocks..that was great and sweet tea. Not really any private to tables at all with the open layout but it didn't matter. Definitely going back.

We came by on our way through to our bee keeping clients and it was wonderful! My daughter the #16 combo with beef enchilada, a chicken enchilada and a beef taco. I got the spicy fajita plate which was enough to make 2 fajitas with caramelized onions served with guacamole, rice, beans, sour cream, and pico. All very tasy!!!! Not spicy at all. We tried the question and flan. Queso was lacking a tad in peppers and tomatoes but thT is my preference and the chips were warmed up which I love. The flan is made in house and is so delightful!!!! Creamy instead of grainy or gelatinous....I love this place and will be back!

Omg! The salsa was Divine. I had the Cancun. Shrimp & crab Chili Reallano & as shrimp n crab enchilada. Both were heavenly. We ordered some queso to go with the chips. It was delicious, but it didn't hold a candle to the salsa. The salsa was fresh, sweet, and with nice sized chunks of tomato and just the right blend of seasonings and herbs. The chili sauce on the reallano was a superd blen so that it complemented the seafood and not overpower it. They had a tequila lime sauce for the enchilada that again complimented the seafood, not overpowering it. The decor only gets 4 stars because it is very bright with flourescent lighting. Would have preferred it to be just a bit dimmer with some soft light with more of a yellow hue. Will 1 million percent reccomend it and 1million percent chance of going to eat there again. 👨‍🍳😘

We stopped in for a late lunch at this Emory, Texas Mexican restaurant. We were there a year or so and weren't impressed. This time... wow!
We had a terrific meal. Everything was fresh and hot, even at the end of the lunch crowd.
Waiter (manager?) Was perfect. Attentive without annoying, friendly. AND, the food was great.
We'll be back for sure.

This is a small restaurant with dedicated service. The experience we had was fabulous and the food was equally good.

Met our children 1/2 way for a birthday dinner. Party of 6 adults ....Chips & hot sauce had a great flavor & set the tone for the meal...3 chile rellenos (2 chicken, 1 beef), 2 carne asada, 1 chicken pechuga. Everything was delicious! 😃 My chile relleno was very flavorful & stuffed with fajita chicken. We would all go back again. Service was excellent, too. The only negative...the parking lot is too small for for the building and the potholes were huge! Circled several times before finding a spot and the kids parked down the road and walked back, even though there were tables available when we got inside. 🤷🏼‍♀

Great service and food. My favorite place to eat when we hit town. Going on 10 or so visits and plan on many more!

I've lived on Lake Fork for 4 years and been coming out here since 2014. I've eaten at nearly every Mexican food place around.. Mineola, Quitman, Greeneville,Sulphur Springs and Emory( not to mention an entire lifetime of Mexican food in DFW Where I moved from) This was our 1st visit and we won't be going anywhere else. Between 2 of us there were cheese enchiladas, a taco, rice and beans, combo fajita quesadillas and top shelf margaritas. Top to bottom they hit a homerun. I'm picky as hell about food..but they do it ALL to perfection.

Excellent food, great options, and friendly staff. Definitely try the spicy salsa.

Awsome food and very friendly service....for the location I would do a refresh on the decorations needs it but I understand the last 2 years as not been easy for any restaurants so I am very happy that you still going strong and dedicated. Keep the good work and always with love 😍

That's truly is some of the better Mexican food around. There are so many options these days but add this one to the list to try. I would recommend the fajita beef or chicken quesadillas as they are crispy and not soft and Soggy like many places. Overall, many excellent choices on the menu to choose from.

The food here is awesome. The people working here are even better. We come every week and are always happy with the service and food. The margaritas are wonderful.

Jimmy Buffet would be proud, the Margarita is Top Shelf, the service great, and this place is almost always busy, but they manage it well, never been disappointed with the food quality or quantity, if you find yourself in Rains County you should give the place a try!.

Came today on Black Friday. Our waiter was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely return.
