Great food. The all-you-can-eat catfish is well worth the drive, but definitely go hungry. The service is not only quick but very polite and welcoming. Hometown atmosphere, great people, and wonderful food!

Ordered takeout, the food was good and hot, portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the facility was clean and had a down-home feel to it. My husband and I both ordered the fish and shrimp plates with fries. The serving of fish was plenty there were 6 large pcs of shrimp and they were 2 bite shrimp done to perfection not heavily battered they had more of a panko breading which was perfect. Photos were taken after I had started eating😋

I've been to Deep South several times and have never had a bad experience. So far, we always order a combination of wings, burgers, and Pizza. Everything has been great! We try to get a specialty pizza whenever we go. The pickle pizza is amazing as well as the chicken bacon ranch.

We drove an hour and a half to try Deep South! It’s the only place around with an unlimited crab leg special (only on Saturdays). 4 people in our group did the crab legs while 2 others ordered off of the regular menu! The crab was tough to crack but it was fun and memorable! I’ll definitely be back but I’ll try something else on the menu next time. The crab was delicious but a lot of work! The crab special does include 2 sides! The fries were absolutely fantastic!

It was so good I got the ayce crablegs and it was fresh and steaming and the waitress was amazing. The crab was also like 45 dollars and it was fresh and hot.Also theres alot more that is good, ive tried it. Addison was so nice and helpful. Good service and food. Atmosphere is good but could be a little less America and beer stuff but it wasn't alot so it was still a good Atmosphere. Not to much not to little

Couldn't ask for better food, service, or atmosphere. We've started coming here about once a month for the burgers, fish, or pizza. All good!

We ordered online which made getting lunch super easy. Food was great and they had it done super fast.

All you can eat crablegs!!! It was a little pricey at $49 but you definitely get full! Will go again on next trip to Rend Lake for camping!

Fantastic food and service. We started out with BBQ nachos appetizer which were delicious. He ordered the Fox Fire burger and I ordered the Mushroom Swiss with a side of cheese curds. And I put some of those cheese curds on my burger like the Fox Fire already had. And it was sooo good. There were so many great options to choose from and you can bet we will be back to try them!

And our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Will have to visit again. Super clean restaurant, people was waiting to get in the door and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Heather, Jason, Me, my Mother and my two grandchildren had Deep South pizza tonight. It was very good and it had cauliflower crust. I have never had that before, so I had no clue what it would taste like? I really can not tell the difference. That's what I will have from now on.

The Mushroom Swiss on pretzel bun, fried chicken, drinks, ribeye steak, fries.... its all been so good so far! The waitresses are also so nice each time we went. Fast service. Helpful. Calm.

We drove from Evansville to try their all you can eat crab legs which was amazing my hubby had the steak it was perfectly seasoned our waitress was fantastic I didn't catch her name but she was a little blond like 5'0. Now a word of caution to anybody making the drive. They have seat yourself seating you don't have a check in you just stand in line. We watched two different groups rage quit while we were waiting because of this but definitely worth the wait just wish we knew how it worked beforehand.

This was our first time here. The ribeye steak was delicious and we had a really good waitress! This place was packed and we only had to wait a short time for a table. First come, first serve. Had to kind of laugh as we were getting ready to leave though. A small group comes in with their beers in hand....(smh). They couldn't wait a few minutes to order a pitcher of beer from the establishment? Oh well.... that's when you realize you're in the south! Food here was still great and we'll be back again!

One of the very best burgers I've had around Southern Illinois. You get to pick your temperature of the meat and it's delightful. Pulled pork is fantastic and comes sauced so if you don't like sauce 86 it when you order.

The best burger I have EVER had!!! We were traveling through on a work trip and the food is unbelievable!!!! Absolutely amazing! The service was great. We ended up going back within 24hrs because the food was so good we had to have it again before we left the area.

Was not sure what to expect since we had never been to Deep South, but a definite must is for sure. We drove 40 mins to eat here and was not disappointed. My husband got the all you can eat fish, I got The Grace (Chicken Sandwich) and 1/2 order of loaded fries and 1/2 order of nachos and every bit of it was awesome! We definitely recommend this place, and will be coming back in the future for our date night! Great food and friendly service!
