Marshall’s Barbecue Pit

We are in Emory Texas for the solar eclipse. We wanted to have our out of state friends try Texas bbq and Marshalls did not disappoint. The ribs were smoked perfectly and meat fell off the bone. The brisket and cheddar jalapeño sausage were excellent. The sides also matched the quality of their meats. We had the macaroni and cheese, fried okra. Jalapeño cream corn and bbq beans. The sides were all delicious and good size portions to share. I definitely recommend a stop at Marshall’s for a fantastic bbq experience. Bring your appetite.

The brisket is so tender, the BBQ sauce was sweet and spicy. My baked beans and potato salad was amazing. The beans are thick and full of flavor. The Hoss sandwich was delicious too. The banana pudding is fresh with fresh bananas. The prices aren't bad for what you get. Plus, they have a drive through. Highly recommend!

Great little restaurant!! BBQ is on point. Ribs come clean off the bone. Friday night steak & surf night, can cut that ribeye with a plastic knife & fork.

We are on vacation and more than one person told us we HAD to try Marshall's BBQ. We got there and pretty much tried almost everything they had. I can honestly say everything was delicious. The pulled pork was so flavorful, the brisket pulled about with a fork, and the sausage and just enough kick to it. I definitely can't wait to go back.

The food was great. I highly recommend the onion rings! Also, the Mailman Sandwich was really good and huge.

We were in town to fish at Lake Fork and came upon Marshall's Barbecue Pit while deciding on what to have for dinner. This family business is AWESOME!! They were so friendly and welcoming to us. We opted for the Marshall's Platter so we could have a taste of everything. Every single meat was sooooo good and the spicy bbq sauce was great on everything. The sides were excellent- the mac and cheese and cowboy beans were my favorite. Their bread pudding was the absolute best I've ever had. We really liked the hometown backyard picnic atmosphere. We will recommend Marshall's to anyone visiting the area and we will be back the next time we visit Lake Fork.

This place is amazing!!! We stopped by on our trip from Austin and we loved it! You never know with BBQ places. But this surpassed our greatest expectations. Very cute place, the owner obviously spent some time and money making it look like a nice BBQ place with a bit of modern to it (loved the fancy garage roll up windows).The customer service was excellent, friendly and happy to help us. But most importantly… the BRISKET! The SAUSAGE! My daughter got lean brisket and I specifically asked for fatty brisket. Both were amazing and moist. Beans had fantastic taste with just a little bit of kick to them. Even the toast was spectacular - not just the typical white piece of bread thrown down at some other BBQ joints. My husband had the sausage plate and he also was impressed. All 5 of us loved it. We will be back, if only we had one in town. See photo of my brisket plate.

This place is flat awesome. Wish I had taken better pictures. Best BBQ I've had in Texas and I've tried a lot of famous places. Can't brag on them enough. Brisket is as good as my own and I don't have to tend a smoker 18 hours, that's saying something. Best stuffed jalapenos I've had. Smoked jalapeno creamed corn is the bomb, and all the sides are good. It's a ten. Can't miss here 👍🏼

My Fiance and I absolutely love this place, they know our order everytime they see us come in, and know exactly what we want. We'll get the loaded fries, with no onions or jalapeños, but with either pulled pork or brisket, cheese, sourcream, ranch, BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ sauce. Love this place, the food, and their sweet tea is amazing. Definitely would recommend to anybody who likes a good BBQ Pit. I'd say they're definitely better than Soulmans BBQ! Last time we were there, Darnell a.k.a Chase made our loaded fries, and he did absolutely amazing. I would love it if next time we came in, if he could make our order! Thanks so much for the amazing food you have brought into emory, tx!

I moved out to the area from DFW… this was one of the best bbq joints I’ve ever been to!! Amazing meats. Great sides, and the sweet tea was even great. This will definitely be our go to for some awesome Texas BBQ!

At lake fork for eclipse. Hit Marshall's. Oh my! The pork belly bites. The parmesan potatoes. The jalapeño doohickes wrapped bacon. The ribs. The smoked Mac and cheese. Everything! Outstanding!

Damn good, pulled pork sandwiches 👏 reasonable prices for the large portions they give. Would definitely come back here and recommend it to others to try.

This place is excellent!! We stopped for dinner on our drive through Emory and am so glad we did. Great outdoor area, brisket is excellent, ribs fell off the bone, Mac n cheese and baked beans were delicious. Great family owned and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Passing thru and stopped off for drive thru... Amazingly wonderful... I got the Hoss sandwich, and it did not disappoint.. beans were excellent as well..

Tea was fresh. Mac and Cheese was delicious. The Brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, the texture was perfect, and the flavor of the natural smoke in the meat was right on point.

The BBQ sauce was an excellent compliment to the brisket. The spicy was a bit too hot for me but when I mixed it half and half with the regular sauce, it was perfect.

About the sauce, some places in Texas add liquid smoke to their sauce. I've never understood why they do this. To me, this destroys what could have been good BBQ. They DO NOT use liquid smoke at Marshall's.They let the natural smoke in the meat do that job.

Best spud with chopped beef I have ever had ever. Nice fenced area to hang out, kid friendly. Clean. Outdoor seating, covered.
