Path down was pretty steep but I thought coming back up was easier. Nice sandy beach and a great spot for my kids to swim.

Before you go, be ready for an intense hike. This is a beautiful location. Because of the short, but very strenuous hiking trail, there isn't too much traffic. Once down at the river, this makes for a beautiful swimming hole with a little beach for a picnic area. A great place to spend the afternoon with little to no interruptions. Not for beginners. The hike to the water wasn't bad going down, but going back up took effort. The dogs loved it! Very peaceful. I hate when people don't pack their trash out. A lot of empty beer cans lying about.

No view in summer unless you want to see tree tops.
