U-Haul Moving & Storage of Kingwood

My family had some urgent, last minute moving needs and we called up the U-Haul location here in Kingwood to see if they could help.
Felipe was our first point of contact and he verified before we arrived that they had the equipment we were inquiring about. When we arrived, the assistant manager, Ms. Melissa, took the time to understand what we were moving and made sure that we had everything INCLUDING the appliance dolly that we absolutely needed.
The whole transaction was smooth and everyone at the store was very considerate. If every move was this smooth, I wouldn’t dread them.
Thank you guys for being there for us at a time when we needed it and for taking an interest in what we were trying to get done… we couldn’t have accomplished it without you!

I had to write a review ! I rented a truck at Uhaul (cell phone place off Almeda Genoa 45 South - He gave me a key to the truck, and I had to guess which one it was there were several I put my key in several doors - I asked to rent the truck 2 days He didn't even get that right !!.... I dropped off the truck early at U Haul in Kingwood earlier than I had expected. I had a call from Dawn at the Kingwood location that I was scheduled to bring the truck back a day before. I was so mad because of the guy's mistake at the Uhaul off Almeda. Dawn was very calm and understanding. She was helpful and amazing! U-Haul Kingwood I will be returning to your location again and recommend others should as well. Thank you again for great customer service.

I rent the 6x12 utility trailer with ramp from here probably twice every month and the equipment is always top notch and in great working condition. The management here is always on point and willing to work with you to get you what you need to get the job done. James does a wonderful job of taking care of any qualms you may have as well as keeping everything running. I will continue to use this location and there equipment in the future as long as they keep doing what their doing now.

Don’t give a lot of five stars reviews but these guys deserve it. We brought a trailer back that was supposed to go to someplace far away and they were so nice about updating it so that we didn’t have to. Nicest people in the world keep it up!!

My fiancé and I have come here several time in the last few months for several types of rentals. This location runs like a well oiled machine. The guys here are on top of it, and really go out of their way to make customers feel welcomed and taken care of. They all deserve raises and promotions.

Melissa the Owner is AMAZING, she is a multitasking master. Not only did she help all her customers, she was patient and came up with a better way to assist me. I would absolutely recommend this U-Haul location. The office is well stocked with supplies (everything you need to move and then some) and the equipment is super clean. Thank you Melissa for your professionalism, kindness and care. I will never forget you. Your new forever customer.

Uhaul itself is absolute garbage. Because of another location’s mishaps and customer service’s lack of reimbursement, I’ll never go here again. However, Anthony Wilson and Courtney Redeaux run this entire location EFFORTLESSY. They are the reason why I’m not pursuing further action against uhaul. They were the ones who listened to me, and got me serviced. They were extremely professional and are running this location single-handedly. One of the staff members gave me wrong information, and I’m almost positive he didn’t even put my car in to check for parts when he told me they didn’t have them. Anthony went above and beyond and located the parts that I needed, and got them installed in a realistic amount of time. His work was fantastic. Courtney went above and beyond at the register and made sure I didn’t have to fork over another $500 and wait on a refund(a little over a grand). I told her I’d just pay again and wait on the refunds, but she worked her magic and was able to accommodate me. This store needs more employees like them, and I hope their higher ups appreciate and acknowledge their amazing workers. This review is based on those two people, not uhaul as a whole. Uhaul as a whole gets negative 5 stars.

There are also no elevators at this location. So if your unit is on the second floor, be prepared to lift.

Incredible service and kind people. They inspected a uhaul I had rented and prevented me from driving it because they found an eroded tire. They were there for us every step of the way to ensure we got a replacement. Can’t thank them enough

I have NEVER met nicer or more helpful people! They were THE absolute BEST! James was the first person I spoke with. His customer service was great and he is what brought me into the location. Melissa was there. She too was AMAZING! In fact, even the guys in the back were very impressive If I ever have any need to rent a truck or trailer in the Houston area again, this is where I will go. You should get your rentals from here even if the other guys are giving a lower quote. These people really take great care of you.

Melissa ALWAYS takes great care of us! It can get busy in there, but Melissa and the team do their best to accommodate everyone in a timely and efficient fashion. I choose this location, even though it’s a little further away, because of the service they provide.

Never have a been to a business where every single person I came in contact was so nice and professional. Wish I remember all of the names but Claude was amazing. So nice to have great customer service in this day and age. Amazing

The staff is extremely friendly, Ashley helped me with moving and storage and i must say she made my move a little less stressful even though there were a few hiccups along the way. The only drawback is the wait time, they do their best to provide everyone with the same level of care but with the limited staff it makes the wait in line a little long.

Great service!!! Young lady that checked me in was amazing. When I dropped the truck off, there were no spots to park the truck so I had to park in front of the building. Not ideal but not U-Haul's fault.

Ms. Ann and Eric at Kingwood Uhaul made a stressful time a smidge easier with a seamless rental experience. Clean, convenient, and tons of inventory. Ms. Ann super kind. Will definitely be back to this location should the need arise! 5 stars for sure!!!

The rental process was a little difficult, but this was my own fault. I needed my uhaul dropped at a different location, and they were able to help me out, no problem. Super friendly, and helpful staff. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.

I hauled two cars different days and needed a trailer for both. First car I also needed a pickup and auto transport. Mrs. Ann, Ashley, Check out/in folks and everyone that helped me with every part 100%. I got a truck next morning on a Sunday that was clean and ran perfect. The auto transport is a great trailer with its brake system you dont even have to worry about load shift etc. The truck pulled great. The people hooked up the trailers both times and both the auto transport and car dolly were awesome. no prob bob. I would give this store a 10 out of 5 if i could. I hate to hear how bad people(customers) or humanity can be toward the rental stuff because for me.. the price, the great friendly service on point and affordable.. convienience is a blessing. Every single person there was knowledgeable and 10+ helpful I will probably only rent from this location, if not I will certainly #1 preferred. I hope this doesnt mess up my chance at renting a trailer.. jk they have like 30+ and youre off FAVORITE U_HAUL

The hitch pro guy was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I think his name is Anthony, I highly recommend him for your trailer needs.

I absolutely love this location and the customer service is always amazing. The lady Shelly goes above and beyond for you in every way!
Although it takes a lil longer than expected sometimes it’s always worth the wait!!
