This clinic is filled with the most loving and caring people you could ever meet. I am so thankful that I got to say goodbye to my childhood pet in this environment. This review is probably one of the hardest things I have had to write because I felt and still feel my baby’s loss so immensely, but I knew I needed to write it. They got me in the same day as I was very distraught over my fur baby. The vet never pushed me to do something I didn’t want to do, but just gave me the options and facts. The vet tech was also so sweet the whole way through and hugged me at the end, which I needed more than anything. I knew before entering the clinic what was best for my dog but without their support I genuinely don’t think I would’ve been able to do the humane thing. I highly recommend this vet.

I don’t know if I can even find the words to express my gratitude for the staff at South Meadow Animal Clinic. We brought our dog in for an unexpected emergency surgery and we weren’t sure if she was going to make it. The staff at this clinic worked diligently on our dog and we’re happy that she’s now recovering. We appreciated the clinic staying in constant contact with us to give us updates. They went above and beyond and I’d highly recommend South Meadow Animal Clinic for anyone’s pet care needs.

Dr Keys and her staff were wonderful with my semi-feral momma cat and her three 6 week old kittens! They were genuinely concerned and thorough, handling momma beautifully. I will be returning to this veterinarian!

There are no words to describe how much we love South Meadow. We brought our mini schnauzer Bleu here to get his ears cropped and from the first visit we knew we had come to the right place. The staff is amazing and Dr.Mayes is unbelievably awesome. They always explain everything with so much detail and answer any and every question we may have. We live in Dallas and we definitely do not mind making the 45 min drive to take our fur baby for his check ups/vaccines/etc because we know he is in great hands and have peace of mind knowing that everyone there will treat him as if he was their baby.

I have been bringing my dogs to South Meadow Animal Clinic since 2003, and have been so satisfied with the warm greetings, the not too long waiting (sometimes lol) the great treatment from Dr. Mayes and his staff. I use the clinic for boarding my dogs, and never worry when they are there. The clinic has also been very compassionate in sad times, when I've had to let my dogs go. I would recommend South Meadow Clinic to anyone who wants the best treatment for their pets.

We got our very first Doberman Alpha and it was scary to start fresh with a vet outside our area but the results and the service were unmatched! The vet was super flexible given that we were 2 hours away and all of our visits worked with our schedule. The crop was exactly what we wanted (show crop) and we get tonssss of compliments on my her ears. The overall healing process was great. We are so thankful for this vet and all of the staff. Would highly recommend!!!

South Meadow Animal Clinic preformed a wonderful ear cropping procedure on my pocket American Bully! Healing and aftercare was at their top priority. Style shown is a show crop with a slight curve.

I took my sweet Batty there and the staff was so sweet to her while she was sick. It was her first time there. Dr. Mayes and his staff took such great care of her. She had to receive antibiotics and fluids through an IV, when I picked her up, they went over everything with me, let me review Barry’s X-rays, let me question why she needed anything and answered so patiently. They never pushed for me to do anything I wasn’t okay with. All of my animals will go here.

We came to South Meadow Animal Clinic for the first time last year. We were able to get the necessary care for our precious Sandy. She was a recurring patient because of her condition. She was always treated with loving kindness. Dr.Mayes is knowledgeable and was friendly and helpful in the treatment of Sandy.

Very nice and good place to spate, my decision to spate it was not 100pct they didn't force me they give me all the time till I decided to go on and do it. Nice place but I didn't like the plastic cone she was very uncomfortable I bought another one so she could be comfortable I got a donut cone and she was OK. 🥰

I have never given a review for anything! BUT this place is SO AWESOME that i just have to give one! The staff is absolutely caring, our baby Snowball received excellent care on her minor ear infection + vacc., she was handled with great patience thorough everything and the pricing was very reasonable. (BONUS) We even received a thoughtful thank you card signed by staff! I recommend this place for all fur parents out there if your looking for a place that truly cares for the well being of your babies.

I had a really good experience for my pet here. I wanted to have an international travel certificate for my pet to travel to India. They made it so easy. The doctor and the staff are competent and friendly. Getting the appointment was easy as well unlike other vet clinics.

South Meadow animal clinic in Ft Worth, is the best vets I have ever experienced. Dr Key saved my Golden Doodle, she never gave up on her. There staff is so caring and kind.

Staff is very friendly and are good to explain everything that is going to take place. My dog has never had to be sedated, unlike other vet clinics.

What an amazing place!!! My husband and I have taken our 3 dogs (Rosie, Bear, KayD) here for a few years and we love it!  The staff pay attention to detail and go above and beyond to make sure our pups feel loved and are well taken care of.  They are always so friendly, patient, and thorough. We are so grateful to have found them!

I used this vet office for ear cropping on my doberman back in January i have never had a dogs ears done i have to say this vet did an awesome job i appreciate it very much the staff was very nice with each visit we made I attached pictures of Loki from the beginning until now 🥰

This clinic has been incredibly helpful and has been taking care of my little dog with heart failure. I am here frequently and both Les Mays and Carolyn Keys are excellent! They are happy to explain things in the appointment and really show that they care about my dogs!

At the front desk, Alyssa and Tammy always make me feel so welcome and help me refill my dog’s prescriptions promptly. They are upfront about the costs of all meds/treatments before we commit to anything and have a good way of navigating that without making me feel pressured about anything.

I love this warm clinic and trust their exceptional staff!

Best Vet clinic I have taken my dog to. I don't know where to begin, I've received amazing care and service at every visit. I brought my 3 month old doberman pup to get his ears trimmed at this clinic. I did a lot of research of other clinics that provided this procedure before choosing this one. I am beyond please with the way they took care of my puppy and with the results. They fully explained the procedure before and after. Dr. Las Mayes pays attention to every detail about your pet. One of the visits he noticed that he had a runie nose with colored mucus and prescribed medication that took care of it right away. The whole staff is absolutely attentive, caring, kind, knowledgeable and professional. They always answer the phone and will call you back if you have questions they were not able to answer at the time. The clinic is very clean and organized. They send you reminders of upcoming shots and follow ups. I also live 1hr away but the care my dog and I received is well worth the drive. Your pet will receive the best care here!

I'll always recommend South Meadow Animal Clinic. Dr. Mayes and the staff will take the time needed to truly care for your pets and never rush you or make you feel like the time spent with you/your pet isn't valuable. The level of care is fantastic. The clinic itself is always clean and smells great. The staff is consistently friendly and professional. I don't trust my pets with anyone else!
