I just wanted to share my recent experience with shopping for car insurance. I went to TDECU last year to see if they could save me any money on my car insurance and they did. I recently got a notice that my policy was getting ready to expire and to let them know if I would like them to shop around again and see if they can get me a better deal.
I notified TDECU that I was interested in seeing what they could find. I received an email from Sadie Tischler with the quotes she was able to come up with. After talking with her and letting her explain the differences I was at ease on my car insurance selection. She was a delight to talk with and I would definitely recommend Sadie and TDECU if you want to get some insurance quotes.

I had been with USAA for many years, but decided it was time for a change. From my first contact with TDECU Ms. Jessika Zaragoza has been a true professional. I let her know what I was looking for and the timeline I was working with. She worked more than above and beyond to find the best prices on homeowner, vehicle, and flood quotes. She is kind spirited and a hard worker even getting back to me after hours. If possible I would give Jessika a 10 out of 10.

I have my homeowner/flood/windstorm insurance through TDECU, but noticed after my last renewals that I didn't have copies of the actual policies for homeowner's and flood. Sadie Tischler did a great job of contacting the respective companies and sending me the missing info promptly!

It seems as though TDECU has gone downhill. My first 6 months were fine. I could reach an agent directly and easily. Now 2.5 years later its the run around. An office manager said I was rude when I had not sworn, nor had I called anyone a single name. I simply stated it sounded as though they were incompetent and if they were not trained as they stated why were they working my account! Everyone is always at lunch or on break or put of office. The person you need is never reachable and the insurance company they put in cany assist you. Brian is very rude believing he is superior takes a tone with you and calls you names. Stating "you are a very perturbed" individual. Absolute customer experience I have ever had in insurance.

I was hoping that TDECU Insurance would be a great switch since I generally like the banking service, but getting a quote wasn't even possible. I tried calling the number they sent me in an email and it was to an automated line, when I found the extension of the person I was supposed to talk to they weren't even in the office. I tried calling the main office a few days later and someone said they couldn't give me a quote because I was already assigned someone to give me a quote, they gave me his direct number, but when I asked if he was available they said he was on lunch break but would be back in 10min, so I called the number provided after that time and they still didn't answer. I tired calling the main office again to see if I could just have someone else do a quote for me real quick and they didn't answer either. It's kind of a bummer, but I wasn't in any rush to switch insurance providers, I just hope people know that it might be a hassle trying to get a quote.
