Awesome place. I could get lost here for hours looking at records. I just moved here from Florida and the only place I had to buy records was Walmart or Target. We did not have a single record shop in our area. Very cool record shop. They also have CD's and cassettes. Picked up a classic Styx album while I was there. They also have new releases.

Satellite records, where do I begin! Is the best service around! Everybody that works here is extremely nice and knowledgeable on various different genres of music and is more than willing to help you out if there is a copy of something that you were trying to locate. I’ve been a customer there for many years now and there is truly no other record store. I would shop with as their selection covers, such a wide variety of genres from hard to find underground hip-hop to original pressings of cult, classic rock albums. They truly have it all. If you are ever driving by Kalamazoo or are in town, this is a must have on your to do list.

I was there nearly an hour and barely scratched the surface of their selection. They have a huge bargain section with great prices, and they were friendly and helpful to all the customers who came in. I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome, eclectic, vintage and rare records, tapes and CDs. The manager, Bunny, is a goddamn treasure. Don't miss the Thursday open mic at 5:30.

What a great find and a great way to spend an hour or so sorting thru records, cassettes and CDs. The staff is very friendly and they have a lot of merchandise. I sold them so of my jazz and rock albums. Very happy with the price

I love this place! My partner loves vinyl and they have so many records. With new material coming in all the time, trips to Satellite Records are always part of a fun day out in Kalamazoo.

I was on vacation and decided to stop into this store just to see what they had. beautiful shop and mike is absolutely amazing! he was super helpful and knowledgeable, recommending places to check out in the area, and they happened to have a record I’ve been dying to own for ages, which I bought with the quickness. highly recommend this place and will be back next time I’m around for sure!

I walked in there for the first time going and almost immediately found the record I've been looking for AND 3 other ones that I also like. They have it all and super affordable too!! Best record store ever!

My man Mike at Satellite is the man when it comes to paying fair prices for used vinyl such as the many golden era classics I have sold to the store. Mike also has a talent for finding the exact records I want many of which come from boutique labels meaning rare and hard to find. I'm not sure how he does it, but he does. Best record store for hip hop I've ever been to other than Fat Beats in NYC back in the 90s

Burger. Fries. Vinyl. Those are the three most important things to me. I don't buy the first two at Satellite Records. But I do buy a lot of vinyl from them. Always top-notch customer service and quick shipping. Plus, they have a great selection of hip hop. You'll be hard pressed to find another indie record store with this caliber of underground rap. Maybe one day they'll start selling burgers and fries, and then I can buy everything I need in one place.

This place is awesome the nostalgia here is off the hook.
The customers that seem to come in are just as awesome nice selection of old vinyl oh and the cassette wall made me feel like I was 15 standing at boogie records again.

Hundreds and hundreds of used albums, and wide selection of new. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff with just the right amount of aloofness to remind you that you don't know as much about vinyl as you thought you did. Great place to spend money and time. Those two things don't always go together.

A fantastic variety of records, new and old, as well as cleaning materials for the upkeep of a vinyl collection and record players. Their prices aren't bad, the feel of the store is very nice, and the staff I've encountered know what they're doing and can provide additional needed information.

Once again a fantastic experience! The selection is terrific with all types of albums from bubble gum pop to the truly bizarre. The staff has always be helpful and always wllling to hold something till I can pick it up. I highly recommend and assure you can't go wrong buying here!

I have been to quiet a few record stores and I feel quiet fortunate to have Satellite Records so close by. They keep a great selection of new releases and older used vinyl. The staff are well versed in multiple genres and are a great resource for finding new music. What is even more helpful is their knowledge of Audio Equipment. In the past I had a problem connecting my turntable to some studio monitors I had lying around the house. They suggested a connection and it ended up working and solving my problem and saving me from buying more speakers. If you are looking for a record store to go to choose this one!
