La Plaza Food

The food was great! Everything was fresh, delicious and the service was great, with a real feeling of at home values, even the other guests in the restaurant were very welcoming and social. We highly recommend this spot and will definitely be returning soon!

The service is fast. The atmosphere is friendly. You can order to go or to dine in. The food is great. Breakfast taco can come in a flour or corn tortilla.The pancakes are nice and fluffy. You won't be disappointed if when you eat here.

The first time we went there we did not really expect much. We went for breakfast and now we are hooked. The menu is written in Spanish with English sub titles with lends it's self to the authentic Mexican leanings. Everything is served with refried beans an tortilla's

I love the pork chops and eggs! As for toast in lieu of tortillas, not sure what they do to them but it is like crack you alway come back!

Best food I've had in a long time. I got the chicken fajitas and they were cooked to perfection. My husband got the steak quesadilla and it was absolutely amazing. This spot is the go to for people working at the plant.

The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to serve at the highest level. The breakfast tacos are a hit in the local refineries!

My buddy found this little gem online. They open at three thirty in the morning and close at seven in the evening. The barbacoa, chorizo/eggs and beans, and potatoes and eggs on freshly made tortillas are all delicious. Waitresses were extremely helpful and nice. I also noticed that they have a lot of people who work at the plants that come in. They are extremely attentive to their regulars because the staff was one step ahead of them and had their order ready before they even asked. If you have a chance you have to go by there and try it out.

Absolutely excellent food excellent service these ladies make some really good Mexican food.

They have a food truck that comes to marathon everyday. I get lunch from their food truck Atleast once a week. Staff is always super sweet and the food is good!!

Small restaurant family owned. We stopped for breakfast. We both got omelets they had everything in them, and they would stop again if in the area.

I ordered breakfast takeout this morning for the first time from la plaza. I walked in and the smell of the place was so wonderful! I was greeted as soon as I stepped in by the smiling cashier. I ordered the pork chop plate with eggs beans, i ordered pancakes and a fajita burrito with potatoes cheese and tortillas. Long story short I got home and my food was just right. It was hot it was tasty all of my condiments and napkins were there and I ordered breakfast for 3 people and it was under $20. I will be back!!!

Got 6 breakfast tacos, added cheese, a stack of pancakes and a Mexican coke for $20 bux. We just moved back to the area from up north, and it’s safe to say we will be frequenting this place. The homemade tortillas and the prices are way too good to pass up. Looking forward to trying lunch/dinner sometime soon.

Dropped my wife off at Valero, and sought after another spot to eat breakfast, but turned around and head back to LA Plaza Food, when I saw the Local Sheriff's & Constable parked. In Texas, if you see the law enforcement parked and eating inside, it's the BEST SPOT IN TOWN!! The food definitely was all I expected and some. French Toast 3 Slices with three eggs over easy, bacon was thicker than a snicker!! The waitress, I could tell has been a staple for over 5yrs. She is still smiling and providing personal-professional first class service.

Yes, highly recommend and have a seat to eat too... It's a small boutique space but the Take-out people just disrupt the peace. It is a sit down and total chill. They had fresh squeezed jamaica juice.

Went there for lunch today. Grilled Tilapia was seared to perfection and the seasoning was amazing. The green salsa is excellent and tasted great in the fish tacos and with the well-seasoned french fries.

The owner was very nice and came out to speak with each of the diners.

This was a great find and I definitely plan to return to try out the rest of the menu.

Meals are moderately priced...everything was pretty much under $10 with a few exceptions.
