The Pharm Restaurant

This place is awesome. The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Michelle, our waitress, was awesome. Please go here and tip them well. They earned a 5 Star from me. My wife loved it too.

I led a group of motorcycle riders down here as we chase chicken fried steak. We came from the Dallas-Fort Worth area which isn't really far by motorcycles standards. I already knew what I was having the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. Gravy on the side. This chicken fried steak without the gravy was very flavorful and moist and fresh. It was better for me to cut and then dip in the gravy. That's how I like to eat it. Green beans were very good, warm and tasty. French fries were average french fries, not as good as McDonald's french fries, but they were okay. But the peach cobbler and the blue bell vanilla ice cream was out of this world. Perfection will be back.

Great small town feel. Friendly service and family atmosphere. This place felt like home and the food tasted great.

Just a great small town restaurant! Great feel, obviously a family favorite, warm and friendly staff… but it can’t be a good restaurant without good food and they got that too! I started with calf fries with white gravy - decent, maybe a little overcooked but I didn’t leave any on the plate if that tells you something. I wanted the pork chop but it was later in the evening and they were out - so next time. When talking about it at work the word was all there steaks are good! I opted instead for the Millers Sausage which was very good but the onion rings, oh my goodness the were some of the best I’ve ever had! So if you’re driving along I-45 between Dallas and Houston and you might be ready to eat, the Pharm just of the highway in Buffalo is not going to disappoint!

Usually we always stop at buccees. This time we decided to try some place new. The Pharm was pretty highly rated. The decor is fantastic. Plenty to observe and done in good taste. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The place was super clean especially the restrooms. The food servings were texas sized and the prices are reasonable. The peach cobbler was exquisite. One of the best I have ever had. Our coffee was barely luke warm though but other than that everything was spot on. While we were here the patrons apparently all knew each other. A few were pretty friendly and engaged in small talk as well. We would likely be stopping here from now on

My wife and I just had another great experience while dining in at the Pharm. Tammy was our server and she did not disappoint. She had us smiling from ear to ear with her contagious smile. The food and service was just as good!

They need to update their website because they have increased their prices on their steaks. Popped in here on the way home, ordered a steak sandwich, large chicken fried steak and a kids hamburger. The Sammie was good, and the bread was so soft it was unreal. Chicken friend steak was one of the best I’ve had with the gravy. Also the fries in the kids meal were a unique twist on a staple piece. Great ranch dressing. What wasn’t to love? It’s quaint small town charm is evident soon as you step in to the folk that frequent there and work there.

We got there early so we didn't have to wait for a table. But they did fill up really quick. I really liked this place. Friendly and fast service but didn't rush us. Margaritas was really good and they have a full bar. Crawfish queso was awesome. I had the Filet and it was the best steak in this area. My husband also had a steak, and was also very impressed.
Live music, yes Live music was a very nice touch. The young man had a really good voice for country music. Definitely will be back.

Really fantastic fare. Big town taste in a small town diner. Catfish was fresh, nicely seasoned, and fried. Orka is always a must with fried fish and the sweet tea was perfect. Wasn't thrilled with the cole slaw, but it didn't diminish the experience. I'll be back when I'm in town for the steak that comes highly recommended.

A favorite dinner stop of ours when traveling i45. Great catfish, steaks, salad and adult drinks with plenty of other options. It's a small town feel and the staff couldn't be more friendly. Rude travelers and snobs skip it, we like it the way it is.

I would highly recommend The Pharm Restaurant to anyone while traveling up or down interstate 45 passing through Buffalo TX looking for good food to make a stop. Just 2 miles of the interstate on the left you will thank me later.

What a great find in Buffalo Texas! The restaurant staff is so friendly and funny! I really enjoyed the grilled chicken plate, the chicken fried steak, the Jr cheeseburger, the fries, and the catfish. This is our local favorite and we'll be back soon!

First time here and loved it. Clean place, friendly staff, and great food. The only problem you'll have is deciding what to get. It's all great.

The food were delicious. That time, there was a live band. It was nice, cozy and the service was awesome. I like it.

We stopped here along our way down to Conroe, sat right down during the busy lunch rush. Wait staff was plentiful and polite. Great decor, clean facilities, and the food was STELLAR!! 10/10 would stop again.

I absolutely love this restaurant; it's incredibly unique. I was especially pleased with the service from Mitchell. The Hamburger Steak was excellent, and the sweet potato and coleslaw were fantastic!

As soon as you walk in the door, they make you feel like you’re part of the family. they have amazing steaks and sides. Would highly recommend eating here.

The Pharm was delicious!!! If you're traveling on 79 between Austin and Tyler or on 45 between Houston and Dallas, stop here in Buffalo and enjoy!!!

Everything was delicious. Bread pudding was awesome. Great ladies took care of all our needs. Will be going back.

We stopped here today for lunch and it was just has good this time as last. The shell on the taco salad was so thin and flaky. It was the best I have ever had.
We were on our way home from vacation and after going through 14 states, we stopped here. The food here was the best we had in the whole two weeks we were gone. My husband had the chicken fried steak and couldn’t eat it all. It was delicious. I had the grilled tilapia, it was fantastic. Their blackberry cobbler was yum yum. Will absolutely be going back to this place soon. The staff was friendly and made you feel at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
