Epitome of Southern Americana! Excellent breakfast! Fast, friendly service! The waitress was a one man band, and is a hard worker! I've lived here over 30 years, I had heard about this place but never had breakfast here. I'll definitely be back with friends.

Thank you for the reply your restaurant was great my family and I went to have dinner before church and I can say I have no complaints. The food was delicious the little Bible verses on the wall and it was reasonably priced to feed my family of 5! I will definitely be back time again.

The Doodle is an iconic Cookeville "meat and three," known for delicious burgers and pies. We finally got to try it today for the first time. We had the burgers on Texas toast with fries (so good).
What really impressed us was how very quickly our fresh cooked food came out. The waitress was attentive without hovering.
The building is nice and clean. Very basic decor, but it is spacious and there is an old-style lunch counter.
Prices were very good.
We will go back!

How this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating, I will never know. We were driving through and thought we would try it. We both ordered giant cheeseburgers and let me tell you, this is the best burger ever!! The meat is perfectly seasoned, the bun was perfect. I ordered bacon on mine and the bacon was CRISPY and perfect!! So delicious. The food was HOT also, literally had to let it cook down. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the coconut pie and it was delicious!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was our first time going there since the new owners took over. Everything was good. Food, restaurant, service. We had breakfast so we'll have to come back and try lunch.

The new name will take some getting used to, but not the improvements!
Nice interior, great menu options, and reasonable prices are always welcome changes!
We entered the establishment as they were closing but we had no idea. They were kind enough to say nothing about it, and served us anyway.
The food was excellent & the staff super friendly.

Ate here with the wife for the first time today for breakfast and I must say the quality of the food doesn't match the price you pay. The food was absolutely amazing and between the 2 of us only paid $14. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was nice and quaint. Definitely recommend stopping by.

There was 3 of us for breakfast and we all loved it. Plenty of good food and the price was right. Loved the looks of the restaurant inside and out. We will be back.

I just wanted dinner food. This totally hit the spot! The burger was delicious. Hubby said the livers were too dry, though. 🥺

All you can eat catfish was pretty good. Friendly staff reasonably priced. Sit where you want inside and quiet.

Awesome! Catfish dinner served hot and delicious. Then I was informed dessert COCONUT CREAM PIE!!!! OH me, mmmmmm good. Definitely recommend give it try!!!!!

New owners, breakfast is fantastic at an affordable price. The vegetable omelet is excellent and service is attentive. We will definitely be back.

Wow food was excellent, took my cousins from Ohio there and they loved it, best cat fish ever.

Had the roast beef this time, mashed potatos and brocolli with cheese, it was really good.
