Ross Creek Landing Golf Course

This course truly is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable, the greens fees are an excellent value.

The Jack Nicklaus course design is challenging, but also getable in places. Each hole plays differently. You won't get bored thinking your way around this course. Lots of elevation change, uneven lies, and shots to elevated greens. I hit some long bombs on the fairways that featured a downhill slope.

Some other Tennessee golf courses get a lot of fanfare and hoopla, but this could be the best in the state.

It's definitely worth a weekend road trip from the Nashville or Memphis area. They have rental cabins on site, and there are also plenty of Airbnb options in the area. Pickwick Lake State Park is about a 35 minute drive.

Greens, layout, fairways, and overall design where amazing. Bunkers had no sand though. This an extremely tough course, and if you don’t hit the fairway kiss it goodbye. Other than super nice and would play again.

Great course designed by Nicklaus, challenging at just the right level and well maintained. The clubhouse is very nice. The staff is very courteous, friendly, and personable. A wonderful facility. I just wish I lived closer so I could play it more!

Absolutely gorgeous course. The greens, tees, and fairways are in excellent shape. The course is challenging but fair. Great price, clean and wonderful staff. Played the course 3 times since they reopened 2 years ago. Every time I'm in the area I make plans to challenge myself on this golf course.

Beautiful course!! Although this course is challenging, it is must for golfers of all skill levels! The course is well maintained and the scenery is stunning. I was shocked by the amazing rates that this course offers. I was able to play 18 holes for only $35. The cottages are beautifully decorated and offer a homey yet glamorous feel. I would definitely recommend playing and staying at this course!!

This is an awesome golf course! The guys I play golf with & I drive over an hour from Alabama to play this course on a regular basis. The golf course has a beautiful layout & it is very fun & challenging to play. The course is in excellent shape & we have added Ross Creek Landing to our year round regular play golf courses! The pro shop staff is very nice & helpful. Call & set up a tee time because you won’t regret playing this golf course! After you play the course tell your friends, family, co-workers & neighbors about Ross Creek Landing because word of mouth is the best advertising for a golf course!

Took our 6 sons and 1 nephew for a weekend of golf. We all fell in love with this course. Course was exceptional considering we’re just coming out of the winter months. Staff was super nice and accommodating. I highly recommend taking a beautiful drive in the country to a wonderful golf experience.

Absolutely had a blast playing this course! Tees lush, almost immaculate. Fairways were in superior condition. Bunkers and rough in great condition. Greens roll fast, again, great condition. The scenery was spectacular. The course is beautiful, yet intimidating. Cottages are very clean and comfortable. With no hesitation this is a 5 star review and a must go for all golfers of any skill level.

So glad this golf course is open as of October 17, 2020! It's definitely the best layout in TN. Championship Bermuda greens were installed August of 2020. I was highly impressed of how good they rolled to be two months old. You won't find a better layout for the price of $40 on the weekend and $35 during the week. If it's your first time to play the course, make sure you play the forward tees. Also, great cheeseburger at the turn or for lunch in general.

Used to be one of the best public courses in the state. Was left for dead but has been brought back

Playing the back nine today and it was obvious why it was once so well thought of. Front is good not great but the back is absolutely beautiful

I wish I had a larger voice. The type of voice and reach that radio stations and television commercials have. The ability to reach a lot of people. The people I'd want to reach? Golfers. The ones that, probably even as I'm posting this, are playing some mediocre course. Why the heck are you wasting your time and money when an awesome course like Ross Creek Landing is waiting for you, just a short drive away. Look up "hidden gem" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of Ross Creek. This Jack Nicklaus Signature course is an awesome layout. And supported by an awesome staff (thanks, Jan and Sarah, for your hospitality yesterday!) And the price? Only $35-40 to play a world-class layout. Are you kidding me? Uh, tell me why you haven't already booked a tee time? And, no, I don't work there. I just recognize good golf and good people. ⛳⛳

Played on opening day October 17, 2020, Excellent Course and very challenging. Make sure to bring plenty of golf balls. Our group of four lost 45 balls. Great hamburgers, Hot dogs and Cold Beer. So Happy they reopened this course in Clifton, TN. Highly Recommend playing this course.

The course is so well laid out. The natural beauty can be distracting it is so gorgeous. Then, the game of golf is a true ball strikers challenge. Bring your A game. Championship calibre course.

Great course!! Staff was extremely helpful. 1st round was tough but you learn the hazards and where to play off the tee. 2nd and 3rd round was a much better score. Well worth the trip!!!!

What a course! Thank you for re-opening this beautiful Jack Nicklaus classic in Clifton. Tee to green, everything was in great condition. Wonderful views on almost every hole. Well worth the drive and I'll be back soon for another round.

Surprisingly very nice shape except for the sand traps In need of some attention.

Greatest course I’ve ever played, beautiful scenery and they got best people working in the clubhouse. Loved every second I was out there and the cottages are very nice and homey. Worth the visit.

Played in courses all over Tennessee and I have to say this is the most intricate and challenging course this great state has to offer. Awesome course, great scenery, will be back again soon

Loved the course, challenging, after playing 18 we played another 18. Definitely one of the best I have played in TN.
