Their pulled pork BBQ sandwich, beans, slaw, and hot BBQ sauce is amazing!!! Highly recommended!
PS..A month later…I couldn’t resist going back! Had the same thing—pulled pork bbq plate (piled high!) with beans and slaw. Just as amazing!! Yes, I do recommend ordering the extra 4oz cup of hot BBQ sauce!

Absolutely amazing pulled pork. Honestly melts in your mouth! BBQ bologna was also wonderful.
Only complaint is the slaw tasted like it was store bought instead of homemade.
Overall, awesome food and service!

This right here is some of the BEST bbq I have EVER had! I ate all of my food before I even thought of taking a picture... Absolutely worth the stop, go out of your way to eat here if you have to. The chicken is out of this world, it might even make you slap ya mama.. proceed with caution.

Do not be put off by the sketchy appearance of the building. Sam has a saying ",If it ain't wood it's no good". Well his stuff is definitely good with the wood. Some of the best BBQ you will ever have in your life. Nice tangy vinegar sauce. Bbq is slow cooked to perfection. I had baked beans and potato salad with mine and when I tell you it taste as good as Big Momma growing up I mean that. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

They open at 10am and at 12:30pm they were already out of ribs. I ordered a couple slabs for tommorow. If they are half as good as the pulled pork they will be a hit.

I can not get enough of the bbq fries but everything is great and some of the best pies I've ever had.

They have the best food. The potato salad reminds me of my aunt who passed away and I almost cried when I ate it. The baked potatoes are amazing and you will instantly get sleepy after eating it.

Went there today for the first time it was fantastic the best pulled pork and baby back ribs I have had on Tennessee so far. Chess pie was really good also. We will definitely be back😊

Best BBQ around! I highly recommend the pulled pork, you can buy it by the pound. Absolutely, my favorite. This ranks an A+++++ on my list!

The people that work there are super nice. I live in Ohio and my dad lives there in Humboldt. He can't drive anymore and really enjoys good bar b que. One of the lovely ladies delivered my dad a bounty of food...more than he can eat. Good thing he has a freezer.

OMG it was off the chain!! DELICIOUS!!! The best BBQ ever. The baby back ribs, the meat was so tender the meat just fell off the bone..Awesome atmosphere and very clean. The owner/staff are very friendly make you feel welcome. Bought a sweet potato pie it also was delicious. Highly recommended this business.

Wow! It was beyond fantastic. The absolute best pulled pork, potatoes salad, baked beans and green beans ever. We will definitely go back. Friendly. Good service clean social distance and sanitizer fir you to use upon entry and mask requirement. They wore them properly too.

Stopped here yesterday for lunch & had the catfish platter & catfish sandwich. Picked fries & white beans as sides, crinkle cut are my fav & they were good, but the white beans were outstanding! They we're a bit sweet, just delicious! We'll be back!

This place never disappoints! BBQ is great! The baked beans, potato salad and greens beans are so good!! But the best thing they have imo is the chess pie!! It was just out the oven today and was sooo good!!! I could seriously eat a whole pie its that good lol 😆 Their pecan pie is amazing is amazing as well! Going to try their buttermilk pie next time! 😋😋😋

Oh my goodness. This place is fantastic. Super busy but the service was still great. The brisket and pork was fantastic and my son and I enjoyed their baked beans. Priced good, too.

It looks like a hole in the wall kinda place, but don't be fooled, the staff are very friendly and the food is outstanding. Wonderful barbecue cooked over hardwood, not charcoal. If in Humboldt, don't miss it. If not, it's still worth the drive.

I've sampled Memphis, Tuscaloosa, and Charlotte, but Sam's is the best I've ever had! From first bite to last, the flavor of the pulled pork is consistent and outstanding even before the sauce is added - and that's some good sauce! But my favorite is the baby back ribs - almost falling off the bone tender- and the taste is finger licking good!

Don't let the building fool you the food is great! Working out of town, it's nice having a meal that feels home cooked! They were very fast when it came to turning my food over and the service was personable.
