Great facilities, clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower to clean off after a day on the river. Mr Bones goes above & beyond to assist in an enjoyable experience. We rented the deluxe kayaks for our older backs as it really made the float comfortable. The river is cold and the water flows steadily for an easy float. Camping was nice with such beautiful sunsets reflecting off the water. Thank you Mr & Mrs Bones for sharing your treasure with others.

My Girlfriend and I went on the 5 mile trip on Memorial Day, and man we had an absolute blast! The staff was awesome, the process is easy and the water was nice and calm enough for beginners with a few rock bars to stop and hang out along the way. We will 100% be back very soon!

So I don't do water at all But it was my buddy's birthday and that's what he wanted. Was all of his friends out on the water. I had never been kayaking before and was kind of skittish, The booking experience was easy and affordable and I was so glad I was able to sign my waiver online to eliminate the risk of getting cold feet. A very nicely relaxed environment and staff, at one point I thought they were going to canoe with us They were just so kind and even helped us launch. We did the five mile course and it was very easy to navigate and have fun even for a first time or like myself. It was a very nice kayak and a good paddle. Thank you for the awesome experience and making my friend's birthday the best he's had in a while.

Great time on the river! Birthday cruise with my wife. We went on a Friday. Not crowded so if you want less people on the river, Friday is the day. Saw an Eagle, King Fisher, different Butterflies, snake with a prize he had already caught, and multiple large fish. My wife also took numerous pictures of the multitude of plants and flowers that are native to Tennessee. Great afternoon!

What a gem of an operation. The kindest most educated people. We felt taken care of by the entire staff.

Wonderful place! I'm a novice and flipped a couple of times but had an amazing time. This is a very peaceful stretch of river with some obstacles, a ton of beautiful scenery, and plenty of places to stop for a rest or to swim. The bridges you pass under are helpful mile markers.

The owners are very nice, they even offered to refund the cost of a paddle we lost if someone ended up finding it. I can't wait to come back and have another fantastic time!

I can’t rave enough how amazing our weekend was. The camp sites were super clean, and well taken care of. Our kayaking experience started off excellent and the owners very so accommodating and professional. We will be back again next month for sure. Thank you for everything!!

We used the shuttle at Bone's for the 10-mile trip. We have floated with every outfitter on the Buffalo, they all have different floats. Bone's is our favorite place to have a nice relaxing float! Check-in is easy and they were very respectful of our gear. On the ride, our local guide explained kayak laws, obstacles and best ways to avoid them, he gave us valuable tips to ensure we had a good time. We were able to enjoy the native wildlife at a relaxing pace. The first 5-miles had a few trees to go around, but was very secluded. The last 5-miles of the trip had plenty of places to stop, rest, swim, walk around, and eat lunch. Drop in and take out was easy and we were able to pull our car down very close to the water for pick-up. If you are looking for a more serene float, this is it! I hope we can make one more trip here before the year ends!

After having our reservation in Clarksville canceled due to high water levels, we called several places within 2 hours of our western KY home to get a float in in a short time frame. I couldn’t even get other places to pick up the phone. Bone’s promptly answered and I’m glad they did. As other reviews state, this family owned business did not disappoint with their professional and just genuine courtesy. The river was beautiful and staff was more than accommodating. Will make at least a few more trips back this year alone hopefully.

We are BSA Troop 48 out of New Orleans. I called Evan on Wed and he was able to accommodate our 22 person/4 night, 5 day trip in short order. We arrived Sunday afternoon and camped out on site before putting in on Monday (Memorial Day) morning, 52 miles up river. The process was efficient and seamless and we had a great float. Kudos to your Staff and a job well done.

Such a great float and the people that owned it were so nice!! Prices were fair also. I suggest signing your waivers before you get there and definitely reserving your kayaks beforehand. We will be back soon!

Great place! This was a calm river with some obstacles, lot of places to stop for rest or to swim. Water level is moderate but do check with the operators. They have few supplies like hats, tshirts and some other accessories if you need them… open shower for a quick wash

My kayaking group have been to 6 different rivers this summer and even more venues. BONES seriously took the cake. The river runs well and the staff/owners are impressively knowledgable and kind. The river was absolutely beautiful. Will absolutely be back, and frequently.

Amazing service... we are going back our third time. This husband and wife team is five stars. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience is awesome. And when you take out wow, their team is there to pull your boat up out of the water and that is so helpful when I take a group of 20 ladies. We just love this place. It's like we have the river all to ourselves

We love this place! Evan and Monica are great! Very friendly staff and a great place to go if you want to rent your own kayak/canoe or if you bring your own. They offer a 5 mile and a 10 mile float. They also have a beautiful camp ground on the river. Highly recommended. Dog friendly too!

We visited Bone's for the first time on 6/12 and did the 10 mile float. We brought our own kayaks and paid for a shuttle. The staff was super sweet and the float was perfect. I couldn't have picked a better way or place to spend my 24th birthday!

Staff was friendly and made the experience safe and fun. The 5 mile section of the Buffalo was an easy float with a few tight corners, nothing too scary. The van ride to the drop off point was a little crammed but a short ride. They have really cool t-shirts for sale, also they will hold on to your car keys for you. I highly recommend Bones. We will be back again!!
