Motel 6 Cookeville, TN

Safe, comfy and friendly. I loved it so much that I stayed here going to destination and returning from my trip. Safety was the most important part to me. Lighting was amazing and I felt like my car was safe.

Clean, quiet, nice staff. One of the bigger rooms I’ve seen from Motel 6. Staff called after we reached the room to make sure every was too our liking which was very thoughtful.

The only issue was the WiFi. It kept constantly reconnecting. My husband and I both work remotely so all of our work is via computer. We were not able to get anything done.

We had a nice clean, comfortable, and quiet room for two nights. The beds were super comfortable. Each room has an adjustable heating and air conditioning unit for your comfort! We had a King suite! The staff was friendly and helpful and the location could not be beat! We didn't have to ask for anything and parking was just outside our room. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail outlets within a mile or two! Great location!

Cons: TV was terrible and definitely needs replaced. It was a non-smoking room but smelled like cigarettes and had cigarette burns in the bedding.
Pros: Staff was awesome. Great location to food and other things. Good for travelers with pets. Quiet and overall pleasant; we slept well and checked in/out easily.

Motel 6 has always been good to me, only thing every motel 6 needs is better beds and showers.

Great motel. Very few amenities, but that't not what I was there for. Comfortable bed, A/C worked great, room was clean. I requested a lower level room (which they mostly reserve for pet owners), but I was accommodated without a pet. I loved the wood floors. The outside is well lit. I did not use the pool, but it was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly. I will stay here again!

Very clean. The guy that checked me in called the room to ensure that everything was acceptable. Someone stays in the office all night. The parking lot was well lighted.

Starting off I will say this is one of, If not the nicest motel 6 I have ever stayed in. The room has been recently remodeled and I am personally a fan of the hardwood floors! The shower had just the right amount of water pressure and I loved how they weren’t stingy with the amount of towels they give you. Everything is throughly cleaned and they do give you a fridge and a microwave along with an updated TV. My only 2 complaints are: We had booked a king room and where we got here so late they only had a queen, and lastly the air conditioner could have worked better. Other than that, would I stay here again? Yes I would. I also recommend others to stay here, especially for the price point!

Really nice people. We had to change our room from a king to 2 queens and they were awesome about it. Has smoking rooms. Not much in the way of amenities, bath soap and coffee in the lobby is it. Coffee is a must for me!!! We always try and stay at Motel 6 because of our dog. Although this is the first time I had to sign a "pet policy" at a Motel 6. All in all, a good, clean place to stay with your furbabies!!!

The owner is very courteous and knowledgeable of the surrounding area and it's attractions. The room and bathroom were clean, and the mini fridge and microwave were just what we needed on our 3 night stay. I felt safe staying there as a single woman with her daughter. Our dog and cat were with us, which is why I usually look to Motel 6 and their super friendly pet policy. I really liked the wood floors as opposed to carpeting. It felt much cleaner. Little noise and activity after 10pm. Certainly can't beat the price. Will definitely be making a trip back and staying there again!

The room was VERY clean and modern enough for an overnight traveling stay. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The price was fantastic. I honestly did not know what to expect because this was the first pet friendly motel we have ever stayed in. I expected allergy issues but not a one. Bed was comfy. We felt safe and clean. What more can you ask for. I read lots of reviews and the lower ratings I feel the people expected the Ritz for free. If traveling back through Cookeville we will definitely register here again.

This is one of the better motel 6 locations to stay at. The rooms are clean and affordable. I commute from Jamestown 5 days a week. Sometimes I'm too tired to drive home. Chris is so professional in that he knows which room I prefer to stay in, is polite and couteous to all guests, and very accommodating. One day I was so tired I wanted to just check in and go to sleep and he made sure I had everything I needed.

I have stayed here off and on for over a year, the longest was 3-4 months. The owners are amazing, love pets and help with anything they can. Everytime I come, they remember me and my dogs which is a great feeling. This has been my go to when we need a place.

I've never seen a motel 6 so clean. No cigarette butts anywhere. The room was a good size. Look and smells clean. The front destination was very friendly. The location was quiet even if its by the fwy One thing that I noticed that I didn't like was the pillows. All pillows were very old and deformed. Aside from that, everything was thumbs up. We had a good night sleep after travelling for so many hours. Thank you so much

This was the best Motel 6 experience I have had. My room was clean and very well maintained. Also, I was welcomed by a staff member who was genuinely concerned with providing excellent accomodations. Thank you for a great visit@

Owners are amazing! Friendly, accommodating, very helpful! This is the second time in a year we have broken down (random car problems) and both times they have been understanding and allowed us to have the issues fixed right here with a Mobile Mechanic! Clean rooms, great service, wonderful pillows! Shower is crazy pressure, better than any massage! Most trips we take either involve beachfront condos, our timeshare, or Marriott....very rarely do we stay at a motel, but this Cookeville Motel 6 is fabulous! I cannot say enough!!

I locally but I've stayed there twice. The first time was when the tornado came through and I was without power. The second time was during the ice storm and I was without power again. Nice enough, clean rooms
Pet friendly and a great staff especially the lady that works the desk on 2nd shift.
I highly recommend them.

First impressions count and Carlynne was exceptional. After a long 13 hours on the road she was welcoming and personable. Definitely a keeper! As for the room it may not be a 5 star but it was only $59. Perfect for my pet and I. I read the prior complaints and could do nothing but roll my eyes. Please people get over yourselves. Nice hardwood floors, clean bed and a shower. If you want more than that go pay $200 a night elsewhere. I could overlook a few dust bunnies for the low price I paid. Again, thank you for the awesome customer service! You rock!
