Hampton Inn Columbia-I-26/Harbison Blvd. (Mall Area)

We love this hotel. They have fabulous suites on the top floor overlooking the pool and lakefront. The ducks come up from the lake and enjoy swimming in the pool here also. It's fun to watch and just overall relaxing. Whether it's winter and you're enjoying the fire or summer and sitting at the pool. It's overall in my ten hotels. And we travel a lot.

The breakfast was nice. There are plenty of hot items to choose from like grits, oatmeal, sausage, waffles, and omelets. The king room we had was very clean and cozy. Definetly will be my first choice to stay when I visit Columbia again.

Love the place visit again this year. Breakfast good rooms clean. I liked the pool, but my wife said it was too warm. About 80 degrees.

This place was amazing and the staff is definitely the best part. From the time I called for a reservation until we left, it was as if they had anticipated our needs. Every single person we encountered spoke to us, asked if we needed help, etc. Hopefully they are well paid for the level of professionalism and kindness they all show.

We travel a lot and the room was so clean. The breakfast was good and the attendants there were very available. Pool was clean and well stocked with towels that didn't feel like sandpaper. We will definitely be back!

Had a little vacation in Columbia SC, booked Hampton inn by Hilton for 5 nights. I needed a quiet room and I chose to stay in 6 floor, got room 603. First night I woke up by fire alarm around midnight and couldn’t sleep for a long time…next day front desk employees explained what happened…I’m so glad they made an effort to help every guest and make sure guests have a safe and happy stay in the hotel. The room was clean, but just need a little bit attention, however the bed was comfortable. I’ve met hotel housekeepers, maintenance staff, employees other than front desk staff, they were all very polite and friendly. There is a beautiful lake behind the hotel, guests can have a nice walk in the morning and evening, I really enjoyed it! It made my stay at this hotel much better. Thanks for your effort, and I am quite happy to sharing this experience with others!

Breakfast served until 10 am. Make your own waffles. Have scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and coffee; all of which are free. Rooms were clean, neat, and comfortable. Wifi password is slightly complicated though.

Without a doubt, Olivier went out of his way to make sure we had extra towels, extra blankets, and pillows. Other staff members helped us find the best place to eat and the best route to Ft. Jackson. The maintenance staff was busy freshening up paint and the like while we were there. We were impressed to see the amount of cleaning taking place! It has been quite some time since we've stayed at a hotel where there was no edge accumulation of dust on floors and the halls and all the common areas were very clean, as was our room. The grounds outside were particularly beautiful. The property is very well-maintained and managed, which is a rarity these days. A huge thank you to everyone who made our stay so great!

It was very nice spending a few days here. Plenty of space and always nice and kept clean as possible.

It is an older property but well kept and service is great and the rates were lower than most of the competing hotels. If you want to get out and walk there is nice trail around a lake within a couple hundred feet of the property. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean and well maintained but a little dated, the breakfast was hot with multiple attendants keeping it fresh and there was plenty of room to sit outside as well as the standard indoor seating. This was my first stay at this hotel but I'll be staying here going forward when in Columbia on business.

We love staying at this hotel. It’s always clean and they are constantly working to improve your stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. It has an amazing pond out back to walk around, a nice play area for kids. All around it’s our favorite place to stay when headed to Myrtle Beach. Don’t forget a cute photo outside at the Red Phone Booth before you leave!

Great service, staff was nice, me and my fiancé stay was great wish it was longer but we will definitely be back there soon!

The team members here were amazing. I came for a work conference (that was held onsite) and everything was clean and put together nicely. They have a nice pool, dining area, laundry, and an adorable outdoor seating space out front.

This was our second stay at this motel. The first time it was a very busy weekend, with reunions and sporting teams running around. Yet the staff seemed to handle the controlled-chaos just fine. This time was a weekday, so it was quieter and just as well-run. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and breakfast was good. It's super-close to the expressway, but not noisy, and seems like a safe enough area. It's also very close to some restaurants and shopping. Our only complaint is the lousy pillows--no idea why Hampton decided several years ago that people wanted to sleep on 'hypo-allergenic down' pillows. They look great until you put your head on them, and then go almost flat. My spouse ended up with 3 under his head and spent half the night folding and rearranging them. Fortunately, I remembered to bring my own pillow from home. Hampton must know pillows are so important to a good night's sleep, plus there are so many comments out there about these substandard pillows, I have no idea why they haven't changed back, or at least provided another option.

Our room was clean and had all the touches that make a room nice. a little coffee pot, blackout curtains, microwave and a decent sized fridge (instead of the tiny cube ones). Best of all was that there was a gluten free option (Individually wrapped Udi's Bagels) for my kiddo with Celiac Disease.
The staff was also helpful and friendly. We will definitely seek out this property again the next time we come through.

Hampton Inn never let me down. That’s why I stay. Everything from check in to check out made my wife and I enjoy my birthday weekend here. Great place, great staff. Thank you for having great employees.

I went to see my son graduate for The Army in Fort Jackson, it was a 25 min drive from this hotel but it was beautiful views, not far at all and everything is near by Restaurants and shopping centers.

Very clean rooms. Breakfast was yummy. Great place for a night along the way of a long road trip.

This hotel is in a great location always feel safe there as I travel alone for business love the staff and the breakfast is wonderful

Huge shout-out to Kevin at the front desk. Kevin turned an awkward situation into a very positive one and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. Room was spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Out of our window was the pool area with 5 ducks swimming, it was the cutest thing, sent a video to my Mom who thought they were adorable. Parking was very ample and there are several doors around the hotel to make it very convenient. The breakfast area had many options along with skim milk, I don't see that in hotels, usually 2% or whole milk, I took an additional glass to my room. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again, everyone I encountered was so nice and extremely friendly. Thank you

Stayed one night on our way to FL; had our dog with us. Great hotel, clean and bright. Our room was comfortable & spacious. We loved the walking trails around the lake in back of the hotel!
Olivier, at the front desk, was exceptionally nice EVERY time I talked to him; he checked us in, gave us recommendations for take out food and got us a couple of bed pillows. Great customer service.
What was really nice was that the hotel room rate was reasonable and the $50 fee for the dog was not outrageous. Worked well for our travel plans!
