Food Lion

Food Lion is a great store. They have reasonably priced items & several different "departments" much like any other grocery store of today. They are conveniently located right off Hwy 111 at the Spring Street exit which is Hwy 70E & 70W. Employees are friendly & polite & helpful if you need them.

For a small grocery, I am thankful to have it next door. Fresh produce and great meat within walking distance. And great employees.

A welcoming atmosphere entering Food Lion on Spring Street in Cookeville, Tennessee today. It was a fast ship for me as I only was purchasing a pack of Marlboro 100's cigarettes. The cashier and I greeted each other pretty much at the same time. She was friendly, helpful, and fast. I was on my way out the door and really could've stayed longer. Thank you to everyone.

This is our favorite grocery store since we moved here. Excellent produce and meats, friendly employees, and never a shortage of cashiers so the lines aren't ridiculous.

Bright, well stocked with helpful staff. Prices are quite competitive with other grocery stores in town. Wide selection of essentials and a good variety of wants. Checkout staff are fast and friendly. We will be back, often.

This store is ALWAYS welcoming, clean, and well stocked. The personnel are always helpful and friendly. I sure hope the new Food City doesn't make Food Lion to decide this sweet store isn't needed!

I do most of my grocery shopping here. Cashiers are always so polite and helpful.

Store was very clean even though employees and vendors were stocking shelves and coolers. Cashier's were very helpful. She went out of her way to help me get the best price. I forgot my Food Lion savings card. Cashier used the store card. Thank you so much. Food was very fresh.

I love this location. I can always find good bargains on proteins and numerous other items here. The staff here are very polite and friendly as well.

#1 grocery store. #1 management and staff. Superior service. Food Lion has a great meat department, fresh produce, and everything in between. It's a very clean and well organized store and their prices are better than most. My go-to store. Love it.

I call this "My grocery store". I've been on a budget all my life. Ha ha I was raised a poor girl, & I guess that rubbed off on me as I grew up! Nothing wrong being poor, makes you appreciate what you do have. I've been divorced for about 35 years, never remarried & raised my Son myself. My budgeting has rubbed off him. We have a good life, & people that work at Food Lion are always very nice to us when they see us. My Son has forgotten the savings card at times & they remember him & always use the one they have. That is kind in my books, & I appreciate them very much. They really have some great sales. I went tonite & saved ' $28.61. Also their store on Spring, out close to I 40, is always clean & bright looking. I think you'll like it too!!! You'll be calling it your store like I do.

I was visiting a friend and ran in there to get some eggs. When I came out it was POURING! They had umbrellas for customers to use and we drop them off at the door as we left. I was so impressed that they took the initiative and provided great customer service.

Employees at the spring street location in Cookeville, TN are always very kind and hospitable. Each time I visit the store I feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. I have two children whom can be a little rambunctious at times. Your employees not only overlook their loud noises and occasional wandering feet, but they frequently engage in conversation with my girls and ask how they are when I happen to be shopping alone. I am even more encouraged by the professional way your younger staff carries themselves. This is honestly something one does not consistently encounter at any place of business anymore. I commend the hiring staff at this location for practicing such good judgement in their hiring process. This store is my absolute favorite place to shop for groceries in all of Cookeville. That holds true for my parents as well. Thank you for a job well done!

Nice people, good sales. Prices comparable to any other chain. If I lived closer, I would frequent them more. Just as good as Kroger or WM.
