Althea Vault

We stopped in for breakfast and were greeted with the kindest, coolest, friendliest owners. We had the bacon egg burrito and the biscuits and sausage gravy. It was perfect. The B&Gs were really delicious and very filling. Super reasonable price. The environment is top notch with great Oklahoma artist’s work on display and some of the best tables and woodwork I’ve seen in a small place. Just wonderful. Highly recommended. Oh and we left with cinnamon rolls and brownies for the road.

i do deliveries for UberEats, and i just dropped a grocery delivery off to this place, and it is so cute!! the owner (or possibly manager? i'm not entirely sure) was incredibly nice and friendly, and he gave us two big brownies on the house! and they were SO delicious! my partner and i ate one, and we're going to give the other one to my MIL and totally make her day! i would love to come back here sometime for a full meal, definitely the type of place I'd want to support and give my business!

The only place in town! A custom decor that would fit in any city around the world, a full desert case, made to order coffee drinks, fresh local food. Pre-order a dozen cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies or cakes they are excellent.

We dropped in for lunch! Great home style place, hamburgers were fantastic, our guests had a salad and a sandwich, both looked delicious!!!

Baked goods were out of this world!! Strongly suggest the cinnamon roll warmed!! ❤

Lot of people don't know about this place. It is well worth the drive. Great coffee great pastries great food. You'll love it. Just make sure you get there before they close for the day.

Adorable hole in the wall Cafe. Owners are as sweet as can be & the young lady working the register is kind & helpful. A place with a history, good fresh food, and amazing fresh baked goods. Highly recommend! You step in, and have stepped out of tiny Washington Oklahoma.

This is a diamond in the rough. It's off the beat and path but we'll worth the trip. Coffee great and you can pick up your own bag of wood roasted beans. My breakfast was good and I chased my breakfast Burrito with a homemade cinnamon roll.
Everything on the menu is simple yet unique and I can't wait to try everything. I grabbed a chicken salad sandwich to go for lunch and I was not disappointed.
In top of all that the place was kind of a simple elegance with a friendly and attentive staff.
For me it will be about a 30 min drive but I will do it often..

Working near by wanted a quick bite to eat. Ordered online for pick up. Food was done on time and people where friendly. The Mac and cheese with bacon was awesome. Price was alittle high but for supporting local business and good food I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Great place for lunch! Neat little place to visit with wonderful staff that is helpful and so friendly! The food is really great and they have some awesome sandwiches at great prices. Beware that they are often busy when the school is on lunch, but it is worth the wait and they are generally very quick. Would highly recommend them for a nice meal.

Wonderful creative menu, quality ingredients, locally owned, great service and environment. Not just the same old dishes you’d expect from a small town cafe or restaurant. But still not missing a thing! Delicious salads, sandwiches, fantastic burgers-try the California Burger and don’t miss out on the chicken salad!

One of my favorite stops for just about anything! Their burgers and sandwiches are great, Mac and cheese is out of this world and don’t even get me started on the brownies! The staff is always so friendly and the owners are so kind!

If you have never been here you are really missing out! I enjoy coming to Althea's because their food is always perfect, healthy and delicious. The atmosphere is quaint. What you don't see anymore in good restaurants are the owners greeting customers and asking how their service is... at Althea's they do!

I love meeting my friends here for a nice breakfast or lunch. The food is always good and the baked good are delicious. The staff is always friendly and have smiles on their faces.

I bought the grilled chicken sandwich. It was tasty and moist. The coleslaw was different than what I am used to but still very tasty. I will be coming back to Washington for more from Althea's.

Wonderful spot in the middle of nowhere! Food was great, less that $20 for us both. Id like to come try one of their dinner specials sometime. Their coleslaw is delicious!

Excellent 👌, great coffee, always have the best dessert case. Family owned by wonderful people. The food is also super great and they do awesome dinners every night

One of the best Cinnamon Rolls I’ve ever had.

Great food, friendly staff. Terrific cole slaw, and the pastries are wonderful. Be sure and have a latte. I love having Althea’s Vault nearby!

I don't know what they keep in the "Vault" specifically but it is some kind of goodness magic. Like it's so good they gotta keep it locked up. I only wonder if anyone has ever tried to dig a tunnel into the vault to get the secret goodness? Legend has it that the Keebler elves we're once just lowly souls until one day one of them glanced a view of the secret goodness. Now they are rich little guys. So much mystery about this place.
