Minute Key

Minute Key met my expectations. This is a no hassle and user-friendly automated kiosk. I was skeptical to use this "thing" to make duplicates of my key versus going to a locksmith shop because in the past it was always hit-and-miss for a copy to work made at places other than a locksmith shop. Today's experience was convincing with Minute Key; all three copies of the original key worked on my door lock. Cudos to Minute Key for making it easy for me to duplicate other keys in the future.

Great experience. Lots of key choices, it's quick and the keys always fit the first time.

Worked well, but more expensive than just going ten steps over to the next aisle and having the lowes employee use the same employee-use machine. Also fewer key selections than the lowes employee-run kiosk.

For years I had a lock smith down the street making keys at 2 bucks a pop. Now I have a machine make a key at six dollars a pop and can get a free brass key if I make sure to ask for it reducing the cost to 4 dollars a pop. Yes finding a clerk is a problem because the store won't hire enough help. The key works, thank you. The solution provided is not a real step forward, At this rate we are doomed

I had three keys made from one master, using your “buy two get one free“ offer. Although all three worked in the deadbolt lock, none worked in the regular knob lock which is keyed exactly the same! I was disappointed… Especially because I was getting ready to leave town and didn’t have time to go back and get them redone.

Do not go to the minutekey kiosk with the worker, use the standalone automated one. I used the one with the worker to get those painted designs and they scraped a good amount of the paint off with a metal brush. I know over time it will get worn off, but I expect a new key to look new.

Bought 3 keys none of them work. Never again will I use minute key.

The keys did not work!!!
