El Milagro Market & Restaurant

We checked out the market today. It was great finding items we haven't seen since leaving Tucson a few years ago, and missed. The place is clean and has a nice selection of goods.

By the way, if you've never had a Coke from Mexico (glass bottle, real sugar), go get one!

Came in early one morning for some breakfast. Had the veggie fajitas with a couple fried huevos. Great food. Great service. Great prices. The market was really cool. Had some interesting items that you don’t see everywhere. Had to get some of the cotel vampiro. Bought a bunch of seasonings as well. Cool selection of Mexican drinks, snacks, and candy.

New Location! If you haven’t checked out El Milagros new location, you must go! They have a wonderful authentic menu, the service is always friendly and nice.

This was my 1st visit but definitely not my last! Of course they start you out with free fresh chips and salsa, the chips were hot and super fresh!
Absolutely the best tacos I've Ever had in my life! I chose the steak tacos with a side of rice with cheese. To my surprise the tacos come with a large charred jalapeño on the side..Absolutely perfect! And at $1.99 per taco, you can't go wrong!
Beautiful atmosphere and our server was a lovely sweet lady, she was on top of things! Highly recommend a visit.
They also have a small store inside. I'll be checking it out very soon.

The best Mexican food in Cookeville hands down. I've lived in California, Texas, vacation to Mexico regularly. If you're in the area, this is your best choice by far. I'm a sucker for good al pastor. The kids love shopping in the market after dinner.

I feel foolish of not recommending this market to anyone, it doesnt have enough credit, it is a weekly spot with a great selection items and more, I would give five stars to the restaurant however, my frugal self likes to stay in still have not enjoyed that part. But trust this I am looking forward to it! Also I like too add their baked goods that they make 10/10 but hurry they go fast.

Being from Arizona, authentic Mexican food was the toughest to find here.... until El Milagro. Food is always great and the market reminds me of the carnicerias back home. Definitely the best in Cookeville

Personally I love this place. I’ve been eating here for a long time. Since before they even moved to this location. It’s my go to for Mexican food and foodstuffs for cooking as well.
The prices are very fair and the food is outstanding. I have brought many of my friends here for lunches. And I will continue to do so in the future.

I forgot to take pictures but the food was really good. I had the papas appetizer. It's kinda like a Carne Asada fries. But the fries are soggy. My husband loves soggy fries but I prefer them to be crispy. And then my husband had the chimichangas. They were good. The chimichangas were fried and crispy. They also have green salsa that I put on everything...

Home made rice,beans, and corn tortillas say what!!!?? Yes, please! I finally had the closest to California Mexican food. My daughter had the Chile Verde. She likes it very hot, so she just added their table. Chile Verde salsa to spice it up as the Verde wasn't very spicy. Although perfect for my liking as I don't do hot. I had the carniatas, and my husband had the fajitas chicken and a Carne asada street taco with homemade tortilla!!
All the Tortillas with the meals came with homemade.
You won't be disappointed.

A true gem with fresh, tasty and authentic Mexican food. We had tacos, enchilada and a special soup and everything was delicious For a southern Californian like me finding this place is a blessing. Not only for the restaurant food quality and friendly staff but having a market as well and a butcher on site is s plus. I was able to find salsas, vegetables, tortillas, cheeses and butcher cuts specific to the culture. We’ll be back on weekends to have the menudo!

Amazing food from great people. My favorite Mexican Restaurant. Once a week I will get lunch and the food is always spot on. A perfect dining experience and I love that they have a market next door to get Food to take home. Super friendly staff always greet you with a smile.

Amazing tacos they do all of the Tacos for when us at Ford of Cookeville get tacos.

The food is delicious and authentic Mexican food. I’m from So Cal and I love the food and the atmosphere. I feel like I’m home. They are always very nice and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

I had Pollo Milagro. The size of the food would feed 3 people. It was delicious and favorable. To drink I had a mango drink which was so good! My husband always buys Menudo and carnitas with the fixings. This is now my number one place for Mexican food!!

I went with my aunt to eat there and we had a very nice time. We caught up on old times and had a great meal. We both got the chicken question quesedillos, and they were amazing!!

I always get Chicken, Cheese and Rice with grilled onions and peppers. Always delicious and hot when I pick it up. Smiles are always on their faces and very polite. Plus the market is an awesome place to shop.
