Baker Primary Care Center

We were in town skiing, and our son cut his neck with a ski in a fall! We knew he needed stitches ASAP and did not want to go to the ER. They got us in immediately and did a fantastic job sewing him up. It was a terrifying situation, but we knew we were well cared for—wonderful, efficient, and kind people.

It's sure good to have a healthcare provider that lives up to one's expectations! Today's visit just reinforced my confidence in my provider, NP Jenni Goodwin. I was treated with mutual respect, highest professionalism, and her knowledge of treatment options and her recommendations extremely reassuring. This visit simply continues a three-year long pattern. Thanks to ALL at the Baker Center!

A huge shout out to Kaitlind Ingalls and her nurse Rebeka for being best of the best. These two ladies go over and beyond for my Group Home Clients and myself as patients of theirs. They both go out of their way to take the time to spend with you in the office that you need. They make my clients feel very welcomed, loved and not afraid to be there. They both are there to answer any question we have regardless if it’s in the office or on the phone. Truly these two ladies are absolutely amazing. We lost Rebeka once and we have her back now and as my clients say, “ if kaitlind and Rebeka leave we will have to go with them “. True statement !!!

I’ve been a patient of the Baker Center for a long time! I appreciate the kindness of staff and feel like each provider takes extra time to address my needs during appointments. The same-day clinic has been a great too- especially for my two children.

Absolutely love Jaynie Deputy! She is so thorough and detailed. She is always wanting to help in any way. Jocelyn is also absolutely amazing and so heartfelt. Best practice I have been to! Those two always make my visits so much more enjoyable because they both truly care about their patients and are always so kind.

I had an excellent first appointment with my new PCP, Jaynie Deputy. She took the time to get to know me and review my history. I appreciated her questions and suggestions.

Jaynie Deputy is a very capable and thorough NP. She discusses my concerns with me and lays out a plan of action that she explains thoroughly and we both agree on. She never seems rushed and gives me her full undivided attention. I feel very comfortable under her care.The staff is friendly and helpful when I call, and Jocelyn always handles my calls efficiently and gets back to me in a timely manner with answers and instructions.

Jaynie Deputy, and her assistant Jocelyn, are absolutely amazing! My mom is treated with compassion, understanding, dignity, and respect. I'm so grateful my mom has such a wonderful healthcare team looking after her health.

Jocelyn was amazing!! Very sweet and patient with my kids. My daughter has anxiety with doctors and usually puts up a fight but Jocelyn talked her through everything and a doctors visit has never gone as smoothly as this one.

Jaynie Deputy is excellent! She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and very thorough. And Jocelyn Ortiz, who is so kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. They’re both great at what they do, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I drive our an hour to see my doctor, because she is so great! She takes the time to listen to me, problem solve situations in my life, and helps with whatever is wrong. The other staff members are always smiling and happy to help me (even though I ask a million questions). The office is clean and I always feel welcome. I have been coming here since 2001, when I first started college and they have been through a lot with me. This an amazing place! I highly recommend it! J. Goodwin is awesome!

My family has received excellent care at the Baker Center since moving to the area six years ago. Dr. Wilson and his nurse are wonderful and very knowledgeable; we never feel rushed. The entire staff is top-notch. Highly recommend.

I brought my sister from FL to receive treatment for recently diagnosed cancer. We had visit with Jenny Goodwin to establish primary care.
When we checked in, I notified staff that she had severe neutropenia and we were immediately taken to a private room.

I cannot say enough good things about Jenny. She spent close to an hour with us, answering all of our questions with utmost kindness. We truly felt liked she cared about us, and she encouraged us to not hesitate to contact her if we have any concerns. I feel so much better knowing compassionate care is so close by.

I went to the Baker Center for Primary Care on December 19th to have a meet and greet with nurse practitioner Jaynie Deputy and her nurse Jocelyn Ortiz. Both Jaynie and Jocelyn actively listened to my health care needs and did not make me feel rushed. I look forward to my next annual visit.

Dr Wilson is a excellent Physician and a caring person. All of the staff at the Baker Center are kind and helpful. I appreciate being treated like a person and not a number. Keep up the good work!

This practice has been my primary care for 15+ years. Have been pleased with all. Today's visit with Dr. Chidester was very helpful. Her nurse Leslie is awesome! Everyone is so patient and willing to jump in and help.

The most friendly doctors offices I've ever been to, from the receptionist to the assistant to the doctor you feel like your getting number 1 services! Sarah Seaver is always caring and helps you understand all your medical needs.

My husband and I had a very good experience last week at the Baker Center for Primary Care! We did make a mistake of not having our appointments together, so my husband had a wait time, but Dr. Wilson helped us resolve that! We are so thankful to have Dr. Wilson at Linville now! He is an excellent physician!!!

Jayme Deputy is a good physician’s assistant. Very detailed. Staff at the office are personable and attentive. Really like this practice.

My family & I have been going to the Baker Center for over 12 years. We have seen 4 or 5 different doctors & physician assistants over that period and all of them have been great. The nurses & staff are all wonderful and so kind. We have never had a bad experience.
