Holiday Inn Express Hurricane Mills (Waverly), an IHG Hotel

Ramp to the hotel was hidden behind a semi in the dark but not too hard to find.

I arrived after 11 hours of driving, without a reservation. Brooke was at the front desk, and helped me out tremendously. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely made lodging on my trip a breeze.

We stayed there on November 3rd. Very pleased with cleanliness of unit. Beds were really soft and breakfast was very good. Pancakes, biscuits/gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, egg & cheese omelet ,juice bar, fresh fruit. If you want a nice clean comfortable bed with great service choose this one

We stayed here last night, the room was clean and smelled good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with bacon, sausage, eggs and pancakes. I would stay here again.

Sooooo good!! Awesome service at check in, the room was so nice and CLEAN! I didn't hear the noise from the highway ( posted in another review) and I had a room facing it. The breakfast was the BEST HOT EGGS AND BISCUITS I've had in a hotel in a long time!! My husband's job requires us to be in a hotel 9 months of the year, and I was only here 1 night on a trip home. It's tricky to find the entrance but once you get inside you forget how mad you may be trying to enter the parking lot.
They are under heavy renovation, but night and morning staff apologize for it. In my opinion they don't need to! I was just in Marion Ohio in the same brand hotel for a month and the renovation is TOTALLY AWESOME!! So please don't judge that, as it will be so worth seeing when it's finished!!
But to summarize, the staff was AWESOME, THE ROOM IS AWESOME AS IS THE BREAKFAST!! Google review is great! But posting on the IHG WEBSITE is better. If I had gotten there names I would post there to, as it helps each worker individually!!

Not one single complaint about this hotel. It was clean, no odors. They even said they leave the breakfast area open at night if you need a snack! Lobby was being remodeled though, if you are sensitive to paint smells, you may want to avoid it til they're done.

This hotel was amazing. We’re on family road trip to Texas and we’re on our way back home to MA when we stayed here. It was the best hotel we had stayed at the whole trip. Felicia was the person who checked us in at night and super lovely and welcoming, I normally don’t leave reviews but we specifically wanted to give her props on top of the hotel itself being nice. It was clean and cozy. The bathroom was stunning. The breakfast the next day was good, recommend the pancakes.

Great hotel just off the highway, comfortable beds, clean everywhere but the real star is the staff. Felicia, the night manager when we arrived, was amazing, professional, helpful, kind and someone worth meeting.

It was a terrible rain storm and I'd been driving for hours trying to get to NC, but the weather was more than I wanted to drive through with my kids. We pulled into the Holiday in with no reservation but high hopes and Felicia got us checked into our room and out of the storm in record time. Her friendliness and professional demeanor should be commended. Good job Holiday Inn and Thank You Felicia!

We were traveling from NYC to Dallas and stopped at this Holiday Inn on the first day of our road trip. Upon check in, we were welcomed with great service from Felicia. She was incredibly welcoming. In the morning, during checkout, we met two more incredibly friendly front desk workers! Great places to stay!

Passing through from several states away I was too tired to drive any longer and decided to check this place out for the night. Upon arrival - The young guy that checked me in, I didn’t get his name, was pleasant and polite and made the Check-in process seamless. The room was clean and comfortable and left nothing to be desired. The property was clean and quiet. Being is how I drove all morning and afternoon I didn’t wanna get back out to get food so I just went downstairs to vending machine. Unfortunately, there was an out of order sign posted on the machine directly, but did say that items could be purchased at the front desk. I only had my debit card on me and the nice guy that checked me in said that he had no way to ring up a transaction with a card that it was cash only. I sighed and said I didn’t have cash and he was kind enough to pull money from his own pocket to pay for my two items! That totally made my night and I just wanted to say thank you so much to him. Also to his manager that he is truly a rare gem to the hospitality industry. And not just because he paid for my items, but because of his kindness. His outstanding personality, and his attentiveness. I am from a big city and very seldomly if ever anymore do I see customer service, much less customer service like this. He went above and beyond!

Customer service was beyond amazing! We were coming from Oklahoma and exhausted. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. The room was great. Super clean and comfortable. The shower was perfect and so clean. The breakfast was super delicious! Can’t say enough good things! Thank you for such a great experience!

Nice room, pleasant staff. Felicia, the night manager, made check-in a breeze. Breakfast is the standard Holiday Inn Express fare, but it's a decent meal, and there are plenty of options.

Very nice and very clean!! Great room. Breakfast was great and the dinning area was large and kept very clean. The desk clerk was the best and both were very neat. Very good stay for tired travelers.

Very clean. All staff very friendly. Loved our stay. Pool very nice. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend to everyone to stay here. Close to Loretta Lynn's Kitchen. And now too far from Loretta Lynn's Ranch.

All I can say is, this is truly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Mrs. Felisha was incredible. One of the nicest lady's I've ever met. She belongs in customer service. Holiday inn better keep her around. She deserves a raise. Great stay !!

We have been traveling across the country for 5 days now. The last few places we have stayed in were awful. This place is a breath of fresh air. We’re tired and it’s amazing to come into a spotless room and not to mention we feel safe here. 5 stars all around. Thank you for being here

The check in lady was very pleasant and ver my friendly. She is a treasure. The rooms are nice and very clean. The parking lot is well lit and the location is close to a lot of food and attractions

Clean room, always a good stay at holiday inn express and this one was no exception! Friendly staff and everything was very clean. Pool was awesome and breakfast was delicious.

stayed multiple times now issues, HVAC does have ability to have fan run constant. When pulling in top of hill stay left and do not go over gravel area, trucks usually parked here.

On a business trip and was grateful to choose Holiday Inn Express at Hurricane Mills, 30 minute drive to Linden, TN. The place was clean, welcoming and just what I needed.
