My fiancé came here for our second dose of the Covid Vaccine after another location was unable to vaccinate her due to a provider mixup.

The pharmacy staff did a fantastic job of processing us despite being very busy. We never felt brushed aside or forgotten about. The front cashier, Jaliese, was incredibly friendly as well. She was new but you couldn't tell and I didn't feel embarrassed at all as I fumbled with my Walgreens account and OTC card.

These are hectic times for pharmacies but they handled it all like professionals!

Ladies at the front were friendly and helpful...went the extra mile to make sure I had a good experience, really appreciated it. Young cashier showed a lot of patience with the gentleman in front of me and demonstrated good professionalism

Staff is friendly and helpful. The Pharmacy could stand to be open until 9, but other than that everything is great.

I usually encounter friendly staff here, but my problem is with Walgreens the company. Trash! It's no wonder if the staff aren't constantly frustrated. Calls and texts from Walgreens are hit or miss, and usually don't actually tell you anything besides there is some update - not if a script is filled, or WHICH script they're referring to. I also have often gotten calls about one of my meds being "delayed" or "out of stock", but when I call the actual pharmacy, I'm told "oh we have that - I don't know why you were told it was out". On top of all that, calling to speak to the staff forces you through and to an automated service which repeatedly tries to trick you into going through more menus instead of just having a person answer the phone, or at least connect you quickly. :/

All in all, I'd say the humans working there are decent...it's the company that sucks.

Seems like no one in the pharmacy cares about their job. They ALWAYS have a rude attitude and don’t seem to care about serving costumers. The hours change frequently and the place is always behind. Last prescription I got the only reason they filled it was because I stayed in the store and waited. They have been out of medicine I needed and not voiced that, I had to go somewhere else to get my script filled after waiting two hours to find out they didn’t have it. I haven’t heard anyone in this community say positive things about this facility. I live a block away but would rather drive to another town then go to this store. Very disappointing

Very nice people but very poorly managed. They cut back their hours and aren't open on the weekends. This wouldn't be an issue if the prescriptions were filled in a timely manner. It generally takes them 3 to 5 days to fill a prescription. There have been many times my Mom was without her medicine. Our nurse that calls in says they don't answer the phone a lot of the time for call in prescriptions.

For several months now Walgreens in Burgaw has been closed on Saturday and Sundays due to only have one pharmacist. This is very inconvenient. I work at home and I'm at least 35mins away. So since they are only open on Mon - Fri 10am to 6pm, I have to rush at 5 to get there. I always refill my prescriptions a few days before I go just in case if there is any issues. But every time I get there about 5:40 they are swamp. I had to walk in Friday afternoon and there was two people having issues getting a prescription filled. Instead of asking for someone else to help with others in line or ask those 2 to step aside, we had to wait. As we are waiting we see other employees in the pharmacist area running around emptying trash cans and such. Only after waiting for 25 mins in line did one finally volunteer to start helping. I also found out that day Wallace Walgreens Pharmacy was closed that week. Elizabeth Towns Walgreens pharmacy is closed on the weekends too but at least they stay open until 7pm. I can't understand what is going on with Walgreens and I'm about to move everything. I've been with Walgreens for many years but the customer service is awful.

Consistently the slowest pharmacy. Will be switching everything somewhere else. Last time I had a prescription that I called to have refilled and was told it would be ready Monday (called on a Friday). Went to pick up Tuesday, waited in the drive-thru for 35 min to be told it wasn’t ready yet.

I prepaid for my prescription before I went to pick it up 5 hours after it should have been ready. I still had to wait 15 minutes. I checked my bank account and I got charged twice for one prescription. I will be there in the morning and get my money back!!!pharmacy is not good!!!

Never seen a Walgreens pharmacy always closed!! Can’t get medication on Saturdays nor Sunday 😒have to wait till 10am on a Monday!! This is just ridiculous and no type of consideration.

Had meds called in first thing in the morning. Took all day for them to fill them. Was told to come back. They would be ready at 5:30. But she failed to tell me they closed at 6pm! So I had to drive to Wilmington to the 24 hour Walgreens. Won't happen again. Next time I'll just have them called in to CVS!!!
