Dr Johnston is is wonderful. He will dig until an answer is found. He is honest, personable and has a wonderful bed side manner. I am so thankful to have found him through a friend of mine. He sees me when I need to be seen not three weeks out because he is too booked. I feel I am in very capable caring hands. Thank you doc

I have spent decades in and out of doctors offices in major health systems in the country, for back pain and injuries. Dr Johnson is the first to offer real relief. He isn’t a doctor for drug seekers and I suspect some poor reviews are related to disappointment related to that. I ignore reviews when people won’t give their name and I assume unhappy patients give more reviews than others. I’m not a staff member. But based upon my many years of doctor to doctor, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Johnson as an excellent choice.

The quality of medical expertise is of the highest caliber and the staff is very professional. I would easily say Dr. Johnston is a rare find of the best kind of practitioner. I would give a solid 10 on a ten point scale. He has saved my life. He could save yours too.

Love this doctor. He took time with me explaining my blood work and x-ray and issue. When I rejected medication and/or surgery, he didn't insist or judge me for my holistic plan for a plant-based diet to try and heal myself first. I can't say enough good about my experience with Dr. Johnston.

I have used Dr. Johnston for years. I credit him with the extension of my husband's life and helping make his last year comfortable and full of quality. He takes time with his patients and answers questions.

Best D.O. I had. I’ve back pain for years and he is only doctor that has been able to help. He takes his time and gets to know you. I think he is an excellent doctor with long years of experience and no layers of admin hoops to jump through.

If I could l would give this man a negative review.. he will not take the time to find out the problem with his patience.. his solution is to add another pill.. or tell his patience their is nothing he can do for them or tell them that they are a waste of his time.. he is definitely not someone that needs to practice medicine

Don't believe many of the positive reviews that have been left here by his staff and friends. Dr. Johnston should have his medical license revoked. He endangered my mother's life by telling her she should have her gallbladder removed when she complained of back pain. He commonly reports negatively to Disability Determination Services. (9 out of 10 people sent to him get DENIED for disability.) He ridicules and disregards patients that are in pain. I've been to him myself, and this guy is a quack, he's dangerous, and he should be sued.

Unprofessional and inconsiderate staff. Would claim they faxed certain documents for referrals and therapies only to have to insist it be done two or three times, then when you try to approach the doctor of the practice, he becomes very hateful and could care less the negative image they portray muchless how his patients are treated. There was definitely something keeping Dr. Johnson from practicing or referring patients to MedWest though he was never really clear on why. Indications from MedWest were that his malpractice claims history was not satisfactory for their selection. Also, he brings his fog to work with him most everyday according to his RN, who spoke very negatively of his wife always insisting that it be with him not to mention many customers being very uncomfortable with it being in the physician office in a boxed in but open area that leads to the patient waiting area and exam rooms.

I would not use this physician nor his practice again and would not recommend them to anyone for treatment. Thee was a considerable amount of patients in and out of the practice who would be speaking with potential buyers for the medications received from Dr. Johnson in the parking lot on two different occasions when I was there as well so unless they have began random drug testing, the potential for drug dealers to hang around the area has grown to a larger number in two years.

I was seeing Dr. Johnson for over a year. I was prescribed Xanax as well as anti-depressants. In December I owed the office $180.00. I paid $90.00 and was going to pay the other $90.00 when next month. I had recently changed insurance. When I went in Jan 2014 I suddenly owed him over $400.00. I talked to his billing staff and they worked out I could pay $150.00. Dr. Johnson has final say and he said he would except no less then $250.00. I had just found out about this money hours before my appointment because they called me and told me my insurance came through with what I owe. So I went to the appointment and they took my check for $150.00 then instead of having an appointment he terminated me on the spot. I had mentioned that it would be unethical to take someone off Xanax because of a $100.00 dispute. You can go into withdrawal and die. So I found a new doctor.

I went in today Feb-07-2014 and tried to make a payment so I wouldn't be sent to collections. I also requested my medical records. Dr. Johnson denied me of both. He said I could have my records when I pay the full balance. I told him there will not be a time when I have an extra $400+ dollars that's why I am trying to make a payment. He is making a special rule that he doesn't except partial payments to force me into collections. He has excepted them from me in the past, he is just mad at me for calling him unethical in his own office. I have talked to a couple lawyers that have advised me that it is illegal to deny a patient their records. Also not allowing someone to make a payment when they owe money seems unheard of. That seems it's on the line of illegal as well. He is being a bully and I am just trying to keep my credit score good. He is purposely, vindictively, putting me in an impossible situation.

This doctor had my husband on 3 different medications and we changed doctor's and the new doctor took him off of all the medication and said for him to eat healthy and no processed foods or fried foods and he will no longer need the medication, this is why he felt so bad because of all the medication he was on so he just wants money money..
