Our favorite place ❤ Haven't tried everything on the menu but everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. Always fresh food and home cooked. And the rolls are the best I've ever ever had in my life. The catfish both filet and whole are delicious can't beat it. The chicken and dumplings are so yummy. The pineapple upside down cake is also warm and delicious and the bread pudding is delicious. My husband always gets the Lotta burger with extra chadder cheese he saids it's the best burger around. My go to has always been the fried catfish, hamburger steak, or the Country fried steak with white gravy. Everything they have is delicious been going here for atleast 17 to 18 years now. And the owners are the best like family. Just love them. ❤ Oh and the fresh garden salad is always crisp and delicious too. Always Fresh veggies. They are always pretty packed so please be patient if you have to wait a little I promise you it's so worth the wait.

We visited twice on our 3 day bike ride. The food is excellent and the service is like a friend is welcoming you to their home. The fried chicken is incredible. Is this a Mississippi specialty or were we just lucky to eat in Sumerall. The catfish is also a must try.

We rode the Longleaf Trace bike trail from Hattiesburg to Sumrall a couple of times just to eat at Lau-Tori’s Fine Foods. The owners are really nice people. They’ve been in business over 30!

I believe this is the best restaurant in the pine belt. The quality is unmatched. Every thing on the menu is good. The chicken and dumplings are amazing. The salads are great and they have homemade dressing. The burgers are unmatched. The chicken and more dish is fantastic. Wonderful desserts. The atmosphere is calming and lovely. The staff and owner work so hard to make this food so consistent. Gotta try it!

It's a very rustic old place with friendly people and great food. It has the down home feel...like grandmas house.

We come from Hattiesburg to eat here frequently. The food is always good. I love the chicken and dumplings and chicken and more. Such a relaxing environment.

While visiting the area we decided to stop in for dinner. The food and service was excellent. We may just have to make a special trip back to eat again.

Excellent food and true southern hospitality! Had the hamburger steak special which comes with three sides and a salad for under $9. The antiques decor is simply charming and the service couldn't be better.

Update: Had such a good experience two days ago that we celebrated a special day for our family with takeout from Lau-tori's this evening: chicken Lau-tori's, sweet potato, fried green tomatoes with Julie, stuffed jalapeno peppers, and peach cobbler! Best meal I've had in ages. We've lived in Hattiesburg 4 years, and I'm so glad to have finally "discovered" this place!

I have always had a good experience here.

I have eaten at Lau Toris from the day it opened. The food is really good and you can't beat the hamburger steak. Well truth be told everything they have is top notch. I've read the negative reviews. I have just 1 question. Did you talk to your server about what made you unhappy? If you didn't then it's on you. They're always willing to step up and help make it better. I will continue to eat at Lau Toris until they throw dirt on my face.
