Isabella Bed and Breakfast was a fabulous overnight stay that was full of surprises. Apart from the 180 year old home which has been beautifully restored, Tilly our host was warm, friendly and so helpful. Sadie cooked us a hearty southern style breakfast complete with silver cutlery and lovely dinnerware. We honestly felt privileged to be a quest in this beautiful house which felt more we were visiting family.

We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone passing through Port Gibson.

In addition we had a short walk to a really cool local hotel for dinner and spent the next
Morning walking around Port Gibson and taking in the history and beauty of so many incredible homes.

My sister and I stayed at Isabella’s while bicycling the trace. The B&B was a perfect place to rest and refuel after a long day of cycling. The hosts were so accommodating and allowed us to put our bikes in the locked all season room at the back of the house. They had cold cokes waiting for us and pointed us to the best places to explore and eat. The town of Port Gibson is a hidden gem—lots of interesting architecture as you walk around with plaques in front of many houses describing the history. Very walkable city and very close to the Natchez Trace parkway. The many porches are perfect to rest, chat and enjoy the sights and sounds of this hidden gem. The hosts also are really knowledgeable about the history of the town and sat down in the evening and at breakfast to answer all our questions. The host and the B&B were equally darling. Don’t miss this stop!

This is a wonderful B&B, conveniently located on Highway 61 in Historic Port Gibson. The rooms are very nice and very reasonably priced. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. It's a great place to stay in Mississippi's most historic region.

My wife and I stayed here while I was cycling the Natchez Trace at the end of March. What a wonderful experience! The cycling directions to avoid bad roads were spot on, and the welcome sweet tea and cookies provided a perfect recovery from a long day of cycling. Great tips for local food and a side-trip to Windsor Ruins also added to the overall experience. We were able to chat as if old friends and Bobbye provided the exact, perfect breakfast for my early departure to Natchez. Beautiful, historic home and highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here in October of this year. It is hard to describe the feeling you get when you stay with Bobbi and Phil. It feels like home but better. We have stayed in more than a few Bed and Breakfasts, including some listed in the Select Registry, and none have impressed me more. The food was excellent, and the hospitality was superb. If you are planning a trip anywhere in the region around Port Gibson this is the place to stay. It will be well worth the stay!

The hospitality, room and breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Isabella’s Bed and Breakfast. Mrs Bobbye and Mr Phil Pinnix , took the time to talk to us and answer our questions and they both make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable on your stay, we really enjoyed catching up on local news. They made us feel like family and we are looking forward to returning soon. I love that there is no television in the bedrooms it makes the whole trip much more relaxing and quite. The fresh fruit with the cream sauce was my favorite. The house is has the Port Gibson charm and you feel the warm history. The rooms are very large, comfortable, inviting and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. We had no complaint. It was a short trip and we are looking forward to returning to just relax in the house and enjoy the charm and comfort. This is a great area to stay in between Natchez and Vicksburg and enjoy a quite town and historic area.

Isabella is a "must stay"! Fantastic hospitality delivered in an updated mansion. Very comfortable. The owners go beyond any expectation to make the stay enjoyable.
I was biking on the Trace and it was an excellent stop for going on to Natchez.

Ms.Bobbye and Mr.Phil were absolutely delightful. They made our stay away from home seem like we were staying with old friends and catching up on old memories. We were welcomed with opened arms and treated like family. The hospitality was with open arms and broad smiles. We dearly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Isabella Bed and Breakfast. The home is beautiful and so much of its history preserved. We will definitely be back. Ms.Bobbye and Mr.
Phil thank you both for sharing your home with us❤

Phil and Bobbie are true southern hospitality, and have renovated this large house into a great B&B. We had a large group biking the Natchez Trace, and the food and accommodations were outstanding. Highly recommended for a taste of the old south 👍

Even though we had never been to Port Gibson, nor stayed at the Isabella B&B until now, it was like coming Home. It was clean, comfortable, inviting, and the food was delicious, and it felt just like we belonged there. Truly Southern Hospitality. Bobbye and Phil were delightful and fun, we could have stayed and talked and soaked up their stories for hours. We left a little piece of our heart in Port Gibson at the Isabella.

I stayed here on Christmas Day while on a cross country bike ride. My stay was absolutely incredible. It wasn’t easy being away from my family on Christmas but I felt right at home during my stay. Bobby and her family were so kind and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious as well and Bobby made sure I didn’t go hungry.

Friendliness and Hospitality unlike any we've ever had from B&B owners. Beautiful home with everything one would expect in a very nice B&B. Location was on the beautiful Main Street there. Only negative re the location was traffic noise. The White Noise machines provided helped abate that a lot. Breakfast was a full delicious meal not just pick up Continental fare.

The cutest, quaintest "little" space! Though not little at all.. I stayed in the Lucille...I ended up with more than 3 guest and Mrs Bobbye was soo accommodating...made space for everyone to sleep comfortably! And breakfast ! I felt like a queen dining there...such an awesome spread...my family has stayed there twice and we will definitely stay in the future.

This is our second time taking a mini-vacation here. Phil and Bobbie really make you feel at home. They were great when we came here for a romantic weekend just me and my wife and even better when we brought the kids. Whatever type of vacation you are looking for Isabella can provide it. Also all the complimentary services they provide are amazing; drinks, snacks, not to mention the amazing breakfast. Really get a lot for the money you spend. And it is one of the cheapest places on the Trace! No extra charge for our two small children.

The best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at! The house is amazing ,but the owners are truly the best! It was my anniversary and they even made sure we had a bottle of champagne! I can't say enough about how great my experience was!

We loved this house. Our room and attached bath was tastefully done. We hung out on the upstairs porch even in the afternoon heat. Our host was amazing. We had the best breakfast
I would stay there again!

It will be hard to top our experience at Isabella's. Bobbey and Phil made us feel more like family (in a good way) than guests at their B&B. They have set a high bar that the innkeepers on the rest of our trip will have trouble matching. If you are in the area you must stay here if for the breakfast alone. You will not be disappointed.

Had a wonderful stay. The owners were great and helpful with all our inquiries. They also served a great breakfast for us before we continued our drive. Comfortable rooms and we felt like family. You couldn't stay in better surroundings. Thank you!
