Fetterman's

Passing through Platte City and i was beset by a hankering for a sandwich and heard about Fettermans from a review from a different sandwich shop.

I am not disappointed. There is something timeless about an honest to goodness small deli that just makes everything better.

I got the roast beef and cheese with horseradish sauce that was so good I got a second one.

For dessert, i was pleasantly surprised with a rather eclectic variety of ice cream flavors. I went with a scoop of the matcha. It's very tasty, and I can convince myself it's good for me.

All in all, it is a great, tasty, and more affordable place compared to more widespread chains.

Wonderful east-coast style deli. Delicious fresh food. Good coffee, delicious breakfast options. I wish we were here for lunch so i could get some ice cream! They post the wifi password at the register. Impressed by the drink selection, including on tap kombucha! Good, unique sodas, too, including olipop, frostie, and hanks. 10/10, would always choose this over starbucks or fast food.

This place has some delicious sandwiches. The meat is tender and plentiful, the bread is fresh. It's just a No Frill walk-in order at the counter kind of place that anybody should make an effort to go visit.

Placed an online order this afternoon and my MO Club wrap was ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I opted for a low carb rap and it was very tasty and not dry at all! Lots of selections for drinks and other treats. I feel like the prices are a little bit high (I paid just over $18 for my wrap, a medium drink and a bag of chips), but I'll definitely be back.

Fettermans always hits it out of the park with their food and customer service. They hands down have the best sandwiches in Platte City. They have a fantastic selection of sides, and they partner with other local small businesses like Messenger Coffee, Betty Rae's Ice Cream - a couple of Kc staples! I can't recommend them enough!

I have only visited Fetterman’s Deli only two times and those were the times I got their Combo Reuben which consists of corned beef brisket, navel cut pastrami, Baby Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing and spicy mustard on thick cut marble rye bread and this sandwich was delicious. I have to say that Fetterman’s provides everything that you need for breakfast or lunch during the days that they are opened, and that is excellent service for a hardworking business.

We've been in twice and had a great experience both times. We first had a Breakfast burrito and a latte, which were both great. The second time we went in for ice cream and a root beer float with KC made Betty Rae's ice-cream, and it did not disappoint. We're looking forward to our next visit to try out the Boar's Head sandwiches.

A proper local deli! Our area really needed one. Fantastic quality sandwiches. My husband said their meatball sub was one of the best he'd had! Loved the Betty Rae's ice cream. Service was super friendly and patient with my indecisive kiddo.

Solid place to eat. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for so it's worth the stop. They are probably one of the few sandwich places I've been to that actually use a sizable amount of meat for their sandwiches, rather than the tiny portions you get from places like jimmy johns or subway. They also have some local products like fudge and odd types of soda

Wonderful sandwiches and great chip selection. Hibiscus tea was excellent as well. One of the best Reubens in the KC Metro.

What a great experience at Fetterman’s. The staff was a delight. They were patient with my indecision and their recommendations were top notch. I had the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. It was delightful. Made to order with amazing ingredients. The bacon was thick cut and was over flowing. So good I forgot to snap a picture. Don’t forget a coffee when checking out here, the options are delicious.

First time in and I will definitely return often. Every bite was fantastic. Quality ingredients and great variety.

Came for some coffee and a cinnamon roll. The roll is very tasty and the cream cheese frosting is delicious.

The coffee was above average. It was from earlier today and the owner said he could brew me a fresh pot if I’d like. He also offered me a free cup if I was ok with him warming it up for me in the microwave. Never one to turn down a free cup of coffee I took him up on the offer!

Friendly staff and a relaxing deli environment. I’ll be back!

EAT HERE. If you're in the area and are hungry, this spot will definitely satisfy you. I am a very picky eater, and this place came through with a sandwich that did not disappoint. Great food from a nice local feeling shop. Great prices and there's lots of unique sides and drinks to try.

Phenomenal sandwiches at a great value. For less than the chain sub places, you’re going to get a fresh sliced sandwich with high quality ingredients. Great chip and drink choices, too!!

This place isn't inexpensive and it's not super fast, but the quality of food is exceptional. I overheard the owner (really nice guy) saying they use a large flat top to make the sandwiches, so it takes about 7 minutes to make a sandwich, and it has limited capacity. So if you are in a hurry order ahead. I had a large Reuben which had a ton of meat and sauerkraut, and it was nice and sloppy as it should be. Excellent place for lunch.

Literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve EVER had! The biscuit was so buttery OMG!

Easily the greatest thing to happen to Platte City, if not all of Missouri. Food is phenomenal and the staff is so pleasant.

Price is above that of any greasy fast food place in town, but 100% worth it. Why pay cheap for a puck of over-processed meat fried in lard when the Gods can grace your taste buds with delicious meats and cheeses.

Don't believe the hype? Go try it for yourself.

10/10, recommending to everyone I know. Which may not be a lot of people, but it's the thought that counts, right?
