RIVER'S EDGE MOTEL

This is one of the best places I have stayed. The owners are among the friendliest people I have ever met. They treat you like family. I would highly recommend the River's Edge to anyone who wants a quiet, comfortable place for the night.

The owner was really friendly and fun to talk to.
The room had coffee, microwave, fridge, ironing board, couch etc... It was very spacious as well.
Perhaps my favorite part was the bathroom window lock was broken and they provided an actual pipe to put in the frame to use as a lock. As a frequent female solo traveler, I can't tell you how many times I have fretted over broken locks on doors and windows. It was a great relief to me to be able to just drop that pvc pipe in and not worry about it.

Love the location of this motel it sits over looking the river ,it is a breath taking view .There is a 2 story building with rooms where the office is located and up the hill is a semi 2 story building with rooms so there is plenty of rooms to rent .The hot water in this motel is pretty decent. The owners are hard working people and honest. During certain seasons it is wise to call to reserve your room or rooms. There is 2 convenience stores close to the motel for all your things you might of not packed.

This by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. The owner is the sweetest woman in the whole world. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to everyone who is visiting the area.

Very friendly person that helped us. Got a great recommendation from her for a good local family style restaurant (Fat Boys on the other side of the river). Room was comfortable and everything was clean and worked as expected. View of the river was nice. I would stay here again.

I loved saying here! The rooms and bathrooms are super clean. The beds are comfortable! But i especially liked how easy it was to check-in and check-out here (especially since the owner is really friendly and welcoming)! Would recommend to anyone in the area <3

Owners are very friendly people, especially Rena (sure i spelled her name wrong), very accommodating. Rooms are clean, smelled clean and fresh. The beds are actually AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!! I travel A LOT,and these beds here are the most comfortable I've seen. You can go to your big name chain hotels, but you're not gonna find friendlier and as important,approachable people. I myself really appreciate when the owners and staff will find time to stand and have an actual conversation with guest!! I highly recommend Rivers Edge Motel in Louisiana, Missouri.

Clean, simple, friendly / helpful staff and pet friendly. My family and I have stayed a few times on separate occasions, and never an issue. It's not the Ritz or major chain hotel, But it's a excellent place to rest your head for a night or two when traveling.

Outstanding customer service. Simple but comfortable rooms. Friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculately clean. We would stay there again.

This is a great place! It's not fancy, but the service and comfort of the room is perfect! They were so kind to pick us up from the marina and drive us around!

My sister and I met here last week for one night enroute to KC. What a find. The owners and guests we met were so nice and helpful. The mighty Mississippi right out our windows, the occasional barge passing be, and every now and again a train which we enjoy, a charming town and actually the entire region full of things to explore and engage. The cats were an added asset and nice to hang out in the gazebo overlooking the water and bridge. Liked it so much I stopped and stayed again on my track back to Michigan. We will definitely make the effort to return to the Rivers Edge and plan to have more family come too. This afternoon another treat was seeing the bald eagles soaring overhead.

River’s Edge Motel was way better than I expected. From the outside it looks like an ordinary motel with thoughts like – is it clean, are there amenities sufficient, is the staff friendly and helpful? The answer is yes to all! We had a pleasant stay, and our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. They call daily to see if we need anything. It’s not a 5 star hotel but you’ll be satisfied staying here, especially with the price and beautiful location and wonderful staff.

Sitting right on the Mississippi River this place has great views. The people though are why I will be back. They sincerely care about you and are there for any needs. The rooms are clean and nice for the price. If you are in the area definitely consider staying here.

Great rates and owners. Rooms are clean and can’t say enough about how nice the owners are. In town for work, saw our crews outside and shared some grilled shrimp they had just made. Nice gesture at the end of a long hard day. Not a modern hotel but will always stay here when in the area.

This was one of the highlights of my recent road trip. The location of the motel next to the river provides awesome views. The motel is older, but very well maintained - my room had everything you need and very clean. After a day of driving, and a very hot and humid day, walking into a cool room was great. The owners were very nice and friendly people. And best of all - the price was right. I will definitely be back if I pass this way again.

Rivers Edge is one of the most amazing places I have stayed! The service was amazing, the rooms were extremely clean, and the views were just incredible! The owners never failed to make sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to provide the best hospitality. The prices were incredible especially for the experience you get so if you are looking for a place where the owners treat you like family this is it! Wish more places were as incredible as this!
