This one is the friendliest store I’ve been to in a long time. They spoke politely, gave us multiple samples to taste. We ordered a pizza and it was really good.

We paid $7 + tax for 100 crickets. They put them in a paper bag. Upon getting back to camp, we poured about 25 live crickets into our box. Another 25 or so were dead. 100?????? You folks cheat your customers. 😡

I come to the lake constantly during the Summer season, spending 75% of my time eating and shopping locally for any drinks, foods, or items we might need during our time out here. But this ONE STAR shop is not a stop I'd recommend to anyone. Especially tourists. If anyone from out of town comes here, they would never want to come back. The attitude of the woman answering the telephone is beyond rude and uninviting. Don't stop here. Go up the road, off highway 607. Get a pizza, some ice, and actually receive a friendly welcome. I wouldn't come here if I was 2 days without water or running on ethanol fumes.
