Bee Creek Shelter

This is a shelter house set up to be rented for private events. We have been to many wedding receptions, grad parties, and company picknics. There is running water on a spigot, two nice charcoal grills, and a food prep/service kitchen with refrigerator but no sink. There are nice, oak dining room style tables and chairs. This is an old tobacco barn, so it is covered and there are walls with gaps between the planks to allow for air circulation. There are 4 family restrooms with running water and flushing toilets. Great place to hold an event.

I always wanted an outdoor wedding! My husband and I got married in the clearing behind the Bee Creek Shelter and then held our reception in the barn. It was absolutely beautiful! We got married in the end of July, so we were grateful that the fans in the shelter kept everyone so cool. It’s a perfect venue for any outdoor event!

Amazing venue for a wedding and reception. Not many venues that you are able to have access Fri-Sun to set up and take down. Certainly made the event more fun and enjoyable.
