Bray Ace Hardware

I usually go to Home Depot or Lowe’s hardware, but today I went to both these places to look for propane in preparation for a hurricane that’s brewing off the coast of Florida. Both Home Depot and Lowes in my area were completely sold out of propane as they usually are.

A friend told me to go to the ACE hardware in Wintergarden off Dillard Street. I was amazed at how well-prepared this small hardware store was.

There were dozens of people lined up to get propane, and every single one of them was able to get filled.

Upon entering the store, I noticed they were fully stocked on batteries, water, and other essentials.

The staff was super helpful and even took some bags of salt for my water softener to my car.

Based on what I saw today, I will make the switch and continue shopping here.

Great employees…you always get asked if you need help and they are super friendly. For such a small store it’s always bustling and alive with people and lots of staff. The older gentleman in the garden department helped me with the milkweed plants and how to take care of them. Happy plant lady :)

Alex found the battery for key fob, and Ajay changed it out for me. They answered questions about auto keys and portable a/c units. Pauline was very nice at checkout. Excellent customer service at this location!

Took my power washer in for repair . These guys over at the Stihl: Brian & Noah are awesome. Power Washer runs great. I hope Mgmt treats them right other than a “ atta boy”.

Remodeled/New Look. Glad to see the investment being made to continue providing quality products and services.

When I walked in there were about six people in line and it looked like 50 people in the store. I figured I’d be there for an hour trying to find one little part. Five seconds inside the store an employee found me brought me right over to the section and found the bolt I needed. Four employees were working the registers and I was in line for about 30 seconds. In and out in less than five minutes. That’s how you compete with the big box!!!

First time ever coming to Ace hardware, great customer service. Steven was very knowledgeable in solving our outdoor firepit drainage issue with Florida's wet ground. I ended becoming an Ace reward member and will look forward returning to ace hardware for future home improvement needs

I needed to have a truck key duplicated. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. Johnny had my key made in about fifteen minutes. The dealership wanted over $300 and this was only $95 dollars. Absolutely would recommend this store!

Each time I visited this Ace, staff was very friendly and helpful. They see you looking around lost and ask you if you need help. They're very knowledgeable on what you need for your project. I never get this kind of service at lowes or Home Depot. Will support Ace more often.

Always friendly and seconds away if you need help. Nice neighborhood supplier with ample quantities of just about everything. Skip the big box stores and go here for a much better experience. Great for all chain saw repairs, blade sharpening, etc.

I just bought 4 Adirondack chairs and I was so impressed with Ace. The chairs are beautiful and I was able to get assembly and delivery for FREE! They even delivered them several days early!

Staff is always helpful especially Steven. Every visit I make I'm amazed by the great customer service I receive. I'm willing to drive extra distance to receive this kind of service. Thank you Bray Ace Hardware!!!

I’ll start by saying I’ve been going to this ACE for many years.I know every aisle but if I do need help there is always an employee to help. I’ll take ACE over any big box store . They also sell live bait for fishing which is a plus.

Excellent. Went to the store today and in less than 3 minutes left with exactly what I needed.

As a business owner we come to this location quite often. Our experience has become more of a warm and welcoming one when it comes to Ryan. This young man here is super helpful and very knowledgeable and has even given us advice about our truck. Always friendly and ready to help when he sees us. It’s hard to find that in the young community and it’s good to know he is very prideful in what he does. Thank you Ryan always awesome to see you.

It was my first time in the store and it was a great experience! Troy did an exceptional job helping me to purchase an A/C part for my A/C unit and I was so grateful to him for all of his help. I will definitely be back to shop again soon.

Went to get get a piece of glass cut from another location over 10 pieces of glass and they were all cut wrong. Went to this location a guy named Ryan helped me out cut it once it fit perfectly thank you so much !!!

Our Ace Hardware in Winter Garden is fantastic. The folks always ask you if you need help first of all and then they actually do help with kind enthusiasm!

I am moving from FL to the West coast and I have a Big Green Egg that I wanted to take with me. To ship it securely the mfg suggested that I track down a box to put it in, from my local dealer. I gave Bray Ace Hardware a call on a Sunday, by Wednesday, sure enough, they had a box for me! This type of service is why I shop here. Thankfully in my destination town, there are ACE Hardware stores. Customer for life not only because of the box, but most importantly, the service and personalization these stores offer the customer. Way to go ACE!
