Extremely unique arts district. Gallery owners live inside or next to their galleries, many of them have been there for decades and have so much great knowledge of art and the local area. I really enjoyed chatting with gallery proprietors while browsing the art. Looking forward to going back for their Skeleton Celebration (Day of the Dead) when all galleries will be open.

Such an eclectic place! We came on a day when everything was closed because we were in the area, but it was still amazing to see all of the art. I'm sure it would have been even better to go into the shops and talk to the people, as well.

I honestly don't know why this doesn't have more great reviews. It's such a cool gem in a small city. If you are specifically coming for the shops, just make sure you come on the right day at the right time. I think most of them are open Thursday through Saturday from 11 to 4. Covid might also affect these hours.

Either way, it is definitely worth a visit here just to see the houses and the art.

We made a quick stop, while passing through... Ended up wondering around for over an hour. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a unique little neighborhood, with so much to see. We only went inside one gallery but we will be back when we have more time. The front yards, filled with local artists creations were amazing!

Dynamic area full of color and creativity. Filled with coffee shops, restaraunts, spas, etc. Music can be heard from many of these venues from local artists. Will be back to explore further.

Great place to visit - lots of handmade treasures! Divine Excess is a great stop with tie-dye clothing and art and vintage handmade jewelry!

Village of the arts is a community of artists that live in small houses and stretches numerous blocks. They have an art walk the first weekend of every month and it's frequently themed, is an absolutely wonderful place to visit with a number of restaurants in the area

Day of the Dead celebration, awesome opportunity to tour artist's homes, street food vendors, uniquely unto it's own.

Fun art spot! If you're coming from a long distance just make sure you time it during hours they're open. If local, you can't go wrong with stopping by to spend some time wandering this area.

Best Art Village around. The largest in the country actually! A must see! Always open first Friday and Saturday and some are open Tuesday through Saturday 11-4. Come see amazing art and eat some amazing food.

I love going on the weekends. I love how the small community opens up there homes to us to view their art and shop's. A most see if vacationing or live here and need something fun to do.

This is Bradenton's best kept secret. There's events regularly in a fun, family-friendly environment. If you haven't been there before, you're missing out.

After visiting the village I decided to move from out of state and make my home there. Great group of neighbors and an always interesting variety of art and food!

I loved coming here to the Village of the Arts so much that I bought a home here right on 12th! Artwalks on first Fridays are especially fun!

I just did the crystal mining there and for $40 I was astounded with what I got. Defenitly worth every penny. A wonderful place to be 💕
