My family and I had a pipe break under our house about 2 months ago. After the break and dealing with the insurance company for 60 days we started looking for a great general contractor that couldn’t take care of the majority of the issues we needed fixed. A buddy of mine recommended Skyden Contractors so I gave them a call. Eric came out to look at the job and provide a quote. After deliberation we decided to go with Eric
and his team at Skyden Contractors. Junior showed up a couples days later to start on the job and they were done with in a few days. When I say they knocked it out of the park, I mean it. Junior was very professional with everything and made sure we were satisfied with the work as well. As you can see from the pics, minus the carpet, which they don’t do, our sons room looks like it did the day we bought the house and the outside stucco and paint job is amazing! I highly recommend Skyden Contractors if you ever have any major work that needs to be done on your house.

About a year and a half ago we had Skyden renovate our master bathroom and was so impressed we just had them do our kitchen renovation. Eric, Junior and the crew were extremely helpful in design of the kitchen and suggested quite a few things we had never thought of. As the renovation continued we felt we wanted a few additions, like moving the front door and continuing the updating into the dining room and finally the living room. Even with all the additions the work progressed quickly. Junior is so meticulous about the work he and his crew do that I had no worries about the project being "just right" before the crew finished. They took extreme care during the project and made sure we were comfortable each night they left. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting a job done right.

I was recommended to Skyden by a very kind older lady in Home Depot who was shopping for tile. After doing some research into their reviews, we decided to ask for a quote for our bathroom remodel. Our guest bathroom was a mess. We had to fire our previous contractor for the horrible tile work. Skyden said they could get us back on track. Their quote came back around the same price as other companies. I got to spend a good amount of time with Eric talking about the poor workmanship that got us to this point, and exactly how Skyden would handle our remodel properly. This gave me confidence they knew what they were doing. There were a few gentlemen that worked on the bathroom. They were all very polite to me and cleaned up after themselves. There was a lot of measures taken to ensure they isolated the demo mess/dust, like laying down a path of cardboard paper, hanging plastic on the doorway, and setting up a fan to blow the dust out the window. The previous contractor left my garage a mess, and Skyden organized all my materials and swept up my garage. They also hauled away my old toilet and vanity that the previous contractor left haphazardly. I also didn't have any long drawn out conversations during the project. I was kept informed of what was the agenda for the day, and occasionally asked a question, but any longer conversation was something I initiated. I felt like that was very respectful of my time. The tile work was phenomenal. I didn't expect such a great result. We bought tile that had a wavy texture, and not only is there a pattern for the joints, but the waves line up. The floor tile really has a finished professional look. The previous contractor could not get the floor tiles down without hollow spots. We have a very uneven floor. I checked every part of every tile Skyden laid and there's not a single hollow spot. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

Two weeks ago we had called Skyden Contractors for an estimate to remodel our shower. Eric returned our call immediately and scheduled to come out to give us an estimate. Sending out JR and Ken, both professional and competent craftsmen, who completed the entire job, gutting the walls, treating for mold, sealing, replacing all of the fixtures and tiling in only 4 days ! It looks beautiful and love it. We highly recommend them to all our family and friends and trust you will too.

Skyden Contractors are Absolutely Worthy of my 5 Star Rating. I have never given any company a 5 star rating before, but Skyden deserves it. Call them, you will Not be disappointed!!!
This was my experience with Skyden including Eric, Junior, Ken and Mark:
My entire kitchen, including walls, had to be replaced after a water leak and subsequent toxic mold growth. I contacted 6 companies for estimates. Eric Stromme quickly responded to my call and we scheduled an appointment for the estimate. He arrived on time for our appointment and we discussed the scope of work to be done. Eric was extremely professional, personable and listened to what I wanted. He was very knowledgeable about the process, the products, the cabinets he installed and the specific sizes and configuration of what was available. The issue I anticipated was trying to match the special stone countertops that I had. Eric knew exactly what type of stone countertops it was when he saw them and knew the challenge that it might be to find similar stone. He respected and understood why I wanted to match my current countertops and did not pressure me to go with some other type of countertop as other contractors had. Eric was excellent in his communication with me via text and phone calls. He always answered in a short time, if not immediately. On the day the job started, Eric came out with Junior and his crew of Ken and Mark, arriving on time. We discussed the scope of work and what I wanted. Junior and his crew were just amazing. They were professional, courteous, and highly skilled. They worked together as an experienced team. They left the job site clean every day. I didn't have to sweep, mop or remove piles of drywall dust. Junior is very meticulous and detail oriented. He didn't rush things and focused on doing the job right. As an example: After setting the cabinets, Junior discovered that my floor was extremely uneven. He reset all the cabinets so that they were level from one side of the room to the other. I know others would not have taken the time to do that. Astoundingly, in only 3 days, my kitchen was torn out, the walls were replaced and drywall done, and the kitchen cabinets were built on site and installed. In the meantime, Eric had gone to numerous stone yards all over the area to try to find similar stone. There just wasn't anything even close that was available at that time. But Eric didn't give up or try to convince me to change my mind. I told Eric that I would search for the right slabs and let him know when I found them. I updated Eric during my search and he didn't push or pressure me. I finally found the perfect stone slabs and contacted Eric. Again, Eric was easy to communicate with and returned my calls and text almost immediately. The countertops were then templated, fabricated and installed quickly. Junior became my company contact at this point and worked with me to schedule the countertop processes and even called to follow up after the templateing and installation to be sure the stone fabricator showed up, was on time and whether I was happy with their work. After the countertops were installed, Junior and Ken returned to finish out the job's final details. Again, they arrived on time, were extremely professional, skilled and detail oriented. Junior called me to follow up the next day to make sure that everything was perfect and met all my expectations. My new kitchen is beautiful! It was such a pleasure working with Skyden!! I would hire them again and refer my family, friends, neighbors and anyone who wants top notch, 5 star quality work done to them without hesitation.

What a difference a week can make!!! We wanted to convert our tub to a walk-in shower and finally decided to make it happen for the New Year! We chose Skyden because it was clear to us during our appointment Eric was extremely knowledgeable & honest about what we could realistically accomplish for our projects & budget. Junior & his crew were great. Even when something would not go as planned they were able to find a solution. They were prompt, clean, respectful & did AMAZING work! Thank you for the new bathroom, we LOVE IT!

- An overall excellent experience. This was first ever remodel and first experience with a home remodel.
- The business owner Eric was our first experience with the company. He came to our home and made some excellent recommendations. One was removing cabinets over the sink and not replacing them.....this would open up the view of the living room and also adding two lights above the kitchen sink. We took his recommendation and he was right on! You can see in one of the pictures. After making his measurements and providing recommendations, he left and said he would get back to us with a quote. Remember, this was our first remodel. We received his quote and at the time we didn't know if it was a good quote or not. Well, after gettinig additional quotes, his quote beat the others by thousand and thousands of $$. We accepted his quote and are so glad we did and went with Skyden.
- His team led by Junior was outstanding. After the initial demo (demolition) of the old countertops, cabinets, removing the old wallpaper and the installation of the new stuff, Junior was pretty much working lots of things on his own. Junior is a very attention-to-detail type individual. He is extremely professional, completely knowledgable, he has great craftsmanship, worksmanship and he will not stop working on a task at hand until he believes it's perfect. His workmanship and attention-to-detail significantly improved parts of my kitchen that were lacking from either the original builder or work have been done by previous owners. And this is in additiion to the beautiful cabinets and countertops that were installed. The job took a bit longer than the original estimate. However, this was due to Junior's dilligance, the improvements he recommended and made; plus not stopping until getting it right!! I told Junior he was the 'answerman' since I was the 'question man' with many questions throughout the process. The minor delay was not an issue at all since it led to improvements completed by Junior.
- Thoroughness: most defiinitely they met that quality. Always made sure they thoroughly cleaned up each and every day. Always kept me informed of any updates like the delivery and installation of the countertops and the master bathroom door and window.
- Bottom line: without question we are extremely glad we went with Skyden. The initial contact was with Eric the owner who was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. The MVP of his crew was Junior. You can see that by all the superlatives I listed above in my comments. In my opinion, I can wholeheartedly recommend Skyden to anyone for their remodel needs.

We used Eric Stromme’s Skyden Contractors to install a tile shower with safety bars in our master bathroom. They did an awesome job. They were on time, cleaned up any debris, finished the project in 4 days. We are very happy with how nice it came out. It was exactly what we needed. We would definitely use him for future remodel.

Five stars all the way!!! I did not know who to call when I needed to remodel a bathroom in my home to make it handicap accessible. I searched through google reviews extensively and came up with a few companies that seamed to be reputable. I had 4 different companies come out to discuss the project and give estimates. Some where locally owned and some were corporate franchises. I chose Skyden Contractors based on several factors. They were fairly priced (not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive). They truly listened to my needs and came up with a plan to make it happen. Then came time for the job to begin. I'll admit, I was nervous because even though I believed I chose the right company, I didn't know them and had to go on faith. I'll tell you that now the job is complete, I know I made the right decision. From beginning to end, I was kept in the loop. The professionalism of all employees was top notch. JR was the foreman on my job and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Eric, the owner also kept in contact to make sure I was happy along the way. Everyday the crews cleaned up the workspace and even vacuumed anywhere they walked to make sure my house didn't look like a construction site since we were living in the house at the time. My wife, who is a neat freak, mentioned this several times. And this wasn't a bath in a day kind of job. They removed everything down to the studs and completely rebuilt my shower including moving the drain and rebuilding the concrete to accommodate for the new type of shower since it had a tub before. They had no problem on me checking on the job while they were working and I can tell that no corners were cut. I was given free range to choose all materials and they made sure I got exactly what I wanted. But there is one thing that goes the extra mile for me. After the job was completed and they had been paid in full, I noticed a small area that I had a question about. I called and they were out the very next day. And I'll admit, it was a very picky issue and one that I would have been fine with if there was no solution. (I understand that making changes to an existing bathroom like I did are much different than building new from scratch). Without hesitation, they said "no problem" and took care of my issue. (Most people would have told me to live with it because it was so small but not these guys. And they had already been paid so it was definitely a pride in their work situation and not a monetary one.). I felt comfortable with all employees in my house at anytime. I will tell everyone I know that I highly recommend Skyden Construction any time I get a chance.

Skyden Contractors remodeled both of our bathrooms and did a fantastic job, even with changes that were made a day before our scheduled start date. Very respectful, responsive and clean. Had daily updates while we were working and couldn't be happier with their professional services and support.

Working with Skyden Contractors on our house remodeling project was a genuine pleasure. We had a very good idea about the end product on a majority of the items to be accomplished. But not necessarily all of them. We communicated with the project supervisor and he would come up with alternatives that we hadn’t considered. Always to the benefit of the project!

Eric, Junior and their team were great with our bathroom remodeling. From start to finish they kept us informed, offered design advice, answered questions, made sure we were getting what we wanted, and did it with attention to detail. The owner Eric, was very professional. Whenever there was a problem with supplies, he let us know right away. The workers J.R., and his assistant, who I regrettably can't remember his name, were exceptional! They showed up everyday on time. They were very respectful to myself, my husband, and our home. I am extremely pleased with their work, and the outcome of my kitchen. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to do renovations.

I needed a pre-fab tub enclosure removed from my guest bathroom as I needed a handicap accessible shower for my elderly father. Skyden came out, gave me a very fair quote so I hired them. Very professional and polite gentlemen came out and did an excellent job. They even cleaned up and hung my paintings back up in the bathroom. I have shared the whole job progress with my friends and colleagues. If you want quality work give them a call.

This company can do everything you need done inside and out. Very reasonable with pricing and honest everything is broken down to show you exactly where your money is going. The large project they did on our home was done quicker than expected. The detailing is amazing. We had an issue pop up after project was done and they came out to fix it no problem.

Skyden did an exceptional job on my kitchen and bathroom remodel and tile floors. Eric, Junior and the entire team were easy to work with, had awesome work ethic, showed up on time, did everything they said they would do and more. The communication was great and I was always informed of what was going on. They exceeded my expectations and I would definitely use them again. An enormous thank to Skyden Contractors. Our entire encounter with Eric, Junior, and Chris was five stars! We hired them to rebuild our chimney and replace the soffit. These gentlemen went above and beyond from day one. We had an insurance claim on our roof with another contractor, who Eric reached out to in order to coordinate things and help all of the work run smoothly. Junior took the time to oversee his crew and inform us of the potential issues seen in our roof that was just completed. This was a tremendous help and we ended up with a better roof replacement/repair because of this. The soffit work was done perfectly and they took the time to reinstall my cameras and reposition the way we wanted them. The chimney was in terrible shape. Junior and Chris tore the chimney apart and rebuilt it, added extra support, dried it in, installed a new cap as well as Hardy board siding, then painted everything. It looks brand new as if nobody was ever there, only better! I can’t say enough good things about our experience with them and look forward to having them do more work for us in the future!

Eric and the guys at Skyden just helped complete a job for me that was left unfinished in a bad state by another contractor. They came in and got the work (tile, drywall, paint, plumbing) done extremely quickly and at a high level of quality. Everything was done very professionally and with attention to details. The house looks great now and really exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skyden to anyone interested in home remodeling, and I'll definitely use them again in the future if I need more work done.
