Brown's Jamaican Bakery & Restaurant

We were traveling from PA and stopped here on our way into Florida. We had the oxtail, goat curry and steamed vegetables. It has got to be our favorite meal on our road trip!! So delicious.

The owner is very pleasant and sweet too! She gave us a piece of jerk chicken when we told her we’ve never tried it before; and didn’t want any $ for it!

Highly highly recommend. Will definitely come back when we are in the area to try the patties, roti and baked goods.

Hard to see from the road but stopped here after visiting the post office next door. This small mostly take out place served excellent Jamaican food. We tried the chicken curry platter which includes some steamed vegetables and your choice of rice. We decided to eat right there as we were hungry and it looked so good. There are a couple of small tables so I imagine others have done the same. The curry was amazing. We also had a slice of the rum cake, also very good and not too sweet. My son and wife liked the fresh Sorrel drink. We left knowing we would be back. In fact, later that afternoon, before leaving the area, we got more food to go, which can be ordered by the pound. Chicken curry, goat curry, jerk chicken and fried chicken were all quite good and the curry was even better the next day warmed up. If you like to try a real authentic home style Jamaican place, its small, hidden but super friendly place with delicious food.

Brown's is an amazing restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. The ladies behind the counter are very kind and hospitable, and the food is phenomenal. I got the jerk chicken, and I plan to go back and try the curry goat and the variety of deserts they have available. 10/10 I do recommend this place to anyone looking for Jamaican food.

Great place to eat. Knew the owner and Family for years. Healthy and Tasty you will come back. Known in the Latin American Caribbean European Asian and African American communities. Great prices wonderful Food. Fresh pastries daily Tell a friend. Try the Curry Goat Jerk Chicken Cow Foot and Steamed Fish. Their Irish Moss would also reenergize you to over 100% as a Natural Health Drink.

Thank you to very sweet and patient young lady! I was the one who told you I never had cocoa bread or bun n cheese! You were excited for me to try it which made me look forward to it even more. Girl it’s was so delicious! I can’t believe I’ve went this long without both and that curry goat was really the star! Y’all gave me great portions and everything was so flavorful. Y’all have just created a loyal customer! Thank you again for your kindness :)

This was one of the best Jamaican restaurants in Palm Bay. Coco bread was made fresh daily and oxtails fall off the bone. They kept me fed good during my two month stay in Florida.

The beef patty is my favorite, the portions are great for sharing.

Just moved here from Broward County where we have a large Jamaican population and restaurants. I was so very impressed with the service that sweet Annette gave me and the delicious Curry chicken, and I don't eat in my car but as soon as I got in my car I tore into the Spicy Beef patty and it was so damn good. I didn't think it was going to be able to compare with Finger'lickin in Broward... but it sure did!! Juicy, favorable and flaky crust just like back in Broward County. I will be back Annette, to try the Oxtails and get me some more Curry Chicken. Thank you :-)

Food is authentic & legit. Taste great. We had The jerk chicken and stew chicken- full of flavor. Plus we ordered a beef patty, and plantains. Yum! The plantains were cooked right , not to soft, sweet and delicious. Everything else looked great too. We dug in so fast, sorry forgot to take a picture. Im reading other reviews though, and make sure they are open before you go.

The staff is quite pleasant. The food is awesome. I've had several options. Oxtail, curry goat, stew chicken, jerk chicken and chicken soup to name few.. all of it was very tasty just as if I bought it in Jamaica 🇯🇲 .. excellent food and great service..

Always a pleasure to see the Brown family! Nice, friendly, respectful & the BEST COOKS AROUND! Homemade, Dairy & Soy Free options from Chicken to Ox Tails & their Baked Goods are Soooo Good! The Lemon Cake is the Bomb! So affordable too! Less than $10 geys you enough food for 2 meals! Can't say enough good things about this place!

So delicious! My husband and I shared the jerk chicken lunch special and it was easily enough for two people. We also got a couple of spicy beef patties and a side of plantains. Everything was delicious, authentic and high quality. We will definitely return!

10/10 first time I went in on a whim and tried the chicken patty first. I had to back and get 1 of each! Delicious! We will definitely be returning!

They catered my husband's 50th birthday party and the food was great. Everything we ordered was gone almost. Great tasting food. Reasonable pricing which makes it great for catering. Nice reggae music playing just like in the Caribbean. The restaurant is close to highway so easy access and plenty of parking. Entering the restaurant gives an atmosphere you want to feel...... like you are in the islands. Everything "IRIE" 😁

Delicious goodness. The patties are flacky and flavorful, best patties in Brevard county! They also have a mini market of items that are hard to find such as Jamaican candies, sodas, cookies, dietary supplements and other items!
Its a plus that they are extremely hospitable and friendly. I felt like I was speaking to an old friend it was a great experience from the point of purchase to when I sat down at home and took a nice crisp and flakey bite of my patty followed by a refreshing Ting! Cant wait to visit again.😋

Their red pea soup was my absolute favorite. I went almost everyday on lunch break. Iwas always greeted with a smile and the soup was ALWAYS hot. Keep up the great work Brown Family 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
