Dr. John M. Assi, MD

Wendy at the front desk is the worse front desk person for a pediatrician office ever !! She will schedule you then wait until 10 mins before your appointment to call you and tell you your child has been dismissed from the practice per the insurance carrier !! Ummm my child is self pay and doesn’t have insurance and if that’s the case why are you calling 10 mins prior to the appointment ! When asked to speak to the doctor she always says “she is way too busy to speak to you” as for doctor call back “that won’t happen “ just down right nasty all around ! I will be filing a formal complaint with the office manager at this office as well as getting in contact with the doctor to inform her how her front desk lady treats patients and parents ! Mind you my child was here with a fever of 103 and just nonchalantly turned away because she wasn’t to be nasty !! Do better as Dr.Assi would never ever allow this if he was still working in the office !!

Wendy..The heavy set big hair gum smacking lady at front window in Macclenny is about the rudest thing! She might need to check her attitude working in a children's Dr office! I Love Dr Assi but we won't be back!!
