A peaceful place to enjoy some coffee right by the water. Tucked next to Sailors Return, Gilberts provides brew, bites, and views... The Nitro cold brew was perfect. Comfortable outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Went back to give it another try. Everything was amazing. From the service to the latte.
Everyone has a bad day… but after that, this place surprised me for positive!

Very rarely I put negative reviews. Unfortunately, this is one of them.
We waited more than 15 minutes for 2 espressos and 3 lattes. I would understand if other people are waiting too… but a minimum of 6 others customers that ordered after us were served before us (and with even more complex drinks). No explanation for the delay and no apologies.
Finally, when we get our drinks, I enjoyed very much the espresso but I was very disappointed about the Vanilla Latte: not smooth at all and very bitter coffee was the main flavor.
I was very sad and they took 3 stars mainly for the amazing spot and the atmosphere that is amazing. They are very well located and the view is vete nice.
I’m sorry for the not wonderful coffee and the service.

Excellent atmosphere. You can sit outside and look out at the water or inside in the cozy cafe lounge. I had a hot tea that they refilled 2x and the small plates and smoothies I saw looked like something I need to get next time I'm there.

A picturesque coffee spot right on the water! This is a wonderful place to come and get coffee & a bite to eat. It has a beautiful view and you can take a nice walk around downtown Stuart from here. The coffee specials are unique and the food is delicious! The staff are friendly and prompt! They offer a teacher discount, too! The only potential problem is parking. If you come first thing in the morning there are spaces.

Easy, breezy and coffee! This gorgeous spot has tasty coffee + food AND an amazing outdoor seating area. Plus… totally pet friendly!

I had the nitro cold brew and the avocado toast and it was great! Not just “avocado toast” no, no, no!! Like tomatoes, and balsamic, and delicious sea salt. A must try food!

Cute coffee place! Very relaxing and beautiful view. Come out here on a lazy day or a rainy day :). Extremely friendly staff. Delicious treats. Come for a coffee or brunch or early evening drink. Wonderful option to have cheese board, sandwiches and / or smoothies. You can drive here or arrive leisurely in your boat. Oh and don't forget your furry friends! It's a dog friendly place.

Gilberts is a Gem on the river in Stuart, located beside a huge marina. The parking is tough, although there are spots. I went there for coffee, but the view and the Spring Toast was phenomenal. The staff was also really nice and attentive. You just don't get this at Starbucks. I plan on going back on my next trip to Stuart!

We found a little bit of heaven in this corner of Florida. Stopped by for a coffee and a cake. Coffee was about as good as coffee could taste (and I'm a fussy coffee drinker!) and the lemon cake was sure delight. Then sat in the shade and admired the view of the yachts and soaked up the peaceful ambience. Friendly and attentive employees and to top it all - free and ample parking. Beats corporate cafes by far.

This place is fantastic! Have you got friends coming from out of town? Want to take them to a really nice, beautiful spot with lovely things to eat and the most perfect coffee you've ever had? You have to come here. The view is spectacular, and everyone working here is so kind.

Gilbert’s is a wonderful place to enjoy your coffee and the beautiful weather of the Treasure Coast. Absolutely loved everything here. It’s a great place for a date with the love of your life. Fall is the perfect time to have pumpkin spiced anything at Gilbert’s. The avocado toast looked amazing, too. I highly recommend Gilbert’s.

This is a lovely coffee spot. Must visit if you are looking for a view along with your brew. They have delicious food options such as their avocado toast with goat cheese and watermelon radish. They also have lovely dessert options like locally famous Moe's muffins.

The drip coffee is some of the best drip coffee I've had anywhere in a long time. I typically get a latte though, or the nitro cold brew. It really packs a punch and is strong. Really smooth coffee.

This place is a little bit busy, but they seem to keep it staffed well. When they opened at 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning I was there, there were already four baristas ready to go. This kept the line moving and everything came out very quickly.

Gilbert’s is now my favorite coffee shop! I tried the buzzin’ banana smoothie & avocado toast for the first time and it was absolutely incredible!! I might be obsessed now lol. Friendly service, clean establishment & beautiful view! Highly recommend.

I loved the ample seating and parking. My mocha was phenomenal and you can’t beat the marina view. I look forward to coming back to enjoy another coffee and toast :)

Came here with my family and nothing disappointed. The guy at the register was very kind a patient with our order of pastries, coffees and hot chocolates. The view was beautiful and relaxing. We will be coming back soon!

Their drip coffee was really flavorful ( I would describe it as a nutty flavor) and also nice and hot. The blueberry Bundt cake was delicious as well.

Amazing spot!!! Staff was friendly and drinks were amazing! Had a bunch of tempting treats I will be back to try. Such a wonderful place, can’t wait to visit again!

We went this morning to have breakfast and everything was good quality, tasty and freshly made.
My matcha latte with macadamia milk was delicious, the winter toast was outstanding.
My husbands avocado toast was incredibly too. We will be back tomorrow for sure!

Avocado toast and seasonal tomato pie complimented an iced sugar free pistachio latte enjoyed overlooking the beautiful Stuart waterfront. This place serves unique and delicious combinations that are fresh and prepared with care just for you. This place serves light bites and delicious coffee, but you linger longer because the setting and seating is comfortable and relaxing. While it’s not cheap it’s worth a trip to enjoy the atmosphere and coffee.

This is a really great place to sit on the water and enjoy a good cup of coffee. My latest trip, we tried some apple pastries they had and they were really good. Highly recommend checking them out!
