The Prescription Shoppe

For 12 years I have used the CVS in Williamsburg and have never had issues till recently. I had to new very important prescription given to me by my Dr for my BP and Blood Sugar. It’s been over a week and CVS still hasn’t filled it. I have heard great things about The Prescription Shoppe and asked my Dr to send all of my prescriptions to them. That was at 1pm that she sent them over and at 330pm I got a text they were ready! I didn’t even know what to do with myself. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful. I am thankful I made the change and looking forward to doing business with them. If you haven’t made the switch you should!

Prompt friendly service from a staff that is professional and patient focused. Have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my Rx. I left Rite Aid and CVS locally after they repeatedly either did not have my Rx in stock or asked me to come back another day (multiple times) because they were understaffed and too busy. Never an issue at the Rx Shoppe. This store is a model of how the pharmacy industry should work...and how it used to work.

This was probably one of the most pleasant pharmacies I've ever went to. Not only were my prescriptions extremely affordable, they also had my medicine that's on back order most other places in stock. There was no wait and the staff was extremely helpful helpful with great attitudes. I will be transferring all of my medicine.

I cannot say enough good things about this independent pharmacy. My family is on vacation with our 6yo who needed antibiotics. Neither CVS, nor Walgreens could be bothered to pick up the phone after 30 minutes on hold. When I went in person to these chain retailers, I was told the medication was not in stock and they were too busy to transfer the scrip. The Prescription Shoppe not only filled the scrip in under 15 minutes, the pharmacist and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They treated me like a friend, not a customer. A+++ service. We’ll done! Thank you!

I transferred all my prescriptions from CVS to here. OMG!!! CVS took days…almost a week to refill my regular prescriptions. Also their customer service was horrible…everybody was always so mean. But the prescription shoppe…it barely took an hour once they got my prescription transferred over.

Also they fulfilled my sons meds which was out of stock everywhere within like…48 hours. That made a huge impact on why I love this place.

The staff is very friendly as well. I made the best decision ever to make the transfer. Nothing but good experiences. Matters fact; I won’t even go get regular over the counter meds from anywhere else but here. That’s how much I love this place.

I just switched to The Prescription Shoppe from Rite-Aid and I literally couldn't be happier. I'm greeted every time I come in the door, the staff is pleasant to talk to, and the owners are easy going and informative when I've asked any questions. Henry even got a lollipop for my 4 year old son(scored big points on that one!). Definitely happy my prescriptions are in their hands!

Best pharmacy and service in town hands down! My Rx prices are lowest here too! They carry quite a bit of naturopathics, supplements and several CBD lines too.

The owners and most of the staff are extremely friendly. Henry after 1 visit remembered our names and always ask how we are. It makes you feel special when the pharmacist can recall your name from your first visit.

Her enthusiasm was entirely warranted as this place is fantastic. Warm, helpful staff, good prices and they’re fast. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Everyone who works here is so amazing and kind. It’s a real small town pharmacy where you’re not just a number and they actually care about their customers. Very rare these days to find such honest and kind people. My prescriptions here cost the same as the chain pharmacies, but I’m not just a number and I’m supporting a small local business. A good old-fashioned pharmacy has returned to Williamsburg putting patients first, not the insurance companies! I just moved to the area and my new doctor, Dr. Christine Mutch, at Defiant Direct Primary Care referred me to The Prescription Shoppe. While Dr. Henry (the owner of The Prescription Shoppe) was filling my prescription, processing my insurance, and answering my questions two other clients walked in and Dr. Henry greeted both of them by name as if they were old friends. He knows his clients and he knows his craft. He didn't simply answer my questions, he took time to educate me. He has a very gentle, wise, and caring demeanor. No more grocery store pharmacist for me!

Flu shots? Elsewhere telling me that the “over 65” dose is unavailable. Here, in stock with less than 5 minute wait time. Shingles two-part vaccine? Long wait lists everywhere else. Here, a short wait list, and covered by my insurance same as the chain places that don’t have it. COVID vaccines and boosters? Yes!

High quality CBD ointments, yes! Friendly service, yes! Easy parking, yes!

I can honestly say that switching to The Prescription Shoppe is the first time I have ever felt a sense of pride in my choice of pharmacy. Pharmacies have always been a commodity service in my mind. Now I know I'm supporting a business and a family that is as invested in the community as I am, and it feels great referring the Prescription Shoppe to others.
