Heirloom Express LLC

We used Heirloom Express LLC for a design project in Virginia. They cam recommended by one of our shipping companies Shelba Johnson. Managing a project from a different state can be tricky but not if you are in the good hands of Heirloom Express. They are organized, thorough, and very communicative from beginning to delivery. The smoothness of our large installation of over 7 rooms of furniture came from their professionalism, preparedness, and years of experience. I would highly recommend them for any move, especially for designers.

We purchased a pristine, steel and glass early 20th century vitrine from an Old Town Alexandria shop. The store recommended Heirloom Express. This is a tale of ultimately first rate customer service. The initial delivery attempt resulted in damage to glass shelves and a door. In the beginning we had some communication snafus with Heirloom (hence 4 instead of 5 stars). The vendor was completely uncooperative.
John Quinn, Heirloom's owner, agreed to fix the problem. He personally picked up the door for repairs. It took five tries for the glass shop to properly fix it. John communicated progress (and delays) frequently. When everything was fixed, John personally delivered the repaired parts.
The vitrine is pristine once again. I highly recommend Heirloom for their willingness to work on making a customer happy. John is clearly committed to customer service.

Unfortunately, we used Heirloom to deliver and set up our product. After the delivery guys damaged the product on the way in, it quickly turned into a nightmare!

The owner's John and Sheree Quinn promised everything would be taken care of, but it's been month's and we haven't seen anything from them! They refuse to respond to calls or emails! They are never in the office. Many empty promises, frustrated customers, and a ton of money down the drain... Heirloom has still not returned our calls today and therefore we had to resort to this. I gave them several chances to make it right before writing this review.

IT'S BEEN A 6 MONTH NIGHTMARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHERS OUT THERE TO USE. DON'T GO THROUGH THIS MESS THAT WE HAVE HAD TO ENDURE.

I have used this company twice to deliver custom furniture. The first time there was no problem. The second delivery (June11) was a huge problem. An item was delivered damaged and it was claimed that we damaged it. Mind you, they were paid to inspect the furniture before delivery. It was returned and it was a nightmare to get them to claim they were in the wrong. Long story short-furniture manufacturer paid for the repair and I had to pick up the chair. They wanted to charge me another $300 to redeliver it. Highway robbery and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THEM. The furniture manufacturer is also making sure that other custom designer manufacturers never use them for white glove delivery!
