Crystal Gateway Marriott

Service was excellent. Check in was friendly and helpful. I believe she said her name was Keisha, but very nice and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel is in a good location, close to Reagan airport and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes, making it a great option if you are arriving later in the day.

Visiting the area for the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial event...the dinner on 6/14 hosted at this location was phenomenal. The shuttle service to the actual ceremony was simple and easy. We appreciate this hotel being the host for this awesome event. We thank you for your hospitality!!! 😊👏

They are amazing. We have beautiful managers. I think one name is Christabel. She’s beautiful I hope I spelt this right. There’s a Stephanie that emailed you before the trip. I am impressed. I am overjoyed if you’re looking for somewhere really nice in Virginia please stay at this Marriott it’s clean it’s relaxing And I love it here here for a conference

I loved my stay. I literally flew in off a red eye flight (without reservation) and the staff was phenomenal at getting my the best room.

The hotel is walkable distance to pentagon fashion center- and the multiple surrounding malls.

The only [minor] inconvenience, would be the laundry area. There is a room with a washer and dryer for guest, but you can also ask housing for laundry service as well.

Pro tip: if you’re coming from the metro for the first time, when you get to the bottom of the escalator going up to the street, you’ll see tunnels going off to your right and left. The one on the left has a prominent Marriott sign. That is not the one you want as it leads to the Crystal City Airport Marriott. You want the other tunnel on the right, that will lead to the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Very small sign for that. Of course I went to the wrong hotel first. Once I figured that out, it was really nice having a metro stop below the hotel.
I gave this five stars bc it seems very well staffed and managed. It seems a wee bit dated but it was super clean and the service was great. They accommodated a late check out. Would stay again.

Great hotel for a weekend getaway. Excellent, friendly staff. My suite was comfortable and spacious. Be forewarned bar and restaurant close during the day so no food choices from 10:30 - 4:00 including weekends.

Stayed here with a group, and had nothing to do with planning or purchasing. The hotel and staff was great. We had dinner provided by the hotel, and the rooms were what I expect at any hotel. Clean & comfortable, nothing over the top special.

I stayed here for a competition and I had an excellent experience. Customer service is great as they even helped me when some of thr other guests were being extremely disruptive, which I appreciate. Parking is a bit expensive though.

Very happy with this place. Nice and clean but most importantly Ana at the front desk went above and beyond and is extremely courteous and polite. I was also walking to my room and randomly offered a piece of chicken from a chef with a plate.

My room was freezing the entire time I was there. Apparently, the thermostat was broken. The front desk contacted maintenance but they never showed up so they offered a blanket or portable heater. I declined and slept with my hoodie on.

The rooms were very nice and the service was excellent. I really loved the convenience of getting to the metro. If I’m in DC area again, I would consider staying here.

I was here for a conference meeting. The food was off the hook. Someone commented it was like being on a cruise, it was so good. The hotel is one stop from Reagan Airport on the METRO and even has its own connector to keep you warm and dry. The room and its service was great.

The air force civic leaders have stayed here for 9 years. Always an excellent experience and highly recommended.

The shuttle to and from the airport runs right on schedule. The M Lounge is clean and well stocked. The front desk and M Lounge personal are very friendly and helpful.

My favorite Marriott in the country. Excellent beds and service. The elevators have precondition. Location is exceptional. DC metro is accessible from the lobby. 3min from the airport with a gas station on the way to fill up your rental. The M-Lounge breakfast is second only to the Waikiki Marriott.

Very close to the Crystal city metro. Easy to navigate. Restraunt is nice. Had a great Tuscan chicken sandwich for dinner with a local craft beer. Had breakfast buffet the next morning. Food was good, coffee was strong and hot. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Very convenient for our stay to get to our daughters apartment and to the ballet. Will stay here again.

I been to alot of marriott properties and so far this one is the best in my eyes. Has everything you need. The staff are very helpful in answering any questions you may have andif they dont know they will find it out for you in a timely manner. Breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect you can walk wherever you need to on crystal city in no time at all. I highly recommend staying here..

Staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions. I had a family member stop by and Taylor at front desk walked me out to speak with staff outside and assist with parking. That was sooo helpful and considerate! The M Lounge is a great idea, nicely done and cozy. The lobby is lovely and rooms are perfect size and were very clean and well lit. View was good. Quiet and comfortable stay! Front desk a.m. person was very helpful, leaving his area to show me where the coffee was. There was even a conference booked and because of layout of hotel, it had no affect on me as a private guest. Love this hotel, I'll be back soon and will explore outside area this time!

Very nice and centrally located venue for the Washington, DC metro area.

They have a very nice spacious glass enclosed mixing area outside the ball rooms.

NOTE: I save my 5-stars for only the very best. I would have given it 4-stars for being consistent with other similar establishments but the mixing area described above made me give it 5-stars.
