Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williamsburg, an IHG Hotel

Not a 5-star hotel by any means and there were a couple of minor hiccups but overall it checked all of our boxes and earned a good review! The updated room was clean and comfortable, the indoor saltwater pool was heated well, the breakfast was filling with plenty of choices, and the staff we met were friendly and professional. We’re picky with hotels but this was our second stay here and we’ll certainly be back again when visiting the area!

Clean spacious room. Clean facilities. Great breakfast selections that were restocked quickly. Staff working the breakfast area were very accommodating.

The young lady who checked me in was extremely nice & helpful.

Pool is heated. Seemed to be plenty of parking.

We were able to hang in the lobby and play our board game until it was time to head to the Amtrak station

Only stayed for one night. However, the room was very, very clean, affordable, and comfortable. Holiday even have a free breakfast 🥣 bar 😋. If and when I do vacation in the area, Holiday Inn will be my choice hotel.

I’m very impressed with the employees at this location. The lady that checked us in, the lady on the shift after her, the maintenance man, and the lady who oversaw the breakfast area were a delightful group. They were respectful, courteous, mindful of keeping the area clean, and very aware of their surroundings. I stayed July 14-17, 2023 the hotel was clean, the parking lot was very well lit and on the second night I was planning my stay for 2024!

The renovation was very well done. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, the pool was clean and ready to use, n kids loved the pool since they had their swimsuits. The front desk managers were very nice and tried hard to accommodate our needs. Well worth to come back in a future. And we are coming back next week again ..

Last minute stay here and we were pleased. Wonderful customer service and breakfast was good! Rooms were clean and nice. If you forget soap don’t worry they have Dove supplies available in the room. Will be staying again.

We heard that the place was renovated and decided to stay again, and it was a great stay this time. The renovation was very well done. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, the pool looked clean and ready to use, but we didn't because didn't have our swimsuits with us. We recently stayed here for three nights, staff were very friendly and helpful on check in, the room was great, breakfast was good with everything well stocked and overall we had a lovely time. The hotel is well located for places to eat and for easy access to Colonial Williamsburg. Would definitely recommend.

Much too mind and my husband's disappointment after requesting a handicap accessible room and it was confirmed with the reservation there wasn't one available to us when we checked in. The desk clerk was very apologetic, my husband had to request a discount for the inconvenience which was granted.

My family and I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Williamsburg. Some of those hotels have fancy names and prices but sad service, subpar rooms and amenities not available.
HOWEVER, this Holiday Inn Express was great!!! The room we stayed in was as was as neat as a pin!
My son and husband loved the indoor pool!
I loved breakfast! 😊
I would 100% recommend Holiday Inn Express as a convenient and overall nice place to stay!
Please save us a room!!! 😁🤣 But seriously! We'll be back soon!!!

Great location and one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed at.
Room was spacious with the usual H.I.E. amenities. Breakfast was great. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or fitness center but they both looked nice and kempt.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms are very spacious and everything looks to be updated. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the Williamsburg area. We will definitely be back again!

Right away, I felt like family. The manager was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good 1. Great staff, great clean rooms. Best hotel I've stayed at on a long time.

Location is perfect for those traveling to the USCG Training Center. Easy travel to and from. Short travel to Yorktown Battlefield. Nice restaurants within a short 3 minute walking distance. Gas station close by. The front desk was amazing! No hassle check-in.

Got a better room then what was booked. Clean ,& friendly. Great breakfast setup.

We had an awesome experience at this hotel ,the staff was extremely friendly, not only to us but I witnessed it with other guests .The gm Thabet was very personable and accommodating so much so that we stayed an extra night and I also booked this hotel for my parents honeymoon. I was here for a work event so 3 other rooms were used and all were clean and spacious,the breakfast was also great I was skeptical about pancakes instead of waffles but was pleasantly pleased .We will use this hotel every time we return to Williamsburg

Express. Breakfast was great even on a busy graduation weekend. Wish they would put some kind of damper or cushion on the doors to the rooms because we listened to slamming all night long.

A absolute beautiful hotel room, service was great. Continental breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment.

Location is very convenient and this hotel is brand new inside. Front desk staff is great, and Diamond status is well recognized (very rare for Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express). Breakfast was always fully stocked.
