The Zone

Fun place to go for the dads and kids, nice for your Birthday, and Mom's can have wine at the bar. The laser tag rooms are a bit small, but the newest arcade games make up for it. Fun weekend and even more fun Wednesdays.

I've been to The Zone many times before and haven't really given too much thought about how great their food was until today. Just to give everyone some background about how much I enjoy this place. I recommended this for our company's Christmas Party and no one complained to the party organizers, so I take it as everyone enjoyed it, normally there's always someone complaining. I had my global team building excercise here of mid 30s and 40 yr old and everyone enjoyed it and I had some picky eaters in that team and of course my kids birthday parties. It's a perfect balance of fun, drinks and food that is good for almost any pallette, it's portioned right, plus not overpriced. We always feel like we had a great time and a great meal after the day. The restaurant and bar area is nicely tucked away from the fun area so if you are just stopping in for food and drinks, it's not too loud in that section. This Fire Zone shrimp was amazing, hint of sweet, spice, creamy, crispy, just so good. I ate more than half of it and I was suppose to share it. They have ribs, this one I find people like to debate what makes good ribs.. but If you like, fall off the bones (less mess on your face), tender, juicy, ribs, sweet smoke BBQ sauce then you'll like their ribs. We certainly enjoyed it.

What a surprise! A truly fun departure from Dave and Busters! I'm telling you guys, this place has what you need for a cool little getaway for a guy's/girl's night out or a frustration-free, family outing.
It's got a little bowling alley, surprisingly large laser tag arena, an assortment of addictive arcade games, legit VR games, oh yeah... the restaurant is actually VERY GOOD. Good drinks, accommodating wait-staff having, tacos, beer, calamari, and burgers. They serve a pretty banging breakfast.
Bring your friends and/or kids, don't sweat the small stuff, let go and have a blast.

Love this place! Every time I go out to visit family, we play laser tag for hours. They have a huge variety of arcade games, 3 lanes of bowling, and even food as well. Good prices too. Parking has to be across the way in a parking lot, since street parking right out front is only 2 hours, and extremely limited.

Some really cool games. A fun place to go on a free night where you don't know what to do. A chill bowling spot . Did not get to view the bar, but friend who did get to enjoyed it. Suitable for kids who's parents are attentive and want to help them around to play games or bowl.

If you looking to host kids or adults birthday party. Look no further. The Zone service , food and staff were amazing. They very accommodating to all our requests. Highly recommended

I booked a party for my daughter there last weekend. So glad I did! From beginning until end they took care of EVERYTHING, it was no effort on my end- I could be more or less involved as I wanted but they made it a choice for me- I chose not to be as involved since I did booked the most expensive package and it was well worth it. The staff was great!! See you guys when my son turns 10- !!

Awesome arcade venue with a creative and tasty menu!

This was my first time visiting The Zone. This is a place to play video games. However, what really made me excited about this place is the bowling alley. The bowling alley has four lanes, and it is a mini. It was a fun and awesome experience for me. I definitely would go back!!

We had our son’s birthday party here with the gold laser tag package. This was the 2nd birthday party for us here because our son loves playing laser tag here. We lucked out with a really great party hostess, Hannah. She was nice to the kids, helpful with the party set up and food, and just generally a really sweet person who seemed to enjoy her job and wanted everyone to have a good time. The pizzas came to the room on time, piping hot and tasty, which was a relief since the last laser tag party we had here the pizzas were burnt. I’m pretty sure Hannah mentioned something to the kitchen to ensure that the pizzas wouldn’t be burnt this time. The cupcakes were also tasty and not overly sweet. I also thought the teenagers they had working the arcade counter were friendly and helpful. I think the management has done a good job hiring a nice group of teens. All the kids said they had a great time, and most importantly, my son said he was really happy with his party. Laser tag parties tend to cost quite a bit in this area but at least this place does a good job with them.

Had our company Xmas party here and we had a blast! The 1/2 lanes were perfect for the kids, coupled with fun in the arcade and great food at an affordable price. Plus they have plenty of TVs for the Red Wings game. A++ experience!

We held a birthday party for my daughter with 10 of her friends. The kids were able to bowl, play laser tag, arcade games and had food and drinks. I let the kids have fun while I hung out in the restaurant/bar area. They assigned a staff member for facilitating the party so I was able to sit back and let the kids enjoy themselves without a parent hovering over them. I had a great time talking to the manager, Ron, eating some ribs and calamari. The place was a lot bigger on the inside than what it appears from the street with two levels, and as I mentioned before, has bowling lanes and a decent laser tag area.

I hesitate to share this because we won't find a seat, but we've visited the Zone twice since COVID and I have to give props to management for getting it right when they were short-staffed. They went to online ordering and the staff delivers to your seat based on where you scanned your QR code. We can put in notes and the food comes out just as you wanted it, is tasty, and timely. Not to mention, that the staff is always friendly and helpful. Both times we went, the pricing has been more than reasonable and we feel like we are getting the best bang for our bucks, especially since we're also spending money on the games. We will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!!

The zone is definitely a hidden treasure of broadlands area. The food is great, the arcade has a great selection. They need to fix the pins on the bowling lanes, but that's about it. If you have kids this is definitely a great spot for you!

Great place for kids and adults. The atmosphere was very engaging, many activities present to keep your attention. Definitely brought the big kid out of me, was ready to challenge any one of my 8 kids lol

Was here for a birthday party. All the kids had a great time and the hostess/waitress was stellar. The games are a bit over priced, but the bar was great and we really liked the laser tag. The bowling alley could use some love but it was functional.

This is a one of a kind place. First, let’s start with the games they have such a wide variety of games from the walking dead and halo to VR games like beat saber and many more. Next was the laser tag the course was amazing and the art and things on the wall add to the glow in the dark experience and did I mention it was two floors. Then comes the food the food was unbelievable it was so rich with flavor I had a burger and the wings and the flavors were just brilliant. they also had bowling lanes which were very clean and elegant and just looked like a lot of fun and they also had cool projectors above the lanes too. Lastly, there were amazing meeting spaces upstairs they are great for corporate meetings and birthday parties they also have VR upstairs too and they have a whole variety of games to choose from. At the end of the day, I was very happy and satisfied with my day at The Zone.

We went for an office party and food drinks were pretty good.. kids will have fun as well as families.

Overall I like this place very much. It's not a 5-star restaurant but as a gaming and food/bar package it is a pleasant experience. We tried the wings which tasted fresh and BBQ sauce was good quality. We had ribs and a chicken salad, ribs were average, but chicken salad was very tasty. They also had a very good selection of beer and some high-end whiskey and scotch options. The games are more expensive than the typical arcade, but we live in NOVA and everything is more expensive than you would expect. Overall the games were fun, didn't play bowling but the lanes looked very nice. Same for laser tag. We will be returning. The only thing I would add would be a small pool table.

We spent a few hours here over the weekend and had a lot of fun. We didn't try the laser tag or food, so I can't comment on those. The video games and bowling are a lot of fun though, if a bit pricey (like all places like these). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities very clean and orderly. The entire place is a little on the small side, so the selection of video games is also on the small side, but everything they had seemed really new (and fun!). The bowling consists of four lanes and smaller than a regulary bowling lane. The pins are attached to ropes that go into the ceiling, so when you know the pins down, they are pulled up and then lowered back down into position. I'm sure a bowling expert would have issues with this, but it worked just fine for us. Overall we had a great time, but expect to spend a lot of money!
