The administrators will lie to your face and you will know that they are lying and they know that you know that they are lying.
The Baker County elite resist automation in all areas because they really, really don't want to lose professional jobs. Not just paper medical records behind-the-times, but they wont automate things and say "because of jobs".

Meanwhile, the living areas are understaffed. They are over-worked as a result. When a young staff member dies after working a series of double shifts and the administration doesn't do anything for several years when they are forced to it communicates.

The staff fabricate location/verification of the patients because the administration is dishonest and expects too much.

Meanwhile, there is lots of "support staff" doing busywork.

The first time I worked there for 3.5 years I thought they didn't know technology. Then next time I worked there for 3 years or so I learned that they deliberately, knowingly, willfully, and dishonestly refuse to automate because they want to preserve desk jobs.

After resigning, I will not work there. The administration is corrupt. Baker County is corrupt. Representative Janet Atkin's tears saved privatization in a pathetic appeal and she cited jobs. It is jobs, and it is cut-throat. She is right.

Secretary Mike Carrol pretends to not know anything and the Administrator Joseph Infantino is acting in the media like he doesn't know the atrocities but if they read my annual staff satisfaction they will see that the things they pretend they dont know about are being told to them repeatedly.

It is as pathetic as the show "undercover boss" where the boss comes by and sees that $8 or so an hour isn't a living wage but he knows that all along. It is the theme on the show for years.

So they lie to your face to exert power and lie by omission as a means of survival. They think it is a prison, run it like a prison, and generally don't care about the individuals served.
